I went to the shoot completely under prepared. I had no idea how to pose, what type of background I wanted, or what unique touch I wanted to add to make the photos my own. T&D had that completely handled for me (such a breath of fresh air :) They showed me a few different "maternity" poses and had 2 perfect locations already planned for me. Timothy is such a perfectionist in the perfect way. He really knew how to bring out the "Top Model" in my partner and me, who had no clue what to do with ourselves in pictures. The chemistry between Timothy and Deanne was amazing. It definitely rubbed off on us and made our pictures even more beautiful. They are so friendly and the quality of work they give you is just wonderful. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again!

Her pics are either really close up or very far away. Doesn't pose the kids, I'm all for non posed pics however when it's for dance that's completely different. The lighting is always bad. I take better pics. Her new thing is she puts these extremely heavy watermarks on her digital images so you can't print them out. While I understand that concept, these were so obnoxious me and my sister both said the same thing about our kids pics. We couldn't really tell what we were purchasing. So blurry. When I contacted her she said replied with, adorable, lots of smiles. Sure, because she can actually see them, I can't. What would she say, oh they look awful? When telling her I couldn't really tell due to the watermark, she ignored me and never emailed me back again. I think she just assumes if parents want a pic of their kid in their costumes that bad they will pay for it. And she would be correct. Here I am after going back and forth with frustration ended up giving in and purchasing the 3 I felt looked decent. When the watermark was removed after I paid of course, I wish I haven't done that. Should have went with my gut on this one and not purchased. Each digital download was $35 or you get 5 images for $100 as a package deal. I couldn't even pic out 5 good ones out a total of 34 images she took. Save your money. Hire someone else. If her studio has her come back, I definitely won't be sending my daughter in on pic day. Waste of good hair, costumes, and makeup.

I had seen Jessica's work on Facebook and was referred by a friend who had nothing but great things to say. I purchased a large photo package which included maternity photos and pictures of my baby right after she born, at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. I knew what I wanted my photo package to look like and Jessica was very accommodating. Good photos aren't cheap, but I found Jessica's prices to be comparable to other photographers. Our first photo shoot was done outside. My son didn't cooperate at all, but she still managed to get great pictures. Our second photo shoot was for my daughter's newborn photos and that was done in her studio. The studio was a clean professional space that was decorated very nicely. One thing that I love about Jessica is the number of photos she gives you. You definitely get your money's worth! Jessica also prides herself on getting you your photos on time!

However, while we paid for two…read moreshooters, there were several separate instances where we were unable to locate either of them in our one-room venue during our reception. This was what we were trying to avoid and ultimately why we chose and paid for two photographers. We wanted to accommodate for breaks, and anything else that might come up while still having one photographer to cover. Olivia offered a partial refund for this, but ultimately went back on her word and provided zero compensation. She stated that they, "fulfilled their contract." I would have to disagree, if you pay for two photographers - you should get two photographers, or at least one when you need them! I would feel terrible if other couples weren't advised of this going into a contract with her. This was, as it is for most couples, the most expensive part of our wedding day. Though we have lots of great shots, it's a stain on my memory to think of the many missed opportunities.

This is why I loved the work that Yuliya and Oleksiy did for our wedding, I just got a copy of the pictures and I couldn't be more pleased. I guess as some one who has just gone through the whole process I see value in this review if I can express or share something you can't get from a contract, email exchange the many things you can gleam from the long grueling and painful wedding planning process. This is the one moment of truth item, its the fact that they cared and did the things they had to do to make it a great experience, believe me when i tell you not every vendor cares. The Yuka team was extremely friendly to our guests, they stuck to the letter of the contract and if anything exceeded our expectations. They were so kind and it made the day easy. Yuliya and Oleksiy cared and it showed in the product from the actual day of the wedding up until i just got a copy of my pictures a few minutes ago. Yulia has a great eye, she was able to see locations, opportunities and venues and and take advantage of them and it resulted in great pictures. She has the patience of a saint listening to the various photo suggestions people in the wedding party, in addition to family members. When the lenses came in they didn't get dark therefore they had to be remade again. The second time they came in they still weren't correct. When I called to inquire about it the gentleman was very passive and stated "you have lenses they just don't get dark" I stated I understand the lab messed up the lenses for the second time however I've paid for them and I want what I paid for and as the seller instead of getting nasty try trying to treat me like a valued customer not as if I'm disturbing you. He offered free lens clothes, are you serious? By the time I get the lenses for the 3rd time it will be 6 weeks. No I don't want free lens clothes refund some of my money

About mid day I learned that Sterling Optical has locations with a lab on site to help me retrieve a new pair of glasses. Marzia answered my phone call and upon my arrival to the office she was able to help me handle the situation with a new pair of glasses under an hour.
