This business also poses as Econo Lodge. Priceline sold me an express deal for Econo Lodge but…read morethere's no sign for Econo Lodge anywhere in the vicinity. There's a backwards OYO Townhouse sign outside near the parking lot which looks like it is for a dilapidated food court. It's very confusing coming into this hotel. No signs on the actual building. You go inside and you see signs about some other business to the left. No indication of where the check in counter is located, which is down the hall to the right beyond a poor excuse of a sundry shop. The clerk had a name badge that said Econo Lodge. So...which is it??? Only one coffee cup in the room. I got two room keys, one of which wouldn't work. By the next morning the second key didn't work either. I tried to call the front desk from their phone in my room which has a white office label taped over Econo Lodge phone details with OYO Townhouse. The front desk hot button gives you a bad line beeping signal and so do the other hot buttons. I dialed the full phone number in it's entirely and got no answer for 40 minutes. I tried to call from my cell phone and still no answer for 18 minutes. Finally got someone on the line. Had another issue later and tried to call and, again, no answer for another 18 minutes. On a positive note, it was clean. Can't beat the price but, wow.

It was truly a depressing and creepy mess of a hotel. It is actually not the Econolodge but the…read moreCasper conference center. It might have at one point had several restaurants inside and a nice poolside bar, but all of that is closed. Because there are so many closed areas, and such an elaborate labyrinth of spooky hallways and a gigantic center atrium where the pool is (drained, of course), it would be a perfect setting for a horror movie. When I showed up at around 11:30 pm, there was no one at the front desk, and after ringing the clerk's private number he had listed at the counter, he came down and said he had been helping another guest with their room. Well then he put me in that very guest's room who had been moved, in the middle of covid! I walked into the room and that guest had left trash, had slept in the bed, and there was a large dark mystery stain on the floor. Plus the room was freezing, and the maid walked in on me and scared me awake before 9 AM with no do not disturb sign available. I had tried to contact the front desk clerk again but he was nowhere to be found. This place should definitely be closed and probably bulldozed, unless this strange, creepy property could be used in a horror movie. Stay away!!!!! And lastly, it's important to flag businesses that are deliberately misleading people...posting false pictures and information on 3rd party booking sites. A lot of other people have left scathing reviews of the place, and I think that booking.com is allowing them to pay in order to remove negative reviews.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was exceptionally at explaining the menu and making recommendations. The food was amazing. The presentation was excellent and serving size was large. Definitely got our money worth. My husband is already planning his next visit. Would highly recommend.

They've also changed their menu quite a few times since inception. First off it's a beautiful restaurant with a nice large parking lot and you'll be seated by a hostess on either the dining room side or the large bar/dining area on the other half of the restaurant. There's many large comfortable booths to sit in unless you want a table which there's plenty of too. Also high top tables for 4/6/8 available on the bar side or you can just sit at the very large bar that's three sided with 60 seats. The bar side is full of TVs. And generally has music videos as well as sports on. After getting seated by your hostess, expect you will get a great experience from your server as they take pride in training their staff very well here and I've never had a bad experience with a server in probably 20/25 visits here. The menu is a little all over the place now there are some interesting and tasty appetizers. The cheese logs and the fried green tomatoes seem to be most people's favorite appetizers. The chicken wings are pretty good though there are limited flavors available. They do an amazing happy hour menu with great appetizer deals as well as good drink deals if you have the opportunity to stop in during this time of day. I think where they shine is with their burgers. I've had some very delicious burgers there. I've also had good Italian type food with their rigatoni , manicotti and their Stromboli's. Their pizza used to be really excellent. And now it's a little hit and miss depending on which type you get. They have their own woodfired pizza Grill, which has the potential to make amazing crust. However, they tend to get ratios of cheese and meats a little off sometimes. The bison chili and the duck gumbo are both pretty good. It's not traditional Cajun gumbo but it's still a pretty delicious soup. I've had a few bad soups here, including the beer cheese and some of the other cheese soups, which were not completely cooked down and were gritty with flour base still noticeable. The fried fish is also a stand out dish that they do. And a lot of people really like their steaks and steak salad. Overall, this is a great place to bring your family or a large group of friends or even a elegant birthday party. You know you'll get taken really good care of and other than it's more on the expensive side you know exactly what you're gonna get every time highly recommended and if you're getting a cocktail, I recommend the huckleberry Mojito. Recommended.

My husband and I took a gander at the menu before getting there, but we wanted to double check to make sure we knew what we wanted. There are SO MANY choices! All sound amazing! I ALWAYS have to order fried okra to see if they get it right and Sanford's definitely does. The Momma Odie's chicken melt was such a spot hitter. The Parmesan garlic crust on the sourdough bread with the melted spinach dip, bacon, and chicken was the perfect balance of flavors. My husband LOVED his pants on fire burger. He said it was the perfect combination of buffalo ranch and melted bleu cheese crumbles with his burger patty. It was the first time he actually used a knife and fork to eat his burger. He got plain fries and those with the pickle were a nice finish. We ended our meal with huckleberry ice cream. It was just what was needed to complete the meal. We can't wait to come back again. Next time, I'm trying that andouille penne. Sidenote: Don't be rude...if you have a big party, like 10+, call and let them know. They ask for 20 minutes in advance. A party of 22 came in as we were about to leave and they didn't have a reservation. Don't be those people. Call first.

Google recommended this as a cool family friendly "must see" restaurant. We won't be back.
