Delicious! Pork belly skewers and brisket grilled cheeses with truffle. Yum. Absolutely recommend. Veteran owned and the family is amazing!

The service is friendly and their pizza trailer is supposed to open next week - these folks are putting in the work, and it's a pleasure to give them business. Also, the default on their credit card payment is "no tip" - you have to act affirmatively to add a tip. I always tip ($2 on $3.50 today), but these days (we've all seen the articles about the discomfort at these screens) it's really nice to see a business that isn't ramming it down the customer's throat. Great business.

I hit up the Gnomad crew for my Sunday morning jolt of starter fluid (aka coffee). Drink of choice was a 16 oz mocha at the $5 price point. Taste was high on the complexity scale with the usual coffee & chocolate flavors being joined by a posse of roasted nuttiness notes and, to my tongue, a very faint floral shading reminiscent of lavender at the finish. Either that or I need to get my taste buds recalibrated. Nonetheless, it was a cuppa caffeine that danced lively until it was all gone. The downside of the Gnomad Coffee truck is it's location in the hinterlands of Rio Rancho, on Cherry Road just a bit north of Northern Blvd. One of those "You might need a Boy Scout and a couple mules to get there" kind of places. Another hit is that, at this point in time, they haven't yet developed their in-house food service after abandoning their vendoring of Rebel Donuts as comestibles to accompany their bodacious coffee. So it's drinks only at present. The upside of the Gnomie crew is the Gnomie crew's friendly welcome & outgoing personality. Brandon was a kick to hang with on a crystal clear winter morning with about 30 hot air balloons festooning the sky. Great folks.

My dad grabbed the classic smash with a chicharron. My brother went with the 505 green chili burque smash. When I saw the other sandwiches on separate posters by the order window I was torn between the 505 or the Al Gueye Lucy. I asked the cashier which one they thought was better and they suggested the Al Guey Lucy smash. I said orale! Let's do it! We sat at the tables under the tent. It was nice shade for such a hot afternoon. The burgers were out hot n fresh! The Lucy was juicy with just the right amount of spice! It had a zesty kick you just can't forget. I absolutely loved it! My dad and brother enjoyed theirs as well. The fries reminded me of the fries at Bob's Burgers. They were really good! Overall it was a great experience! I'll definitely be returning! No mames! Si! That hot honey chicken is calling my name! Maybe I need a 505 for the appetizer hmm... lol!

Even though it is a food truck, it has a good seating space with good shade. The service was good, especially when the cook brought our food, personally. They were even concerned that our food was going to be too spicy . Speaking of the food, I ordered the Korean Chicken Boss and the Hellfire Crunch sandwiches with fries. The Korean was a bit tangy and a bit sweet with a good piece of perfectly breaded chicken. The Hellfire was a bit spicy but not overwhelming. Both were messy but it can be contained if you are skillful. The fries were crispy and quite good Overall, I was glad we finally found No Mames, as they made us feel quite welcomed and their food was quite good. Next time, those smash burgers will be on our list!
