Best BBQ in Albuquerque. Had the brisket plate last night at Marble downtown. Smoky, tender and delicious.

First visit for Saturday dinner Super nice folks take good…read morecare of you here Solid line to order but worth a wait for sure Chicharrone sticks, cooked to perfection...crunchy outer skin and juicy pork inside, best i have had in quite a while Burgers....outstanding. And get the beef tallow cooked fries, top shelf. The way fries should be cooked....beef fat ! But will say to staff...they were a bit heavy handed with the salt....you may want to go easier for most folks...customer can always add more The Nashville hot chicken sandwich i ordered.....was not as crispy as i had hoped and the spice took over the sandwich The slaw, pickles and bun didn't have a chance If you like high heat, go for it. But i will be ordering a burger next visit Will definitely be back, best food truck experience in a long time Super clean patio if you decide to eat here Definitely a 10/10 experience. No Mames rocks.

They responded really quickly and explained that they take precautions in the kitchen and that the chicken and french fries are cooked in dedicated fryers that do not contain gluten. We were really excited to give them a try! We went for dinner tonight, and they were pretty busy. The person taking our order was really nice. I let him know that I have a gluten allergy, and he made sure to mark it on our ticket. I ordered the gluten-free Nashville chicken sandwich with french fries, and my husband got the open-face Nashville with fries. Mine was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the gluten-free bun was actually really good, and the fries were great too. My husband really enjoyed his meal as well. They have a nice little area where you can sit and eat. While we were eating, the owner came out and checked on everyone to see how their food was. He was extremely friendly and genuinely seemed happy that we enjoyed everything. We had such a great experience, this is definitely a place we'll be going back to!

I had high hopes of this place after hearing it was the best Cajun food in the city. (Not that this…read moreis hard to do in a city like Albuquerque, but i did work for 5 years at Copeland's and just got back from a trip to NOLA.) And yes, the food was delicious, but good lord, I haven't had this bad of service since I can remember. I think the younger girls working were related to the woman cooking, but I implore you... take The Girl in the Pink Shirt off of the register. I asked if the food truck was still open and she just stared at me. I asked if the shrimp platter included fries and she just sort of rolled her eyes upward and barely answered. I paid and she just left the register. I waited a minute or two and had to get her attention to ask whether I should return to pick it up, if I should get a number placard, etc. And on top of that, she was consistently you visibly arguing with the others in the truck every time I was up there. Like, girl. You are in a public-facing position of service. Act like it or don't do it. Furthermore, I paid for my food at 6:37pm. (I literally checked my credit card.) By 7:18, when I went to check on the status of my order, I was told by the older woman/owner she "had the fries ready and was fixin' to drop the shrimp." Why it took 41 minutes to drop some fried shrimp is beyond me, but at 7:21 I finally had my food after going up to the window two more times to inquire, while juggling a grumpy two year old in my car because all my friends had cashed out and already left. Needless to say, I won't be back for a $20 dish that took almost an hour to make on a random Tuesday night, though I do hope they spend some time adjusting their systems and working to improve guest satisfaction because they could easily corner the market on Cajun food in Albuquerque.

Great Cajun food for ABQ. Batter for fried food is seasoned and flavorful. Service is great. Owners…read moreare nice and friendly!

Theo's operating in food truck mode only now. He mentioned being at the yellow & blue HappyDaze Cannabis building across from the Maverik gas station on Jefferson St NE at junction of I-25 and Jefferson. I'm unsure of what days & hours. Give him a call to get the "who, what, when, where, why, & how" for his location on any given day. However, I must say that Nomad BBQ is still providing *excellent* Texas style BBQ of exceptional tastiness at very economical prices, given the high quality of the food. If you see their truck anywhere around town, stop in, chow down, and smile ... smile ... smile ... at all the wondrous gustatorial nirvana you've just indulged in. Hands down, killer good BBQ! Everything I said in my previous review still stands. Of special note, besides the extremely good food, is the gregarious, outgoing, and hyper friendly personality that positively shines out of Mr Theo. One of the most convivial food vendors in town. Period!

I personally found that the price/value for the amount and quality of food Nomad's bbq provides is well worth it. I had a pulled pork sandwich (plus a bit of brisket and the 2 sides that I couldn't resist trying to save for my next meal) and thought the meat was smokey, jiving and so scrumptious...and this is coming from someone who normally doesn't eat so much meat like myself! Overall, I really like that Theo seems passionate about making the food that he serves. Plus, it doesn't hurt that this bbq type of food tastes so good..and is so rare to find ABQ, too.

The Cebaza was tender and delicious as well. They give you red and green sauce and the green was by far our favorite, adds just the perfect flavor. We ate inside "The Bus" and it has a cool vibe, they did a good job providing a few booths so you can eat immediately and not have to eat in your car. Since their business name includes "taco" I had to try them out. I have to say that their tacos are very good with my favorite being the tripitas. I was also curious about their burgers since those seem to be an item that people get. I ordered the monster burger which is a Mexican style burger loaded with all kinds of goodies including winnies and ham. My description of it doesn't do it justice so take a look at my pics. Their tacos are very good but you also need to try one of their burgers, especially if you have a monster appetite.
