Parsons Plumbing & Heating - Wayne Parsons Master Plumber

    Parsons Plumbing & Heating

    (13 reviews)

Wayne Parsons is the "Pipe Whisperer"!…read more Not only did Wayne correctly repair everything we asked, but he showed us that the plumbing system was at risk because of a required anti-backflow fitting installed indoors. We have lots of books and other items in the basement that would be ruined if the basement flooded. The risk is sudden high pressures which could lead to leaks at the water heater. He convinced us to have him install a "potable water expansion tank." I didn't know there was such a thing. To our surprise, the water supply now works much better than it used to: volume and pressure have increased. No longer do we have to run the upstairs sink for 75 seconds before hot water arrives. I don't know if it was the tank or whether Wayne just whispered to the plumbing system to behave itself, but I think of him every time I use the shower or the upstairs sinks. It works like new. Other things were unexpected too. One of our outdoor faucets was behind drywall. I expected that a plumber would saw open the drywall, do the repair, and be done with it. Wayne got a new piece of drywall and put it in himself. It didn't take long and it makes life simpler for us. I learned something else, watching him. I always thought clogged sinks were caused by traps building up material. Not true. Our clogs were above the traps. I think Wayne knows the oddities of plumbing systems in Montgomery and Bucks counties because he has a lot of experience working hereabouts and knows how to make use of his experience. Wayne arrived when he said he would, and there were none of the hassles one sometimes encounters with people in the building trades. He does the work himself, explains what he is doing, and does not draw things out unnecessarily.

Wayne is knowledgeable, friendly and has a good sense of humor. He is transparent with his services…read moreand pricing and will give accurate timelines alongside quotes. Quality products and local expertise.

Things to be concerned about: (1) Unnecesary hours added to job by using part time plumber use on…read morejob to accomodate using him ,,,maybe $300 in additional charges (2) took copper piping and brass fittings from demolition work for personal gain when insistant on charging for every little supply need ...... another couple hundred dollars (3) I had to perform work to correct some installation mistakes ( create allowances for pipe clearences in wall and enable access door to close bc handles turned wrong way and lastly professionalism or lack there off made my daughter cry when attacked for tryong to share insight to job. These are not punch list issues but rather just not completing the job right, I would not recommend using even if trying to support local trades.

RUN! Don't hesitate calling another Plumber. TRY R.K., Roto-Rooter ANYONE ELSE! 3 visits, $1000…read moreand toilet still not working. THEY MADE IT WORSE! Now leaking in front of toilet, and broke our pop up, BILLING US for extra time/parts to fix what THEY BROKE. I found the Son and helper (an hr. after plumber dad left) playing flashlight games! Inspecting our toilet looking for hairline cracks in the finish with flashlights. I asked if they snaked the line. NO! THEY CAULKED FRONT OF TOILET SO WE CANT SEE ANY LEAKS! 3rd visit snaked the toilet ONLY. Son & helper can't locate reason of leak. I asked why there wasn't a wax ring. Son says NO, it doesn't need it. Water runs downhill. Now, they caused a leak into the basement, never cleaning it up. 4TH CALL: IT WILL COST ANOTHER $500 Video discovery fee PLUS additional $$$ TO FIX WHAT WE FIND! They had cut 2 waste pipes and NEVER RAN A SNAKE. KNOWING THERE WAS A CLOG. The Reason for our call! GAVE UP ON THEM AND their flashlite games. Called Roto-Rooter. Another $1,200, but fixed in 1 visit!
