The day of installation they came on time and worked tirelessly for most of the day only breaking for lunch. Again, we had more questions all answered with ease and respect. We have four different systems at this place, a gas heater in garage, Mitsubishi cassette above the garage, heat pump, and a geo-thermal system. Finding someone who is able to deal with all those at once hasn't been easy. We found one company, but then he ghosted us because he had staffing issues. Kurt showed up for a fall check-up. First time here. And he found a filter in an exchanger/handler that all 3 previous HVAC people missed. The place had been vacant for 5 years before we bought it 2 years ago and it clearly hadn't been changed in all that time. We had an airflow issue on the second floor, and this filter was the 2nd stop up from the basement. All the prior companies had looked at the same piece of equipment and not one of them noticed there was a filter to be changed. Until Kurt. It was so filthy and clogged it's no wonder we had an air flow problem. That alone gets DiBiase 5 stars. But we've also used them before at our last property and they were equally knowledgeable, polite, educational, and effective. And they take thorough notes, pictures, and truly build a file on your property which says they know about relationship management and are in it for the the long haul. I'm a tough sell, but I'm sold on DiBiase.

After the gas line was turned on, a gas leak occurred, requiring PECO to replace parts on the gas meter. Based on the PECO technicians' experience, they indicated that opening a gas valve too quickly can sometimes contribute to a gas leak. On the other hand, DiBiase explained that, in their view, the issue was not related to how the gas was turned back on but rather to the age of the PECO meter, which they believe would have failed regardless. To the company's credit, they discussed the situation with me and provided an additional year of free maintenance. While I appreciate their response and the added maintenance, I'm not convinced the installation wasn't a contributing factor. I hope they review their installation procedures to help prevent this type of issue from happening to future customers.

Prior to retiring, I managed high-rise office buildings in different parts of the country, with millions of $ in annual spend on contractors, allowing me to engage the best contractors in the business. I bid my personal work to several well regarded local contractors, whom I vetted prior to inviting then to bid. Mourar's pricing was fair and reasonable, they offered only superior equipment, without attempting to "upgrade" me to things which added little value. The workmanship and work habits of the crew were second to none. I also learned that the company was recently bought by a long term employee, who personally supervised the work. The crew expressed obvious pleasure in an improved working environment, anticipating a long relationship with the experienced leadership.
