It always gives me a fuzzy feeling to look at the displays in the window. As for the inventory, it's fantastic. There are a variety of genres and media formats available, and, yes, there are comics. I appreciate how eccentric some of the items are, which included an album from Evelyn Evelyn (something I thought not possible). The staff is very pleasant, but they will become rightfully upset if you plan to loiter (which has become/is an issue). I fell victim to this as a kid, mostly because the store is seriously friggin' cool.

Seems like nothing can get done or put away due to old men making up most of the staff. Since most of the comics are covered and inaccessible you're left to stare at heavy opened boxes that should've been put up 6 months ago. But they scold you for looking through them and will not sell them to you and will treat you like you're opening a prerelease even if the comic came out in July! Terrible customer service from the older men and they take their smoke breaks at the entrance. The only nice employe is a younger woman. Figurines are bootleg, nothing with official seals but will range 200+ dollars! INSANELY overpriced pokemon cards, scalper pricing!!! Not a safe space for women, I will not be returning.

They have the greatest free comic book day around.  It was amazing.  I would see kids and families running to the store to attend the event in Catonsville. 9.  Andy is a genius at promotion.  He will come up with cool ideas to engage the customers.  There are Batman days, Star War days, etc.  And the annual Cosmic Comix Tournament.  (There was the traditional super-hero March Madness tournament, the sidekicks tournament, the super pets tournament, etc.) 8. Other stores only have sales Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving.  This store has actual sales. 7. They got a Bat pole.  Need I say more. 6. They please their customers.  I've been with the store since DC's Zero Hour event.  (That's 1994 for you non-geeks.)  And they made me a subscriber and I'm notorious noncommittal. 5. They know their books. 4. The customers like the store and have become friends through the store.  Rusty used to feature a Cosmic Comix podcast with his customers. 3. This time around Was willing to to empty my wallet just to get a running truck again before my sons birthday, with the intention not only to fix the truck but to also upgrade. 3 days go by was asked for things that could have VERY easily been looked up online (manual for truck, which is in full Japanese) so online pdf would have made much more sense anyway? and in the end , was left in the dark for 3 weeks before I had to call and was told "we can't find the parts online" when I already had already located them online within minutes of the phone call being over. I then picked the truck up , asked again the issue with the parts not being able to be located and they basically had no answer for me other than "we couldn't find them online". It could have been a simple solution "do you think maybe you could source the parts for us" instead I got no call or anything, when that would have been totally okay and I could have continued to give them more things to upgrade on the truck. I guess more money saved in my pocket.. The older man who runs the store is kind but the other staff need an attitude check. I wouldn't say stay away from this place but just proceed with caution.
