I had to asked multiple times for a bag to wrap around one of the plants I bought. The rude employee wouldn't leave me alone, she keep trying to get some kind of reaction to me. It felt like she was singling me out for some reason, so I tried to ignore her. I just wanted to pay for my items and leave. While I was out in the parking lot loading up my car, she told me I wasn't welcomed back to shop here anymore. I have spent somewhere in the range of $700 at this greenhouse this year. Normally I love shopping here, but not anymore. Thanks giving me an excuse not to shop in Portage anymore. The whole northside of that town looks like it was designed by a drunk.

Everything here is individually priced and men's and women's pants and jeans are $6.50. If you find your way to the back room, you'll see a treasure trove of furniture, sporting goods, and glassware. The quality of the items on sale here are in surprisingly much nicer condition than what you would find at your average Goodwill. As far as thrift stores go, this is as good as it gets. The place is jammed with surplus stuff including food items (definitely check the expiration dates!), kitchen supplies, tools, fixtures, nuts, bolts, toys, gadgets, electronics, old industrial equipment, gas masks, and once according to legend - coffins! We always spend at least a good 30 minutes wandering around and come away with some treasures that we really don't need. A fun stop!

The guy running the counter just added up the purchase in his head. Nice guy. I bought knitting needles and he let me know they're getting in yarn in a week or two. If you pay cash you get a discount. Don't miss the bulk cheese fridge just by the door. Three stars since I didn't see much I actually wanted to purchase, but if you're driving by this is definitely worth a stop.

We had a horrible experience. Could go on for pages and pages. Have since this learned of others…read morewith just as bad of experiences with him. We had a drawing already complete for him to bid on. Did not deliver what was bid - cut several corners. He did not deliver what he bid (41" cabinets vs. 42" cabinets) but still wanted to charge us for 42 inch. Installation was a third party, they were given no instructions. Installed the west wall wrong. The 41" cabinets were installed to the ceiling so we are an inch higher to reach the shelves than we should be. They admitted later that they learned they should have been installed an inch lower but Enos told them to leave it. Quality is poor - Stain and seal coating as well as quality of sliding shelves and lazy susan. When questioned about issues said "Well I can try and fix it". My husband said get him out before he makes it worse. Enos tried to charge us for his errors but we did not pay. He also did not calculate taxes correctly. Started to file a complaint with the state but learned he was put in jail for another issue. Sounds like he might be going away for a while with those charges so let it go.

After much deliberation we found the one we wanted and purchased the floor model at a reasonable price. They not only offered free delivery, they took the old one! That was a huge selling point! The delivery guys not only were on time, they were a bit early! They were professional, and very good at what they did. In a matter of about 20 minutes they had the old couch out into the truck and the new one delivered. We high;y recommend Portage Furniture!
