Food was decent, and sitting by the lake was nice. We were on our way from Atlanta to Charlotte and just stopped for an early dinner. The service was awful. We waited a long time for our food, and then I ordered something to drink with my meal, but she never came. Then another server came out later and asked if we were good, and I told her I had ordered something to drink but it never came. Still no one brought my drink. There were not even that many people there. After waiting for her to bring checks, she never came to get our payment. We had to ask repeatedly for things and we ended up having to go in and ring out at the bar, and watched our server taking selfies with a guy at the end of the bar. I don't recommend it. There was no apology for the bad service and not returning to our table. I typically tip really well and try to empathize with servers - they have a hard job. Not today. We won't stop here again. read more
