This is a small family ran restaurants that specialize in fried seafood... this is a go too when visiting this area for Hot, FRESH and SEASONED food... Pricing is very reasonable and the portions are large... If wanting to try something new, try the cajun grits... this pairs well with the fried seafood... The atmosphere is casual and they have a lovely outdoor seating area if you want some fresh air.. After dining take a stroll around the old time square to work off those extra calories.... Did I mention.... To try their homemade desserts as well... This is a must try...

This restaurant has something for everyone. Salads, appetizers, Gyros, Italian, Seafood, Sandwiches, southern favorites and desserts. We both had Gyros which come with fries and coleslaw. The fries were in the top three of the best fries I have ever had! The coleslaw was also good, albeit a bit sweet. Both Gyros were good as well (lamb and chicken). Great service and great food, a winning combination. Pay cash to save 4%.

They offer lots fried food, burgers, deli sandwiches and salads. Hubby ordered a salad, and I ordered a burger, no bun (gluten intolerant). I felt that his salad was better than my burger, but maybe that's because I didn't have a bun, and the burger seemed dry and somewhat flavorless. Hubby's summation of the food: It was okay, for fast food.

The food is served buffet-style and the offerings are Southern home cooking. The star of the show is the fried catfish, which on my recent visit felt like it melted in my mouth. Chicken, country ham tilapia, and Brunswick stew are among other offerings. There are also desserts. My only complaint on our recent visit was that the Brunswick stew was only lukewarm. On the night we visited, there was a bluegrass band for entertainment, but ambiance is sparse. This is a place that you come to eat, not to stare at the walls. Service is friendly, but being a buffet place, there isn't a lot of interaction aside from drinks and refills.
