I was told the food is made fresh, never frozen, and you can absolutely tell. I eat salads with grilled chicken pretty regularly, and this was honestly the best chicken I can remember having on a salad. It was that good. The service was great, too. I have nothing against using frozen biscuits as many of them are really delicious. However this biscuit must have suffered from a bit of freezer burn during storage, making it drier and crumblier than it should be while also retaining that frozen taste. The sausage gravy was not great; thinner than one normally expects it to be and lacking in that typical, complex flavor that comes from a roux made with sausage grease and flour. All that said, I would not rule out trying this place again to see if something else on the menu is better, but I cannot recommend the sausage and gravy.
