This was the worst experience of my life in buying something for Xmas. The staff was a complete racist a$$ who I wouldn't give water to in a blazing hot desert. Please avoid at all cost. I was going to spend atleast $680 total, & decided I didn't want the playstation. I was going to purchase everything else, & he hit me with store restocking fee with cost $180 total????????? No where in the store or receipt does it state this. There prices are fixed to fit what every they say it is. Then when I was obviously upset at this, I was threatened with the police being called if I didn't leave???? I told them I wasn't leaving without anything, & they finally gave me 2nd gen ipod that was total crap & DVD movies NO one wants any more. No to mention he stated the last guy who got upset went to jail, & I though so this happens on a regular???? He said when they look like you???? I'm Black, so I'm definetely assuming he meant Black guys. THERE ARE NO POLICY SIGNS ANYWHERE NOR ON YOUR RECIEPT, & IF YOU PUT MONEY DOWN ON SOMETHING TO PICK UP LATER-MAKE SURE YOU GET IT CAUSE IF YOU DON'T YOU LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY PERIOD. Honestly I would avoid them all together, & try some of the other shops in Moreno Valley. Better prices, way better attitudes. Plus they know how to treat a CUSTOMER with respect. Larry, sorry for your experience with us here at popular pawn I personally look up specs on everything we sell to assure the customer they are getting what they are looking for. If you brought us the speakers you wanted to run would have been the best so we can hook it all up in the store before your purchase. We try to make all our customers happy by giving them the option you were given to exchange the item you were unhappy with even though it says on our receipt no refunds. As far as the camera, I'm not sure what your speaking about if you wanted a battery I would look up the item and find the correct battery you would need. If you wanted I'd even order the battery if you wanted me to or tell you where you can get it. Sorry if the pictures were unpleasant and sometimes we do leave personal data on items in case the customer who got the loan wants to purchase the item back from the store and wanted their pictures they had on the camera. I agree you are correct they should have been erased before it was sold to you. In the future I hope you give us the opportunity to show you why we beat our competitors in the area with our customer service and the information about the items we sell used in the future. This is a great pawn shop! They have a very good selection of items. You can get anything from tools, video games, cameras and more. I pawned something today and they gave us a pretty good price for it. I'm definitely going to come back here and purchase some stuff!
