Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

I had to scrape plenty off the bun with an extra straw I grabbed. I'm pretty sure the burger was a frozen patty; not hand made. Very confusing because the owner's burger-patty photos look amazing. But the one I got was nothing like those photos. Curly fries were identical to Arby's. Really good. Definitely hot & fresh. Highlight of everything was the Coffee Walnut Shake. It was AWESOME. Made with real ice cream. I've never had walnuts in a shake; and definitely loved it.

The sauce was delicious, the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the bun was perfectly toasted. But the real showstopper was the fries. If you're a fan of fries, this place serves some of the best I've had in a long time. They were crispy and crunchy on the outside, perfectly tender on the inside, and absolutely packed with flavor. The restaurant also has a bar area that's a great spot for travelers staying at the hotel to meet, relax, and mingle. The staff was friendly and generally attentive. I will say that there were a few longer stretches between check-ins. We visited twice--once with a small group of three and again the following night with a group of about twenty--and both times our drink refills were a little slow. That said, the food arrived quickly, was served hot, and was well worth the wait. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try, especially if you're craving a great chicken sandwich and exceptional fries.

Poor customer service at Shorewood venue…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel people should know about our experience. The biggest issue wasn't the venue itself--it was the way we were treated by the owner and management. We booked an event for my Moms surprise 80th birthday party. Everything was good until it came to the decorations. Instead of being professional and respectful we received the total opposite in front of all our guests. The owner Chris was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of treating us with respect as paying customers, he made us feel like we were an inconvenience. The way he spoke to us and handled the situation was completely unacceptable. A venue can have a nice space, but customer service is what people remember, and this experience left a lasting negative impression. I would not recommend booking an event here if you expect to be treated with courtesy and professionalism. -- at Corrigan's Pub.

Nottt a favourite. My sister and I pulled up last year--I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Wrap and we…read moreshared the Smoked Chicken + Artichoke Dip and the cheese curds. It ended up being a massive bummer! For the wrap, I really do hate sounding so harsh, but I don't know how else to put it other than it was one of the worst things I've had. It was soggy, cold, and smelled--not sure about the taste since I could barely taste anything except the sauce--almost rancid! I have NEVER had Buffalo sauce taste like that before! And my lettuce was super soggy and super yellow with some browning, past the regular texture + colour for this type of lettuce. I had many more pieces, but I was so in shock from the wrap that I genuinely didn't take any photos. I genuinely felt ill and I couldn't come close to finishing it--and neither could my sister when she tried to help! The dip was OK, but again, it was cold and rather tasteless. We did end up finishing it, but it wasn't generally noteworthy. It was the best out of the three items we tried, though! The cheese curds were either barely cooked and stale or very overcooked and chilled--the cheese was hard, rubbery, and really cold! They were seasoned nicely though, so we ate enough of it--especially my sister who found some redeeming factors within them! The sauce helped! Oddly enough, we were basically the only people inside, so I'm not sure what went so wrong! There was a small post-funeral or celebration of life being hosted outside (I think???? Everyone in that area wore black/dark formal clothing and looked upset), so maybe all the care went to them?? I'm not sure how it could've really been a "bad day" since it was pretty well staffed and seemingly little stress, but I'm giving a benefit of the doubt if that's my ignorance!! The employees were so sweet and bubbly, though! Interior was cute and super lively, but EXTREMELY cold LOL. Maybe that's why our food was frigid... Redeeming points: The water tasted good!! Not much more to say, just pretty disappointed! I've heard people really like it, even people I know personally, but I really cannot think about it much without feeling ill! I wish I was joking!! Plus, my sister was returning after visiting with our father, where she ordered a Reuben which was overall OK, but not really worth the price (as she reports!). Really unfortunate! Not sure if we will be returning, but we really did appreciate the kind servers and awesome environment!
