Great to stumble upon Molly & George on Yelp!…read more I was doing a search to find a new groomer for our posh pensioner Tillie. She was in bad need of a manicure and bath, and I was just sort of over the vibe at my previous groomer (Groom Dog City). After reading the bio on M&G's Yelp page I figured it would be good choice and a nice walk up to London Fields on a weekend morning. I easily made an appointment via email. I brought her in on Sunday at 10am, she got the requisite bath and brushing and nail trim and I picked her up about 45 minutes later (even snuck in a tasty breakfast nearby at Bouchon Fourchette)!. For the low price of 20 quid! A great deal in my opinion. It's a location under a railway arch near London Fields, just behind Hackney Road. The space is fresh and bright. Super simple, she looked great when done, the woman was friendly and we were on our way to enjoy a nice walk in London Fields. Can't beat that. It gives me a great excuse to visit one of my favorite areas of London as well. 2 paws up for Molly & George - we'll be back.

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR LONG HAIRED DOG!…read more I brought my baby Chow Chow in, showed a picture of my dog and asked for her hair to be cut SHORTER, with a full groom service, which to my understanding would be: wash, blowout, ear cleaning, nails clipping, etc. Came back in 2 hours with my chow SHAVED down. The groomer told me that I ASKED for this. Either in her 21 years of experience, which she kept repeating to us, she has never groomed a chow chow, or she doesn't knows the difference between cutting and shaving a dog. With NO APOLOGY from the groomer, I paid £90 to the awful job, left and came home with tears. This could have been a miscommunication, since the groomer was adamant that "you asked for this". Me and my husband are dog owners since we were children, we have groomed our baby chow chow in London and in Dubai for years, and never once have I left a groomer with such bad feeling.

Travelled here late after work just to get some snails. I left with no snails. Not becuase of lack…read moreof snails. But lack of no one coming to help. The employee in the aquarium area was serving someone so I patiently waited 15 minutes and then thye went to the till. I waited another 15 minutes and no one came back. The staff were all at the front of the store talking and the employee on tills was sat on the floor behind the counter as I was leaving. I gave up and couldnt be bothered to ask for help as they were clearly all ready for the shop to be closing. Should they have had amazing snails and fish I may have tried harder, but every tank I checked at least one dead fish. So I gave up and left.

I'm not meant to be in a pet shop! I have no pets! But since this shop popped up, I have wondered…read moreif there any bunnies in here. Or whether or not it was just boring boring leads and dog bowls. So one day I finally popped in to bunny hunt. Yay! Look at them in that photo. All cute and hoppy. Wiggly little noses. I nearly came home with a grey one. My housemates would have been maaaaad. There are actually loads of animals in here. Skittish little hamsters, funny looking Guinea pigs, animals that need adopting (heartbreaking, with notes written by eight year olds). It's a big shop, so there's boring fish and slippery snakes too, but I spent a good 15 minutes playing with the bunnies. Apparently they sometimes have kittens too. I would have definitely bought one of them home. I don't have much self control. As we've established that I don't have pets and I'm just a weird bunny-watcher, I can't give them five stars. Don't know if the stuff they sell is over priced, or if it's any good. But their animal looked happy. The same couldn't be said about the staff, who despite getting to play with bunnies on their lunch break didn't crack a smile once. Still, come here, play with rabbits, then go about your day a little bit more smiley.
