This Popeyes has good food, it's decently cleanly, and fairly priced. The main problem with this particular store is that the staff is pretty slow. On two separate occasions I've gone, someone behind the counter(who I assume to be the manager) was loudly berating their staff in front of us. This of course was a problem and we swiftly made for the exit. I'd rather make a drive out of town to another Popeyes than deal with that again. read more

If I could I would give a 0star review, I just left this location after my husband and I ordered a spicy two piece meal for him and a spicy three piece tender me We were told there would be a wait for an extra biscuit so we declined but we later noticed we were still charged for it. We never received our drinks we paid for. Received every sauce but the ones we requested (honey and ranch), she also cut off my husband when he was ordering his drink trying to rush through the process. I tried calling the location and of course there was no answer... I also need to add that after I tried my tenders they just ..didn't taste right; so instead of driving all the way back we are unfortunately letting this just be a lesson and never going back. I truly regret not checking reviews prior to ... read more

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Chicken Wings Near Me - Ruston, Louisiana

Ordered food at 8 PM paid. Went to pick it up at 8:30 PM and was told that they were closing and they could not cook anything. And online says they're supposed to be open till 10 PM. Who closes at 8:30? And why even accept the order in the first place then.. read more

I'm not sure how they are still open. Honestly the customer service is horrendous. If you order 3 items and it comes out on time without having to pull forward, it would be a miracle. So unfortunate because the food is good. read more

I walked in here on the day after Christmas near closing time. I immediately greeted the cashier and she was busy eating at one of the tables. She said "I will be right with you". Fast forward...I received my order with cold and hard chicken tenders, oddly sweetened fries, and a cold water. The best part of the Popeye's meal was the cold water. I tried to contact Popeye's directly but there were so many hurdles to contacting the company, e.g. you need to have a receipt. Customer service is non-existent. There are too many options for chicken tenders to patronize this Popeyes. read more

Management is not kind and the workers are even worse, the management supports them being rude to customers I suppose since it's so normalized. Ive been in the area for three years and everytime I went they messed up my food, forgot something or didn't have it. There is no reason why Ruston allows this behavior in their city, it is not classy, very ratchet, and extremely ghetto honestly! I wasn't going to make this review until I just left and I felt like they were just attempting to cause a hassle for no reason.. There is a better Popeyes in Ruston, do not go here, and please do not use the app here because everything you want will be out by the time you arrive. read more

The Popeyes location of California is by far the worst location for customer service. I placed an order online @ 3:46pm and realized at 3:50pm that I did not select 50/50 for 12 pieces of chicken that cost me $31.00. I called the store and the person that answered the phone said that she bagged my order and taped it up so she could not replace six pieces of chicken that was still at the store. Thank you Popeyes for the customer service and I assure that I will not return to that location. The location on Farmerville Hsy will be my selected location going forward. read more

the food is good, but the service is not. i have gone multiple times in the past month or so, and every time i have gone the workers have been so rude. groaning taking my order, slamming the window, etc. when i ask what the total was they mumble it to me and roll their eyes.... like you get paid to do this... do better. read more

This location hardly had anything in stock, and the employees were rude. My friend's chicken tender was pink. The food was hard & cold, even my pink lemonade was nasty. 0/10 do not recommend. The inside of the establishment was closed so we had to go through the drive-thru. Highly disappointed. read more

Baddddddddddd service!!!!!in this time of Corona if you don't wanna go to work and don't wanna get paid, sit at home and don't have money or food. Why go to work and not help people properly. This lady did not have any patience nor manners.she kept yelling on the intercom.Half of our order she rushed us to the counter to pay, when we wanted to add stuff she told us to go back in the drive true line.so we got back in line, ordered again and she did the same thing again.Half of our order was wrong! How annoying .she messed the order up!!! read more

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Where does my order say rice?the chicken I ordered was spicy, she put in mild,no straw, cold fries!never comming here again!!!! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Ruston, Louisiana

Without a doubt one of the worst food establishments I've ever been at in my life. How you going to tell me at 30 Minutes to close your cleaning grease out and can't make me shrimp. Are you serious? This is a constant battle with them they never have anything cooked. It's in a prime spot so I hope they go out of business soon and open a southern classic there. Bojangles going to run them out when they get her anyhow. It's ridiculous and the staff are rude read more

Pulled in on a Sunday evening there were 3 people in front of us and 2 behind us. I get to the speaker, order the 14 piece family mean. He asked "original or spicy?" Of course I want spicy... long pause, "I'm sorry ma'am we are out of spicy, is original okay?" I said yes and start ordering my side. I was interrupted saying they are out of everything but fries and red beans and rice. ‍ I say "ok, I'll take just the chicken." It's getting late, my husband and I had been working most of the day, and most businesses were closing. The person on the other end of the speak then says "maam it looks like we are out of chicken." I look up to see that the vehicles in front of me were leaving without their food. If they were out before I ordered; because clearly no one in front of me got their food; why didn't they say that when I first pulled up? It was 17 minutes to closing. Were they really out or did they want to go home? ‍ this is the second time I've tried this location so needless to say, I won't be going back. read more

We were traveling from Mississippi back to Texas and made a stop. We pulled through the drive through and there was no menu...so, how do you order?!? We figured it out. Employees sounded like they could have been anywhere else. No masks The service was horrible, chicken old, biscuits hard and cold. BEWARE! Don't go here if you are passing through. read more

Literally the worst Popeyes I've ever been to. After my last visit, I got home abs found out that the whole meal was old, cold, and incorrect. Deceived to give them a second chance today and it was even worse. Ordered a classic chicken sandwich with no pickles and was told that the sandwich already had pickles. That should have been a sign then that the sandwiches were prepaid. Got home and took the sandwich out of the bag and all of the skin completely fell off of it. OLD! read more

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - a person holding a sandwich - Chicken Wings Near Me - Ruston, Louisiana

It took 15 minutes in drive through before I could place an order. I ordered 2 piece reg with red beans and rice as my side. Did not check the box; got to the hotel to find French fries (cold) and I don't know what you have done to your biscuits. They used to be so good. It had been several months since I went to Popeyes( in another city). But there did not get what I ordered. Don't plan on giving Popeyes any more business. read more

Honestly the crappiest Popeyes I've ever been to. The works are ratchet, rude, and impolite. They don't smile, say thank you, or treat you nicely. They rush you and treat you like you are slow and you're supposed to know everything about the food. I'd rather drive to Monroe and get Popeyes there than here. It sucks that this is what the management accepts as southern hospitality. The place is overall unclean and the workers could use a lesson on soft skills. One night I went through the drive through and the lady said "On god hurry up" and I just left. read more

The staff is very rude and unprofessional. When I placed my order I emphasized a FRESH chicken sandwich very kindly. When I received my sandwich it was very cold. I drove back around and politely asked if they can make me a fresh one because I was headed to work and there's no way I can eat that much meat cold . Instead of providing quality service (or refrying it just to heat it up) they just refunded me my money. I will never eat at this Popeyes again especially if me wanting FRESH food is going to be a problem at a FOOD establishment. read more

I wonder if the franchise owner pays attention to the reviews. Service, and the attitude of the staff at the Ruston Popeyes had been terrible for years , and nothing has changed in 2021.This is the worst Popeyes location. The staff are too rude. Very unhappy customer read more

i went to this popeyes to eat GOOD because it's in the Louisiana right? and that's where popeyes was born and raised but, no that's not what happened AT ALL this popeyes was one of the worst experience in a popeyes ever now let me start with number 1 THEY DIDINT HAVE HALF THE MENU because they ran out and surprisingly can't get more food? and second, The lady that was talking to me through the drive through was un polite and GHETTO like respect the customers because we are paying you. and it took so long for them to prepare the food but besides that this food was bussin bussin respectfully read more

This Popeye's is always slow. Staff doesn't seem to care. Had orders repeated to me correctly, and gotten wrong food. Only reason I go back is the biscuits. Overpriced. Can get same amount of food cheaper elsewhere. read more

The service was terrible! They were very discombobulated and there was no order. Also the workers we very slow!

I have not had Popeyes in maybe 20 years, so I was excited when I saw there was one in Ruston where I am visiting. I went through the drive thru - to take food back to the hotel. The food was okay - fast food. However, no napkins for takeout; only 2 of the three meals that had side dishes had plasticware to use to eat the sides. It is had to eat coke slaw, rice, and mashed potatoes without utensils. Finally, I ordered dessert to share - and it was not placed in the bag. We tried to call the restaurant- the phone options were manager or corporate. The manager line was message only - and we could not leave a message because it was full. Called again to talk to corporate- they were closed - call back during business hours. My advice - double check everything and don't leave until you are sure it is correct. read more

I love this Popeyes! Every time I go there the staff is amazing. They are extremely happy and always have smiles on their faces. The workers seem genuinely happy to be working. It is very refreshing! I have also never had a problem with my order. If anything, they go above and beyond. On more than one occasion I have ordered the chicken tender meal, and when one of the tenders was below average size they threw another one in there for me! They also don't skimp on your dipping sauces. The best Popeyes that I have visited to date! read more
