Ok, I'm late to the game. Yes, I've known about the Spicy Chicken Sandwich since it came out....who doesn't? BUT I never had one!!1 So today I was giving platelets at Lifestream Blood Bank and needed some food before my platelet draw. I walked in and told the manager I had never had one and to please make a fresh one for me. He told me it would take 7-8 mins but got it done in 5. OMGOOODNESSSS! It was huge, tasty, steaming fresh and so good! I have no idea why people give this location low stars except they must be ignorant people. The service was GREAT (props to that manager) and the food rocked. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had from a fast food joint period...way better than Chic-fi-a. I'll be back next time I give platelets. read more

I understood Popeyes has a bad wrap with customer service and food quality but this place honestly not that bad. Food was hot service was ok

Popeyes is my favorite place to go to for chicken tenders. Unfortunately I came to this location today and my tenders were old and cold. Not sure what happened here but it seems that this location has a reputation for poor quality. I should've checked here before coming but oh well it is what it is. read more

Current Review: 6/2018 3 stars due to their side dishes containers NEVER full Spent $20 on two small mashed potatoes, large fries, large Mac n cheese, large soda, and 3 biscuits! Frustrating that their side dishes are always underwhelming on portion. Unless I remember to say specifically, please make sure the side dish is filled to the brim, they end up like in the photos. For how pricey Popeyes is, I feel like I am being short changed when I get side dishes (only) and the portions are not full in the container. Previous Review: 3/2018 4 stars I usually receive really great service and advice on the menu. Newbie to Popeye's and already a fan! This place is packed every time I've been by here. Staff here is of nice. I go for their original fried chicken (crispier than the spicy fried chicken). French Fries are THE BEST!!! I'm not even a fan of Fries, but I have to get them when I treat myself to this place. Favorite sides are the jambalaya rice, red bean and rice, and mashed potatoes with EXTRA gravy. Sauces I'd recommend are sweet heat and blackened ranch. Their biscuits grew on me over time. KFC still has better biscuits, but these are tasty once I got accustomed to them. My only complaint here is that they never fill their side dishes to the brim like KFC. The last couple times though, it's even more annoying as they seem to really skimp out on the large side. Photo shows the large mac'n cheese I opened first once I got home. I'm used to the small sides not always being full, but I really didn't expect it with a large side. It was barely half full. I'll show the staff the images when I revisit I'm sure, but this was just annoying more than anything else. Still, delicious! read more

I was there this evening to get dinner for my family and was truly disappointed with the service and quality of food. I understand that it's a fast food restaurant but we still have to pay high prices. As hard as it is to make our money it's disappointing when the quality of food isn't there. We love Popeyes and always enjoy their food, but this evening from the service, to the quality. The girl at the checkout seems to hate her job. No customer service skills. Not a hello not a welcome, not what can I help you with. She was right in front of me and looked dead at me and I had to start the conversation. My family meal was just a few dollars shy of $60 and when I tell you our food was cold and the sauces asked for were not the ones. The chicken tenders looked more like popcorn chicken. Super unsatisfied. read more

They need to close this Popeyes down. They constantly give out incorrect orders. They not only made me park and wait 10 minutes to get spicy chicken they still gave me mild chicken. It just shows how unorganized this place is. Management is obviously doing a horrible job if their store can't get something this simple right! read more

Twice this has happened when the price on the board doesn't match the price that gets ringed up. I ordered a family meal of 12 pieces that said it was 29.99 but once we got to pay the lady said it was 38.99 which is a huge difference and mistake that's not a costumers fault. Then they decide to not honor there price on the board and just say I don't know. read more

I don't know what I expected from a Popeye's drive thru in Perris.. The fries we got were stale and seemed like they were fried twice - can definitely tell they've been sitting out all day. The chicken was dry, tasted like it was a day old. Not coming back. read more

First time visiting this location. I placed an online order and they had me park in the front and wait a good 15 minutes. I just left Popeyes and I normally don't leave reviews for fast food places, because they all usually have poor service. But I just wanna say the whole team who was there at 6:30pm was great. I noticed when I got home my order was wrong. An honest mistake. I don't live close so that was kinda annoying, but when I arrived back they immediately fixed it not one person had an attitude the guy who helped me was training a new team member and was telling her how they would fix the mistake they made with me. They even threw in something for my wait. Beyond that their customer service was some of the best I have ever received in a loooong time and I was all prepared to give them hell and an attitude if they gave me one lol. But this was a nice surprise. THANK YOU FOR THAT. It has been years since I was satisfied with my fast food even with the mistake. read more

The young man named Jesus is very nice! He knows how to get the job done and has excellent customer service!

Unprofessional and dirty looking. I ordered a 4 piece meal and pulled up, they didn't even know what I ordered after sitting what seemed forever while my daughter was hungry. they have you sit for 1 small meal, lol The outside of the building is so dirty and fading. Then when they finally came out I didn't get my drink so we just went somewhere else for the drink. I can't believe it had an A in the window. Perris, Ca is an easy A. I felt bad for the stray dog out front of the door but I wasn't going to go to him, he was a German Shepherd. If ya try it I wish the best for ya. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and blind. read more

Coming from San Diego my partner and I wanted Popeyes for lunch. We both ordered and was not satisfied with the food at all my macaroni and cheese was cold. The service was not the greatest the staff were not very enthusiastic about working and doing a proper job. My partner noticed that their food handling skills are the worst no one was wearing gloves or hairnets when handing and dealing with the food. The ambience itself was very dead and not the best. I would not recommend anyone to eat here. read more

Lots of mixed results here. This review will cover my last 3 outings. Yesterday I had their very yummy fish filet sandwich (twice as large as the ones served at nearby McDonald's), but the sides with it had issues: the coleslaw container was only half full, which is recurring story, while the Mac N Cheese was way to watery and not thick and creamy as it should be. Where is the quality control? Doesn't the manager look and taste what is going out to customers? And, their speaker at the drive thru rarely works properly.....just a lot of crackling and broken words from the employee. Why isn't it repaired? On the 2 other visits: 1. Both times they failed to give me a spork to eat my food with. 2. Got small and dried out chicken breasts and wings. 3. Ordered 2 sides and only got one and when I went back to the window I was told I had to come into the lobby.....BUT, they had both doors locked and refused to come to me while i was left banging on the door for them to open it and give me my other side order.....What is wrong with these people? 4. Forgot my soda. Hmmmm.....Now that I think about it, this was a very generous 2-star rating considering all of the above.... read more

This Popeyes location, I can't seem to get a hold of a manager or anybody in charge. They they took our money didn't give us any food. After 4 hours I had to call the police it was a $70 order. They were rude, disrespectful and nobody answers the phone. I would really appreciate for somebody in charge of the store to please get a hold of me. I have launched a complaint with corporate. I'm waiting for them to get back with me. read more

Came to visit this location and wow what a difference in the worse way. I do live in this area. I pull up to order. No response. 3-5 minutes after saying hello every minute or so. I was not in a rush. So it was fine. The guy says give me a minute I'm the only one. Several minutes pass again totally ok. I ask for a sandwich- sorry we have no sandwiches. Ok no problem. Can I order Mac n cheese. Sorry we have no Mac n cheese. Hmmm ok can I order two apple pies. There is going to be a long wait for apple pies. Wow horrible service coming from a franchise. Worse Popeyes I've ever gone too. Whoever manages this location needs major training. read more

In drive thru for over 10 minutes, literally sitting at the window. They tried to park me, then said never mind, then said didnt have spicy tenders. The girl at drive thru was extremely rude and not well trained. She told manager I wanted to cancel my whole order, when I just told her cancel the tenders meal. I had to reorder my food. They didnt have bottled water, asked for just a cup of regular water.. they didnt have that either! Just plain rude overall! Will NEVER go there again!!! read more
