I've been going to this Popeyes since 2008, DO NOT ORDER SODA, every time I get the soda it tastes like they've never cleaned the fountain. It would be more worth it to order a combo and get soda at the nearby Walmart than get the soda they offer. It tastes stale and never tastes like soda. As far as the chicken, it's great, no complaints. The main reason for this review is to advise people to not order soda at this location for your own safety. Not a single time have I ever gotten a regular soda. Also, since 2008 the fries have always been soggy and never hot. Still sticking to my original review, this location consistently gives great food and service! Today we went with the classic chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese, delicious. The sweet tea has always been freshly made. I have seen the manager working in the kitchen the last few times, she is friendly! I just had the worst experience ever here. I had placed an uber order and your team never confirmed with the driver that the order had been picked up and i had called and they told ME the customer to do thier job and contact uber when the management had the number. This time around, we ordered Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen through DoorDash. This time, it was actually good, aside from the feeling of being dehydrated, which I'm thinking is a norm for Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. We ordered a 20 PC Mixed with 4 sides and 10 biscuits. The mixed chicken was pretty good and hot, even though the travel time was about 25 minutes. The biscuits taste just like the ones from Louisiana. The fries were a bit cold and dry -- the coldness isn't Popeyes fault, but the dryness, possibly. The mashed potatoes had a lot of gravy, which isn't preferred here, but if you prefer it, you should get it. The coleslaw was pretty good at first, until you're at the bottom of the cup and there's a bunch of liquid. Last but not least, the macaroni and cheese. It didn't look that appetizing -- there was a lot of cheese, and it seemed like it was left on the pan for quite some time. This establishment has the easiest drive-through to access of any fast food place I can think of. Are usually get the big six dollar box. It has two pieces of chicken, their choice, and two sides. I get this as a snack instead of his meal; it does not come with a beverage but it does come with a biscuit. This time and not in frequently, a utensil was not included for me too use to eat my side. For starters, there are sides on the drive through that is covered with duct tape so I'm guessing they've been out for a while and don't anticipate getting any in the near future. They don't have the chicken nuggets that it seems like every other Popeyes has. Then we ask for the Mac and cheese as a side but when we pulled up to the window, we were informed they didn't have any. That's the third strike. The Manager here is clearly being la y by pre-cooking chicken in greater numbers than they should. I ordered a 4 piece and the chicken pieces were extremely small and overcooked to the point of being inedible. Each bite resulted in the breading turning to what seemed like flour, turning all moisture in my mouth to paste. The breast was inedible and the normally moist dark meat was the driest I had ever eaten. It took 20 minutes to get our order and it wasn't because of my chicken, it was room temp when I got it to the table. So, this is my first Popeyes chicken sandwich ever. I'm a little torn in how to rate it. The bun is delicious, very delicious. The chicken is delicious. Thick chicken breast nicely breaded and fried. Not some skinny chicken from the other place. I added some Louisiana hot sauce and kicked it up a notch. Ok, let get to the pickle and mayo. Um, what pickle and mayo. I got one pickle and 1 pickle stem. Although the 1 pickle I got was delicious. I was hoping my mayo would blend with the hot sauce, however the tiny amount was kind of a let down. Then additional 20 mins to get the 2 vehicles in front of me served before I received my order. I had an Uber Eats order from this location, waited an HOUR for my food PLENTY of time for them to make the food, my Uber driver showed up and the restaurant cancelled my order! 15 minutes to closing so I can't just reorder nor drive there to get my food myself.
