Well....I'm done with Popeyes! It is my favorite tasting chicken and red beans & rice, but I'm sick of being screwed over on the quantity / price! I stopped in the other day for a 4 piece meal with an extra side of red beans & rice. First, the meal included 4 of the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen, 2 tiny wings, a very tiny leg and a very odd shaped piece, I believe was a mangled thigh with an extra small side of beans & rice for just over $11. It was tasty, just not nearly enough. I'm not s big eater and didn't expect much (I've been there before), but this was terrible! After eating this meal I was still hungry.....this will never happen again for a meal that couldn't have cost them $2 to make. How is this place open? It is the most pathetic establishment I've seen in a long time. Horribly run. Low quality food. Dirty interior. Terrible customer service. Randomly closes dine-in with no signage that dine-in is closed, just locked doors! Employees are disrespectful and lack attention. Employee didn't put lid on cup when handing to us in the drive-thru, resulting in a spilled drink on our lap (employee was completely oblivious about the incident btw). My husband went inside to place an order and the cashier said it would be about 15 minutes to answer a question he had and to take the order...there was no line in drive thru, hardly anybody there...literally...We were upset and the manager came to ask about the problem...of course he was upset and raised his voice and was told to leave and not come back. Both the cashier and my spouse exchanged words not necessary, but true unfortunately...We will never go back dur to this and bad past experiences at this location. read more

This shiphole restaurant never has enough help to maintain this restaurant absolutely poor management. Over inflated prices, ridiculous menu selections. Horrible manager and drive thru attendant. I have never been spoken to so rudely. She was so unprofessional. I came all the way back because I was missing items and my tenders were like leather. I originally came through the drive thru so when I had to return I didn't the same because no post was in it. I was very rudely told that I needed to come in because of their drive thru time. I have a messed up ankle from and accident. The manager was one of the rudest I've ever ran across. I couldn't believe it. I brought what they messed up back and was told to bring it all so I didn't then she didn't fix the problem. Tole me a well that's not what was messed up. But now it's Cold she told that. Ugh I was so mad I was literally shaking. The rudeness was beyond horrible. My goodness it's been hours and I'm still upset. When I arrived to make my order thru the drive through, I ordered the "shrimp tackle box" (which was on the screen), they said they were out, and suggested the popcorn shrimp combination which was $2.00 more. I did not want that, and I suggested that they might update the board. They proceeded to tell me they could not and that it was connected to 9 other stores and would not be updated until all of them were out. I then asked for the fried pickles, which they informed me they were also out of. I then asked if they had the boneless wings, which they snapped back "yes, those aren't a limited item". After ordering that, as I began to pull away from the ordering box, I heard the person over the mic say, "I love how people who know nothing about the business try to tell us what to do, like they know". I responded that I didn't think I knew everything and that it was just a suggestion. As I pulled around I asked for the manager, the young man who was there said he was the GM, and I said that it was unprofessional to talk negatively about customers, especially over the microphone. Never once did he apologize for being out of the advertised product, or his disrespectful engagement to me, the customer. I did not berate them, or even get angry, I was admittley frustrated with the interaction, and when he began to argue with me at the window, I just said that's fine and left without getting any food. This location is a disgrace to Popeyes and the gentleman who said he was the GM could only be a hindrance to the company and its potential profits. Having owned my own business for over 15 years, engaging with clients everyday (happy and unhappy clients), and having personally worked in the food service industry in a variety of roles from dishwasher to manager, I can tell you that what happened today will leave a bad taste in my mouth even though I didn't even get any food. read more

I will say that this location is my favorite can I stop and at least once per week. At times they may be understaffed as many restaurants are, but they do a great job at keeping up. It is always clean and they are always friendly. In fact, the day time manager goes out of his way to help you in anyway he can and despite the pressure or whatever he may be facing with customers, and such, he stays calm, polite, and courteous. This location has just popped up in the last year or so and I gotta say..it's a very nice one. Most Popeye's in the area are either connected to gas stations or are just old and run down..this one one was so new and clean and fresh feeling. It's a smaller-ish one but they make the most out of the space that they have and provide a very clean, comfortable, and sensible seating arrangement. We went here on a Saturday night..they weren't really that busy..maybe one or two other diners inside and a couple at the drive-thru..but the service was fast and precise. We ordered the 8 piece chicken family meal (half spicy, half regular) with a side of Mac and Cheese. I gotta say, that's a pretty good deal they have for that meal. You get 8 pieces of chicken, a large side, and 4 biscuits for about $18. All that food will easily feed a family of four..and to be able to do that these days for less than $20..that's pretty impressive. The food came out quick and tasted great. The pieces of chicken were a decent size..juicy..the breading was great. The mac and cheese was piping hot and made perfectly with a great combination of noodles and creamy cheese sauce. The biscuits were hot and buttery and delicious as well. Another cool thing here is that they have a Coca-Cola freestyle machine. I love these machines! I'm kinda limited on what I can drink..and at most fast food places I have to end up getting water because they don't have anything I can drink..but these machines provide so many different options I can always find something in them. So yeah, nice solid location with a comfortable clean dining area and food that is made very well..and some great affordable options as well. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area and in the mood for fried chicken. read more

Don't waste your time with this location. The drive thru move as slow as a sloth. They are consistently understaffed. I've been 3 times to be told they can't take orders because it's shift exchange. I've tried to be understanding given the pandemic but it feels more systematic. Just drive by rather than stopping in. read more

We had placed a DoorDash order. It took the driver 45 min to deliver. Food was cold and missing two items. I call up and talked to them they were closing in 20min. They were very nice about it, I drove up and got our order replaced, at no charge. They even gave some extras. They were very nice. And food was excellent. read more

Employees don't wear their face masks properly if at all during the peak of this pandemic. Used to be my go to Popeyes for my spicy chicken and spicy chicken sandwiches. They lost 3 stars for not properly implementing face masks. It's bad when Walmart does a better job than you do! read more

Love Popeyes blackened chicken and most of their sides as well. The red beans & rice is always at the top of my favorites along with the green beans. The latest spicy chicken sandwich is also a MUST TRY! You will not be disappointed. My only critism is how slow the service can seem to be sometimes. This location is pathetic. It is obviously ran by people who do not care and have no idea what they are doing. The restaurant is dirty and the signage is always old and out of date. They had No Kid Hungry signage from September 2020 up until February 2021. The signs will display something they are promoting then when I order it they say they don't have it that promotion is over. Then why is the sign still up?! The customer service is awful. They are ghetto and rude. They consistently mess up my order and when I call to let them know they say I am making it up. They never apologize or try to take ownership for their mistake. I would really like to give them zero stars if that was an option. This is the type of place that probably spits in your food for complaining so I will never visit this location again and I would advise others not to either! read more

What ever happened to the Popeyes I used to like. Last 2 visits have been bad. 1st time the chicken was cold. Second time wrong order after I got home and the outside was very pale. I love this location. There is a woman that works the drive thru and she can pretty much read minds. I forgot to ask for sauces so I stoped my car abruptly and asked " oh I forgot! Can i have ketchup and honey?" And she said "oh girl I already put it in the bag!" AMAZING You know I ordered the classic chicken sandwich and man, all the hype was real! They're basically closed at 9:30 instead of 10 as they have locked the doors, started shutting the equipment down, and I was told the chicken was still frozen and would take too long to make. Going during the day isn't much better as the staff are unfriendly and do not seem to care about what they're doing. Many times now they have forgotten to give me all of my order and a couples times I was charged for items I didn't order at all. popeyes 3/5/2017 a little after noon 2981 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011 I have been here a few times in the past without any issues but this day was the worst I have ever had at a popeyes. 1st the person taking the order didnt seem like they wanted to be there, 2nd the pop machine had no ice and they said we had to get it from the drive thru people and didnt offer to have someone get the ice . 3rd the pop was flat nasty. 4th we received the spicy tenders and the mashed potato and the chicken wash nasty cold and dry there were black spots in the meat, the mashed potato was even cold. The only reason I am giving them a one star is because zero stars is not an option. My husband and I were in this weekend and the lady taking the order was rude and rushed us through the line. We were obviously putting her out. Upon receiving our order we noticed it was incorrect. My husband took it back to be met with even more rudeness. She took the tray threw it down and said 'well now you are going to have to wait!' Then she proceeded to take the food and put it back into the bin of freshly cooked food.
