Do not try and order food from them on Doordash. They limit the menu items, ie they have no shrimp items or any combo deals in order for you to spend more money. The Popeyes app menu is different and gives you more variety but they increase their prices there too. What a disgusting business practice. read more

So to start with the only thing that got right on my order was the sides for both orders that's it. I ordered a large diet Coke. They handed me a small. I handed it back. They handed me a large once I took a drink after pulling away I discovered it was not diet Coke. It was plain Coke. I ordered a number 4 four piece spicy dark meat. I got a number four four piece plain. I even heard him call it out when I pulled up to the window and yet they gave me the wrong complete food. The only thing that got right was the red beans and rice for the side. The other order was a number 4 combo three piece all dark meat. I got one white meat and two dark and I know they were dark because they were legs but beyond that they got nothing else right except that rotor had fries. And yep, there's a bag of fries. Apparently you have to now beg for biscuits, because I only got one , when I should have gotten one for each order. Inconsistent is not the word here. Incompetent is the word here. read more

Another customer complained ahead of us as he noticed that they were filling orders backwards. This Popeyes has the worst service. I never get my sauces and there's always something missing. I always order online get the blackened tenders, I know they take time to cook but they sure as heck don't take thirty minutes and by the time I get the food it's cold. When I got home and opened the bag I got 3 legs and a breast and no rice. (I go the order of the customer in front of me who took off before getting to the delivery window). Terrible experience. Like, the worst service I've had all year. To start, this location does the whole, drive forward and park routine, so they can cheat the ticket out times in the drive through. Of course this means you get the wrong food ran out to you because the system is dumb. I'd rather wait in the drive through for an extra 15 minutes and have the correct food handed directly to me through the window, like it's suppose to work. Rather then have to pull forward, park and have the wrong food brought to me and have to go inside and start the ordering process all over again. This is exactly what happened to me. $55 worth of food and by the time I got home it was cold, the order wasn't right, everyone complained, and I was pissed. Here's how it happened. Went through the drive through to order a family meal with some add-ons. I pull forward, hand my card over and pay.... THEN I'm told they don't make any macaroni and cheese after 7pm, ok that's dumb you're open til 11. Of course this is the only side my kids like from there. I'm already frustrated at this point but relent and ask to sub the mac n cheese with fries. Ok is the response. Cashier then comes back and says sorry we're out of Dr Pepper. Well, if you would have told me that when I was ordering I would have just left instead of ordering and waiting. Ugh... fine just give me coke or whatever you have. Now I'm spending $55 dollars on sides or drinks I don't want but it's already been 20 minutes and I don't want to deal with trying to get a refund at this point, whatever I'll live just give me my food. I am then told if I could please pull forward into spot 2 and wait for my order. I was upset now and I asked if I had too, every place I go that does this stupid policy seems to mess up the food delivery, I was told yes I did, so I pulled forward and waited. An employee comes out 10 minutes later and drops off a bag and runs back inside before I could even check the order, of course it's the wrong order. Luckily this has happened to me before at other fast food restaurants so I checked before I left. I get out and go inside but the doors are locked. Have to stand there knocking on the window waiting for an employee to let me in. I then show them my receipt and explain I got the wrong order. I then have to explain 5 times what my order was. I mean, the damn food order is on the ticket can you just look at it please? I wait another 10 minutes and am finally handed my order. I look inside and it looks correct but the chicken is warmish going on cold. I ask if they have any fresh chicken to which the response is no, but if I want to wait they can cook more. I've now been trying to get food for 40minutes, it's late, my wife is texting wondering where I am, kids are hungry, I just say screw it, accept the "warm" chicken and head home. I get home and start handing out food to the family and guess what! NO FRIES IN THE ORDER!! Not once, not twice, but three times these idiots messed up my order. They burned me twice! My fault for not checking the bag thoroughly the third time they handed it to me. But I got distracted with the Luke warm chicken and didn't notice the box of missing fries. So spent $55 on 12 pieces of cold chicken, two medium mashed potatoes, and 6 biscuits. Missing both large fries, and no one likes coke so it got thrown away. Check your order before driving off!! More times than not, our order is wrong. They love to give you regular fried chicken instead of tenders or forget your extra biscuit. The food is good for the most part. The past few times I've ordered the "famous chicken sandwich" it's been old and rubbery tasting like it's been sitting under a heating lamp for hours. The one time I did get a fresh one, it was amazing. I'm scared to order another one though because it's never been fresh since. No other fast food chicken place can match the Cajun style food. Fast food chain store chicken is usually not something I seek out for dinner. But, for some reason today I had a craving for Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen. We became familiar with Popeye's when we lived in Houston and the family enjoyed it. It has been a couple of years since I patronized the Broken Arrow store or any Popeye's anywhere. Popeye's has certainly carved out a niche in the chicken fast food industry. No one else comes close, in my opinion to their menu and Cajun flavors. I ordered the 12 piece chicken tender dinner (half spicy and half regular), Red Beans and Rice, Slaw and it came with 6 Biscuits. I wanted to order enough to have plenty of left overs and ensure that my Popeye's fix would last for a couple of more years. I was a little shocked at the price. With tax the meal was $29.26. Is chicken that expensive now? I will say the young man boxing up the chicken was very generous with the chicken knowing that some pieces were small. I have no complaints about the amount of chicken I got. Now they call their sides large. The sides were in a pint sized container. Probably enough in each side to give 4 diners about a quarter cup of the side. It did come with 6 biscuits. Popeye's has mastered the art of making crunchy chicken. And nobody comes close to the taste of their spicy chicken. It is delicious. The slaw was not too sweet and had a hint of dill pickle juice. The red beans and rice were out of the park good. It is hard to believe that a fast food restaurant could make red beans and rice with that great smoky flavor. And then the biscuits of course, who doesn't like fresh buttered biscuits? First, the food is always fresh when we get here. While I understand that they are limited on how many sauces they can give out, I do believe that there should be a minimum of 1 honey packet per biscuit . I got to my destination on to have 6 honey packets for 14 biscuits. I also only have 4 sporks. While I can solve the utensil issue, not having enough honey for everyone is sadly disappointing as that is what Popeyes is known for. I will make sure to give numerical quantities next time. Wow! Last chance for this Popeye's! Walked in to the manager (I assume) working on one register. She didn't look up or acknowledge our presence. She ordered someone else to the register because she was "working on employee meals." Bad attitude just emanating from her. One third of the menu board was black and what was working was family meals, sides and desserts. We ordered a two piece combo and a 3 piece combo, paid and sat down to wait. All the while the manager was asking employees what they wanted to take home. She called to us across the restaurant to say our tenders would be about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later an employee came out to tell us they thought they got the order wrong, as they had two bone in combos instead of tenders. We asked to speak to the manager, explained how the whole situation was just so wrong with her attitude as we entered, the inoperative menu and now the order being slowed further. She was angry, said she was short staffed (although there were about 6 employees besides her) and walked away. We asked for our money back so we could just leave. I said then I need a refund because the website had already charged me. She told me that is not her problem and they would not issue a refund. I naturally asked for a manager and this spineless excuse for a shift manager named Josh just left me standing outside the door and would not come talk to me. So I walked up to the window and finally he talked to me continually saying it's not his fault and that he shut the portal off it shouldn't have worked and that I'm just out of luck there's no refund and they are not giving me my order.
