A Cold, Dismissive, and Emotionally Draining Experience. Please Read Before Booking!!!…read moreI went to see Dr. Sara Mucowski after discovering my AMH was low. I was looking for clarity, support, and a full picture of my fertility health including egg freezing and the possibility of conceiving naturally. I did every test she recommended and came in prepared to make informed decisions about my future. Unfortunately, what I experienced at her clinic was cold, impersonal, and deeply upsetting. From the beginning, Dr. Mucowski made zero effort to get to know me as a person or understand what I envisioned for my future family, something I find particularly troubling given her specialty. While I respect a fact-based approach, fertility is an area where bedside manner is critical. Instead, she came across as emotionally detached, condescending, and uninterested in helping me make thoughtful, informed choices. She delivered a large amount of complex medical information very quickly, without checking in to see if I was following or emotionally absorbing it. When I asked clarifying questions, she often interrupted me mid-sentence or said that she had "already answered that" as if I should instantly absorb and understand complicated medical data she spent years studying, all while I was still trying to process the emotional weight of my situation. When I asked her why my AMH levels might be declining so quickly, her only response was, "i don't know it's the cards you've been dealt." That really was the extent of her explanation. No curiosity, no exploration of potential causes. Later, I saw a different specialist who actually took the time to explain real, evidence-based possibilities, such as environmental factors or autoimmune disorders, and even referred me to another doctor to investigate further. That's the kind of thoughtful, complete care I had hoped to receive from Dr. Mucowski but never did. She presented egg freezing as my only option and painted my future as dark and hopeless. When I asked about my chances of conceiving naturally, she said, "I don't know, you haven't been trying," even though she had more than enough data from my full fertility workup to provide an informed response. She offered no other statistics, no context, and no real options. Just doom and fear. To make matters worse, the experience with her staff was just as troubling. The woman who drew my blood ignored me completely for several minutes while sitting on her phone, never greeted me, and just stared at me when I was brought in. Then she asked if I was married. When I told her that my husband passed away a few years ago, she responded by saying she "felt sorry for me because of the dating world." That comment was incredibly rude, insensitive, and completely uncalled for. In the end, I left this clinic feeling worse than when I arrived... discouraged, unsupported, and like I was just a number in a very impersonal system. Thankfully, I sought out a second opinion. That other doctor treated me like a human being, took time to explain actual reasons behind low AMH, gave me personalized statistics, and even discussed medications that could help if I try to conceive naturally. He told me that some women live with low AMH for years before it fully declines, and that there are options beyond freezing eggs. He gave me facts, hope, and a well-rounded view, everything Dr. Mucowski failed to do. If you're looking for compassionate, thoughtful fertility care that supports your emotional and physical journey, I urge you to look elsewhere. In my experience, Dr. Mucowski and her staff failed in every way that matters.

I felt pressured into a tube removal procedure and when I asked questions she was short and condescending. When my test results came back my numbers were really good and she would just point out the negative. Also, she said I was a carrier for Tay-Sachs when I switched Doctors is when I realized how bad my experience was with Dr M. My new doctor, Dr. Pinto, was happy and positive. He looked at the results to my tests and did not see evidence of Tay-Sachs. The contrast of my experience with this new doctor really showed me that this scary time didn't have to be so bleak and, well, scary. I honestly am so thankful to get out from Dr. M's care when I look back it was such a dark time. Btw, I'm a happy "old" mother of Twins. And the ivf experience however hard and scary it is in itself was actually pleasant with Dr. Pinto.

I received a text message to ask me how my last appointment was. I complained because it wasn't very good. It was with Dr. Sheas Nurse practitioner Jennifer. My wife was with me and experienced the unprofessional manor of the appointment. So because I complained they deleted my patient portal and sent me a letter stating they would no longer see me. They just didn't even look into the problem, they just dumped me. As of now they will not give me the results of my bloodwork I had done, they will not respond to the pharmacies request because Jennifer wrote the prescription wrong, so I can't get my medication. I am just amazed at the unprofessional manor in which this was handled. I don't have my medication because of them. That's a big problem. It's sad I have to take this to the next level because I have been a loyal patient for years despite all the problems with wait time and staff.
