I get awful migraines and instead of always writing a prescription for me, he gives me a good amount of samples to try out before purchasing the meds. The nurses there are super sweet, my only problem is with the office assistants. They get flooded and overwhelmed that they forget their manners. Also, I always overhear them bad-mouthing patients, that's a huge NO-NO for me since I am in the medical field. Your job is to help the patient and understand what they are going through. I understand it is overwhelming at times, especially at this particular office, but remember what you are there for. I have been coming to this office since Dr. Van and Vu were here, and I love them to death, but the new management and new team are light years better. They do take Medicare and Medicaid and many major insurances here, walk-ins are welcomed and are not too long of a wait, but get an appointment if you can, because it can get busy. It took two weeks just to refill a prescription and three weeks (with multiple reminder calls) to get a referral that we still haven't received. Completely unacceptable. Bottom line: the front desk is unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful--especially toward older patients. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.
