My black ten-year-old car was definitely starting to show its age. Despite car washes every other week, waxes every month, and attempts at hand polishing, the clearcoat was starting to oxidize and the paint was looking tired. I had gotten quotes for paint correction from a few mobile detailers and businesses ranging from $400 to $600 depending on how far I wanted to go with the restoration. Wayne greeted me from his corner office and after two minutes of me trying to explain my concern he was outside with a bar of clay, a spray detailer, and some compound. My main concern was that the clear coat on my car was too thin and that any further attempts at "cutting" or abrasive polishing would wear down the paint. Mr. Wayne assured me that I had plenty of clearcoat left and proceeded to test a small portion of the hood, bringing it back to a nice shine in a few minutes. The entire time he was educating me on products and methods on how I could achieve this in an afternoon with the right tools and supplies. After going back in the store, Wayne lined up products for me on the counter but I NEVER once felt any sales pressure. Hesitantly, I even mentioned that I had some Meguires polish at home and Wayne recommended that I use a Meguires compound as it will work best as a system. Normally, this type of comment would yield an irritated response from seasoned shop owners, but not in the case of Dr. Detail. He recommended that I purchase a dual-action polisher from Harbor Freight despite having a wall full of them in his store. He then even coached me on which pads to use with which product and the method by which I should hold and maneuver the polisher over the panels of my car. In the end, I left his store with only a bar of clay, a spray detailer, glass cleaner, but most importantly the knowledge and confidence that I could tackle this job on my own. Cut to this past weekend, after about four hours of pretty tiring work my car looks better than it has in YEARS. It most certainly isn't a show car but those were never my expectations for my daily driver. I was able to remove 90% of the oxidation from my hood and roof and attribute the remaining 10% to my own user error with the products and tools. We need more shop owners like "Dr." Wayne, he is a wealth of knowledge and I look forward to seeing him again soon!

I typically go during a week/work day and it's not busy. I was there for an hour and a half today. But there were a lot of cars so I knew there would be a wait when I chose to still go in. The service is always great though - everyone greets you and is friendly and even when leaving, people are always saying have a great day. Variety of seating inside and outside. I contacted Daniel, and he was great to work with from the start. His pricing was fair, the turnaround time was reasonable, and he made the entire process stress-free. I had called several shops, and most of them wanted to repaint the side skirts completely. Daniel was one of the few who was confident they could correct the finish with a cut and buff, and the results exceeded my expectations. When I mentioned that I still needed the side skirts installed, Daniel let me know his team could handle that as well. After the cut and buff was completed, I brought my NSX in for the installation. Just as we were backing the car into the shop, it suddenly started leaking coolant everywhere. The team immediately jumped into action, cleaned up the coolant, rolled out wheel dollies, and carefully moved the car inside so it could cool down while they completed the installation. Daniel and Team even went the extra mile by calling around to find a replacement cap and topping off the coolant for me. Unfortunately, the cap didn't fit my aftermarket reservoir, but I appreciated the effort. After the installation, the installer noticed my reservoir cap looked secure but wasn't fully locked down. He sinched the locking mechanism properly, and the coolant leak did not return on the ride home. The quality of the work was outstanding, but what really impressed me was the customer service. The team went above and beyond to help with an unexpected problem, and that's the kind of service you don't see every day. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend this shop to anyone
