Made an appointment to have our house unlocked because our electronic locks died. Our Son was going to meet them so called to set up payment. They cannot take payment over the phone and it must be paid at the time of the appointment. They have no way to electronically bill for the appointment. Great service. Quick and friendly. The locksmith only took a few minutes to make us a new remote key fob. They were pretty busy though, so try to call them early because it will take them a while before they will call you back with an appointment. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THESE people. I scheduled an appointment 15 hours in advance and they managed to get the Name, car and address wrong! When the tech began arguing with me about the appointment details, I asked if they hadn't gotten everything wrong then how did he have my phone # "Uuuuuuuuhhhhhhh" was his reply. Instead of turning around from the WRONG DIRECTION, he apparently took another call instead. Having taken time off from work and setting the appointment the prior day, he didn't like that I was upset and was reluctant to reschedule if it was on his day off. When I pushed back, he said I was 'blacklisted' and hung up. I called the 'remote call center' and was lied to again. NONE of this would have happened if they were competent. No one apologized, explained, offered a discount or mad ANY effort to make it right. PLEASE use local businesses. I don't know if this is a franchise but I wouldn't recommend this as it currently staffed. I called a local place right after and everything was dome efficiently and honestly. I just have to wait 3 days since I made the mistake of calling 'Pop-a Lock'. Bought a used car at local dealership. They only had one car key, so I called Pop-a-lock about making us a spare. They asked if the key was micro-chipped, I told them no. She quoted me $172 for one key. I thought that seemed quite high. Called a local lock and key business and they thought it would be approximately $4 for a key. Cancelled Pop-a-lock Appt, went to a business in Broken Arrow and got TWO spare keys made for $8.52. Seriously. The guys at local place even went out and made sure both new keys worked in door and ignition. My advice? Call around before you use these guys. read more

I had someone from Pop-a-Lock come help me today because I locked my phone and keys in my trunk in a Walmart parking lot. I am a server and I have a coin purse along with an apron I keep in my car for work. My coin purse is now nowhere to be found and thankfully there was no money in it but I do keep some very important medication I take every day in the coin purse. I went to take my medicine & that's when I found out it was missing. The door of the car the worker opened is where it was and when I went to pop my trunk he went to the driver side of his car and stuck his head in then came back to have me sign his phone and took off pretty quick after that. I feel violated and want others to be aware, especially after I paid for this service!!! I made sure to call pop a lock and gave the woman my information and told her what had happened. I called Pop-A-Lock and ask him if they could get there quickly and they were there within 30 minutes. They let me pay over the phone which was excellent. While I was waiting for the tow truck to arrive, I happened to Google Pop-A-Lock and made an appointment. It took about four hours before the guy arrived. He was seriously the most unfriendly guy I've met in a long time. They still get five stars because they got it done quickly and saved me a fortune over the dealership. I paid $180 for two keys and paid no tow truck fee. Even waiting four hours was probably quicker than the dealership in the end. read more

This company is the most disrespectful place I have ever come in contact with. This company was sent to my through AAA. Upon arrival I thought it would be an easy process, however, when the technician unlocked my car he hit the top of my Macbook Pro so hard that he broke the LCD and cracked the glass. When I called to report the problem he denied the incident ever happened. The manager Michelle actually got very hateful with me on the phone and told me that they did a demo of the incident and that there was no possible way to do that much damage. My thought is that if they put a Macbook in the front seat of a Honda Civic and tried to break it that would be insane because the damage cost me $321.27 to fix. It has been two weeks now and I have called twice a week to speak to the owns who refuse to even give me a call. I know that was a lie and they didnt do a demonstration. I know that they know they are in the wrong and should do the right thing, however, because I am a 19 year old female I feel like they believed I was lying and could take advantage of me.
