I went to Ace's Hardware the day before and they weren't able to get my key made correctly so they referred to Charley's. I called around 2:05PM the following day (today/Saturday) and asked if they would be able to make me a new car key because my shell broke. Charley answered the phone gave me a quote that was half the price of my dealership so I agreed to come ASAP because they closed at 3:00PM. Once I got there around 2:20, he asked a few more questions and was able to make me a new key. I was out there by 2:30!!!!! Amazing! I will refer others here! read more

I need to give a big thank you to Charley's Southside Lock and Safe! We had an exterior door lock that had broken and we were unable to open the door. I called Charley's because we had tried to fix the lock ourselves and were unable to so. When I explained the problem to them over the phone when trying to book a service call, the kind woman I spoke with asked me to email them some photos of the lock and the replacement part I purchased. After receiving the photos, she told me how to fix the lock myself. Her instructions worked perfect and I no longer needed a service call. Charley's made zero money off of helping me today, but I am very grateful for their help and will absolutely be using them in the future for all lock needs. Thank you Charley's! read more

A rating of zero. Rude, no help and lost account due to lack of assistance. I waited around on Friday after thanksgiving. I drove there and camped out because website said open at 8:30 AM. When I arrived, paper sign in door said open at 10 AM due to Holiday. Noticed lights on and someone inside. Door opened shortly after 10 and I was told he was too busy, come back Monday... won't ever go back, I was in a real bind.
