Not that the service man was bad. Polite, basically on time, was in the auto within no more then 3 minutes. All satisfying points attaining a passing grade. My problem was the price. Saturday afternoon around 3 pm is, in my opinion, not an extreme out of line time for a service. The job was a simple lock out of vehicle (2017 Chevy van) as I said before it took him all of between 2 and 3 minutes to have the door open, I also respect the fact that he knew his job and performed it well. We had a residential lockout during regular business hours. The operators answered quickly and a locksmith was at our home within 20 minutes. After he got us in, he charged us $225, which we thought was ridiculous as it was not after hours and wasn't even the deadbolt lock, but the front door handle. I called the operator and explained the situation and asked if we had been charged appropriately. Around 6 PM, the manager left me a voicemail saying she will try to reach me again the next day at noon. After not hearing from them I called around 1:00 PM and a very friendly operator answered the phone and let me know they'd issue a $75 refund bringing our total to $150. It's still pretty steep, but it was very nice of them to refund us and provide pretty good customer service. I don't think I'd use them again due to their pricing, but if you need a very fast locksmith, they definitely can provide service quickly. read more

Bad quote, good work. Initially the technician quoted for a missing key ($200 for 2 new keys w/fobs) but called back 2 hrs before appt and let them know the key fob was found. The technician then quoted $125 for a new single copy of a key fob and key. I agreed bc was the weekend. After the work was performed I was given a bill for $230. I paid the bill. I then checked my CC and was charged $250 bc tax wasn't included in the "quote." Started at $125, then $230 and ended at $250. How they get there is they don't tell you about the $85 trip charge and $20 service charge and that tax isn't included in the total price but added after. They swiped my card for $230 and I saw $250 on my CC. Just tell me up front the TOTAL price and let ME make the decision!! Stay Away, Bad Business Practices. The worst experience I ever had. My child locked her keys in the car and broken arrow I don't drive so I couldn't go save her. I Google Pop-A-Lock and accidentally dialed this number instead. I asked her dispatcher if she could give me a guesstment of how much this was going to cost she said she would have the technician call me which he never did instead he called my child quoted $75 to her got there unlocked the vehicle and ask for her $175 payment which he came down to 125 cuz there wasn't enough money on that card. I really wish I would have looked at these reviews before I called this place. I've never lost a key before today so I didn't really know exactly what to do. I called this place and they didn't give me any quote for how much it would be (I should have asked but I didn't think to because I didnt think it would be that expensive). They charged me $280 for an apartment lockout and I believe they took advantage of me during a vulnerable moment. The guy who came to help me unlock my car told my husband and I that they changed the ignition to a new one. My husband notice it is still the same ignition that I had because it takes any key where it can start my car. I was told with "this" new ignition it will be 10 years warranty. So i called at 7:33am a locksmith was here by 8:35. The guy looks at the key and tells me he doesn't have any fobs like the one i have and he can order it and it'll take 3-5 days but he has a metal key that'll work to turn the vehicle on and off. I was calling the dealership i bought the car from to see if i could get a copy of theirs made. The locksmith then threatened to leave mid work because i was on the phone. He asked "you tell me what you want me to do. I go or leave" i explained myself to another grown adult because he was insecure in his work. Sorry. Also, he told me 250$ i said for what. He said. For coming,for checking his box for the key, and to program it. He then threatened to leave again and packed up his stuff. The key he "made" ain't even cut so I cannot even use it to unlock the doors. The business info that is on the e-receipt isn't even the business i called or the one I'm reviewing. It was a weekend night and she needed to get back home. We were desperate. They were prompt getting to us in Bixby like within 25 minutes. They were very nice and professional. Had the door opened within three minutes of getting there. My only complaint is that I overpaid way too much! They charged a $20 service fee plus $80 for totally of $100. I get the the $20 service fee but the max I should have paid for a standard call like this was $30- $50 NOT $80 dollar but we were desperate and in our haste, I did not get a quote first so it's on me. Was quoted one price over the phone and when gentleman showed up he got right to work and had key done in less then 5 minutes and tried to bill for a different price. Terrible service!!!!!! Had several locks replaced. The cost was outrageous!! They locksmith scratch and dented 2 brand new door knobs and was not going to say anything about it. We send our drivers money for situations such as these. Our driver called back in and stated that OKC locksmith employee advised the price to be $300.00 to unlock the truck. We contact the business at 405-219-4612 to verify this price. They stated they charge 150.00 at the most for afterhours calls. When we had questioned them on what the employee dispatched out to location(name was Howard) was charging us he did not have any answer for us.. We asked to speak with a supervisor and they stated we would need to call back in the morning. we asked to speak with a supervisor on duty at the particular moment and the dispatcher advised he had emergency phone call and hung up the phone. one of our employees in our company used their personal number and called to see how much it would be to come unlock their truck... the dispatcher stated 85.00... This is a scam. We ended up paying the 300.00 to avoid any other delays in the process due to our professional driver being dispatched under a customer load and we did not want to delay the delivery any further. read more

The serviceman arrived very quickly but immediately ignored my requests to use tools that had worked in the past and also to take extra care to protect the brand new paint job on my vehicle. While using the wrong tool a thick metal rod) directly against the paint, the employee completely scratched up the paint on edge of the door frame, removing a significant amount. I watched as he kept looking at and touching the damage he was causing and kept going. When it was done he didn't say a word and when I brought it to his attention, he made me feel like it was my fault for his brute force attack on this because I needed him to open the car and this kind of damage was to be expected. In order to use the wrong tool, which I told him doesn't work on this kind of car, he aggressively wedged in and expanded the spacers so far that now my driver door leaks water from the exact spot of the spacer. I called the business after I knew the serviceman wasn't going to or could do anything. The person taking the calls took my info to pass onto the owner/boss and I was never contacted. Also, the quote I received on the phone didn't cover everything I was charged for. I was told it was it would be $19 for the call plus labor starting at $49 for the job, which goes up from there based on the time. I was charged $19 + $49 (the flat fee for opening a car) then another $50 for labor. Very misleading on the costs and I spent more than I would have with other companies I called and got quotes from. I'm just disappointed that the technician did not listen to me at all and that my request to speak with someone about the damage caused to my vehicle, which was 100% avoidable went ignored. I called them for replacing my house locks; 4 locks; initially they quoted my $19 for service fee, and $25 per door lock. The guy arrives at my house, granted I had to do 6 locks, instead of 4. He has me sign the paperwork (with just my name and address); I should have known that was a bad sign, no dollar amounts up front. When I asked the guy what the overall cost would be, since there's nothing on the paperwork, then he starts to tell me that it starts at $25 per lock and that it can go up to $35 per lock depending on the pins in the lock. He also mentions that there's the part fee and the labor fee. Then when I try to cancel, he tells me that I would have to pay the $20 service fee (was $19), and a cancellation fee of $65. There was no mention of cancellation when I called to set up the work; and there was no mention of labor fees either. So after all 6 locks got replaced, the bill came close to $300. I feel like I got taken advantage of, mainly because there was no mention of a cancellation fee or even labor costs. I wouldn't have mind paying the labor fee if I was told up front. read more
