Hired this service. Still tons of crap in my yard. Canceled the service and they continue to take money from my account. Don't do it!

Reed's big brother Sawyer rolled into town from Sacramento this weekend looking like he'd just…read morecrawled out of a wilderness survival documentary -- long, matted fur, nails so overgrown they could've been registered as concealed weapons. My wife and I did what any responsible pet parents would do: administered a full‑scale COVID‑era haircut and booked a 9 AM nail‑trim appointment to finish the job. Once the shop opened, we learned the entire operation was being run by one heroic human that morning. One. A whole grooming shop held together by sheer willpower and caffeine. After we explained Sawyer's situation, this absolute saint of a groomer didn't just agree to trim his nails -- she offered to clean him up for a small fee, with the kind of patience and warmth that could calm a tornado. Minutes later, out strutted a brand‑new dog. Freshly trimmed, nails immaculate, tail wagging like he'd just won a beauty pageant. I tipped more than I planned, but honestly, it still wasn't enough. She earned every penny with her kindness, her skill, and that unwavering smile that said, "Yes, I am single‑handedly keeping this place running, and no, you will not see me break." I wish I remembered her name, but I'll never forget the impression she made. She opened the shop on June 6th and represented that establishment with pride, grit, and genuine heart -- a true gem in the grooming world. PHOTO: Sawyer and Reed

They do a good job and the price is average for a big dog groom.

They assured me they could work with her. After I dropped her off, they even called and asked for permission to put a muzzle on her so they could continue. I also offered to stay and help comfort my dog during the grooming, but they told me it wasn't necessary. About two hours later, I received a call to come pick her up. When I saw her, I was shocked. She looked terrible. They didn't even groom her face, and she had multiple cuts on her ears and face. To make matters worse, she was still wet when they handed her back to me. They told me my dog was aggressive, but at no point did anyone call to let me know they were unable to safely complete the grooming. Instead, they waited until I arrived and then tried to charge me extra because they said it took two people to work on her. I have a 1-year-old Maltipoo who is incredibly sweet and loving. I understand she gets anxious during grooming, which is exactly why I was upfront about her behavior from the beginning. I expected patience, communication, and professionalism--not for my dog to come home injured and with an incomplete groom. I will not be returning. Not only that, but the groomer who worked on my dog was extremely rude and unprofessional, and the owner of the shop allowed the disrespectful behavior. She repeatedly kept telling me my dog was "bad," constantly talked over me, and spoke to me in an aggressive tone when I was simply trying to explain that the additional charge should have been communicated beforehand. They had no problem calling me to ask permission to use a muzzle and informing me there would be an extra charge for that, so they should have shown the same courtesy when they decided to charge me more because two people had to work on my dog. Instead, they waited until I arrived to tell me, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. And then they had the nerve to try to charge me $125 for a groom that wasn't even completed. My dog's face wasn't done, she came back with cuts on her ears and face, and she was still wet when they handed her to me. Based on the way the groomer spoke to me--being rude, aggressive, and repeatedly calling my dog "bad"--I left with very little confidence that my dog was treated with the patience and care she deserved. My dog is a sweet, loving 1-year-old Maltipoo who gets anxious during grooming, and I was transparent about that from the very beginning. I expected compassion and professionalism, not poor communication, disrespect, and an incomplete groom. i wouldnt even give a star but i have to!

After coming to terms with the fact that euthanasia was the only option for my sweet girl, they immediately started the payment process while preparing to put her down. There was no time to process what was happening and everyone who wanted to be there barely arrived on time. It felt like they just wanted our money for us to be gone. They did not treat my Leia with dignity during the procedure nor did they express very much sympathy. It was such a night and day difference from other experiences I've had with local vets and the experience of losing a pet. Never going to this vet again.

I had a scheduled appointment for my cat's spay, which required significant advance planning around…read morevaccinations and her heat cycle. The spay was scheduled just last week, yet I was contacted the day before the procedure and told the appointment could not be honored because my cat would soon after the surgery be due for a rabies vaccine. This was especially frustrating because I confirmed twice during prior vaccine appointments that my cat would be fully up to date and cleared for her spay. The veterinarian reassured me that she was. Had this concern been communicated earlier, I would have had no issue ensuring my pet was fully vaccinated well in advance, rather than being notified at the last minute. As soon as I received the call, I communicated this issue immediately with the receptionist, explaining that I had relied on the veterinarian's guidance when planning the procedure. I also inquired why the vaccine issue was not brought up last week when I booked the spay. Despite this, the appointment was still canceled with no meaningful resolution. I have had no one reach out to attempt to resolve this matter and want to warn others before also going through this frustrating experiencing. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be an isolated incident. I previously had a vaccine appointment urgently rescheduled after being informed that the doctor only performs procedures on certain days and does not see other appointment types on those days, something that could have been communicated when the appointment was originally booked. This points to a pattern of poor planning and communication. Also, read poor prior reviews showing this pattern of last minute schedule changes. Canceling a spay appointment on such short notice for something that should have been identified earlier reflects a lack of proactive coordination and consideration for a client's time and preparation. I am very disappointed with this experience and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their pet's needs, especially for procedures that require careful scheduling and coordination. I am also concerned about the unusually high cost quoted for the feline spay procedure, which was nearly $700 and required mandatory blood work at the time of booking. While I understand that pre-operative testing can be beneficial, the pricing and required services were significantly higher than what is commonly charged by other veterinary providers in the area. This further contributes to my decision to seek care elsewhere.

five stars all around! Martina is the best & my pup Steve loves her…read more I found Martina on Yelp--my now husband and I were going away for our destination wedding & we needed someone to care for our 13YO pup. I have never left him with anyone other than my parents / sister to care for him. Martina came over to our home for a meet & greet & Steve immediately took to her. He seemed comfortable and happy around her. We left him with her for just over a week & I felt so at peace. Martina posted plenty of pictures of Steve on her IG page so I was able to see what he was up to and he seemed to be having the time of his life over there. I was worried he would not want to come back home! Martina is awesome at communicating and is very pleasant to be around. I will never take Stevie anywhere else. Thank you for being so good to our old pup.

It takes a while for Bailey to warm up to humans but Martina allowed Bailey to warm up to her at her own pace. After the trial half day, we were excited that Bailey would be in great hands and would have friends to play with!! We left Bailey with Martina for a little under a week and we are so happy with the love and attention Martina provided Bailey. She was very professional and kept us updated every day, either through videos/photos on instagram or through text. Bailey looked so happy in all the photos and videos!!! If we could give more stars, we would. We would recommend Martina & Waggy Trails to anyone in need of pet sitting, day care, or dog walking. This was such an easy and great experience and we are so thankful to Waggy Trails for treating Bailey as one of their own!

We came here during a very stressful emergency with our pet and did receive medical treatment,…read moreincluding IV fluids and medications. The doctors appeared knowledgeable, and the clinical care itself was appropriate. However, the overall experience was cold, rushed, and overwhelming. Communication focused heavily on costs, paperwork, and internal process rather than comfort, reassurance, or clear explanation, even while we were visibly anxious. The interaction felt transactional rather than compassionate. At discharge, we were never clearly told how our cat responded to treatment or why she was considered ready to go home. There was no explanation of her condition after fluids and medications, no reassurance about her stability, and no clear medical summary in plain language. We were left to assume she was okay simply because she was being discharged. While we were waiting for our cat, my daughter experienced low blood sugar. I clearly stated, "My daughter Hannah's blood sugar is low," and explained that I was worried about her condition. I asked if I could step out briefly and come back for our cat so I could take care of my daughter first. Instead of reassurance or acknowledgment of that urgency, the response was, "Let me check if she can be discharged now." The focus shifted to expediting our cat's discharge rather than accommodating a child's medical emergency. I had to follow up because of the urgency of my daughter's condition. Our cat was then discharged without clear communication that she was medically ready and without being allowed additional time to rest after treatment. In that moment, it felt like process and payment were prioritized over situational awareness, empathy, and basic human compassion. In an emergency setting, medical treatment alone is not enough. Clear communication, empathy, and human awareness matter just as much. Unfortunately, we did not feel supported as pet owners or as parents facing a medical emergency with our child. I hope this clinic seriously reevaluates its bedside manner and client communication, because emergencies require humanity, not just procedures.

January 3, 2026…read more Today we had to say goodbye to our sweet 16-year-old Shih Tzu, Charlie. Lincoln Veterinarian Pet Clinic handled this heartbreaking day with exceptional kindness and professionalism. Irene was truly remarkable. She was patient and compassionate all morning, and each time I called, she recognized my voice and spoke with such care. That alone brought comfort during an incredibly painful time. The entire staff was gentle, prompt, and respectful, treating Charlie with dignity and us with sincere empathy. We are profoundly thankful for the compassion shown on one of the hardest days imaginable. Thank you so very much.

If I could rate a place 0 stars this would be the place…read more I have never ever had a horrible experience at a veterinary until I came here. I only came to this vet because of a referral from my breeder. Not only did they make me wait over an hour once, but twice!! TWICE. The first time after my breeder had took my puppy to the vet, we were scheduled for the second round of shots. During that appointment we still had to wait an hour. If I have an appointment shouldn't I been seen at the set appointment time? If there was a waiting period after checking in why was there no updates? Oh okay...They made us do an exam and we did, after that we were able to get our shots and we were scheduled for the last set vaccine that was supposed to be for today. Since shots are supposed to be taken at a specific time frame we were stressed and determined to get it done the date we had scheduled in advanced. After waiting a hour + they finally decided to open their mouth and communicate and say that my puppy needs another exam and this is their policy and the shots cannot be given. How convenient after a whole hour of waiting.. You decide to bring up your policy about how he can't have his shots and no you cannot have an exam the same day even though you had the 1130 slot filled for my appointment you wanna cancel.. After I was waiting in the lobby for over a hour.. Nice!!! ( They already gave him shots from the previous visit so not sure why I would need to pay another $67 for an outpatient visit. So not only did this frustrate me since I have already paid wayyy over the regular amount for vaccines / appointments they want to waste my time, and overcharge me and also not give a single fuck about my dog's scheduled vaccine appointment. What happened to vets not being a cash grab and actually caring about their animals and the paying customers. ( I have paid $100+ for only 3 visits ) If you think about taking your pets here don't.
