I have bought parts from this place before. I will no longer do any business with this company. I received an email inviting me to call them if I needed any help at all. I called them to ask about a simple part for a pool filter assembly. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes or so, a lady answered and very rudely declared that they do not offer any technical or product support for pool owners. This totally contradicts the email I received offering help of any kind. This company absolutely sucks and I will never again do business with them. Unless you enjoy being dismissed in the rudest way and hypocritely being denied the help that they offered by email, in my opinion you should stay away from this company at all costs. Bought 300 dollar drive motor from pool Zoom for Dolphin Nautalis CC Plus. Worked for three days then stopped. They said I had to deal with Maytronics who owns Dolphin. I just wanted drive motor exchanged. Maytronics wanted my whole unit sent in. Pool Zoom made one call to try to help then I was on my own. Ordered Polaris part G52 backup valve kit online on Sat. and was to arrive by Tues. I needed it by Fri. morning so my pool guy could install it. Tues. I never received it so contacted Pool Zoom and was told could see my order and that part was in my city's warehouse-San Antonio so I should receive it Wednesday. Wed came and no product yet and received an email that won't receive the part until Fri. night 9pm. Contacted Pool Zoom again and rep stated couldn't do anything about it. Super slow support. Almost like they are waiting for you to give up. Almost a full month to get this straight. They sent me a totally different part finally too a month to get the correct one which was ordered correct in the first place. I ordered the wrong filter which was my fault. it took them 2 weeks to send me a return label which I had to pay for return shipping.(Understandably) But they never itemized the return so I'm not sure what I was refunded and how they got to that number. I did Absolutely ZERO contact from the company until I got an email on 4/23 that it had shipped. That was actually just them printing the label and it didn't ship until 4/24. Received 4/26, which is fine except the website said I would get it 5-6 days sooner and that is what I was relying on for installation of the part. Terrible company. They list a cable as being compatible with a dolphin pool robot but it was not. It attaches and powers the unit but it is the wrong cord per Maytronics. They fully admitted this but refused to exchange the wire because they said I opened and installed it. They told me to buy another cable from them. I would avoid them at all cost. In June I purchased a Polaris PB4 60 pump. I received it soon after, only to discover that the volute was leaking. I contacted PoolZoom and Rosenado had me send a photo and he contacted Polaris. In the mean time I purchased a drain plug locally thinking this might be the issue...it was not. About a month later I received a replacement Volute from PoolZoom and Polaris. Unfortunately, it too was leaking in the same spot, around the drain plug. Upon the suggestion of someone else, I applied a tiny smudge of white craft paint to the area, and wallah, on both volutes, at the drain plug, there was a fine hairline crack. I sent in photos to PoolZoom, and once again Rosenado responded back. He said that I was not the only customer who had this issue and that apparently it is a manufacturing issue with that batch of volutes. He said he would contact Polaris and get back to me. Well, that was about 4 months ago. I keep sending in inquiries, and NO ONE at PoolZoom is responding. I used to order all my replacement parts from PoolZoom, but after this last incident, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Bought a 2" Multiport Valve A0553645 from them. They claimed it was the actual "Jandy" branded part. I went to install it, and it would not fit. For other reasons I had been contact with Jandy, so I reached back out to them. After several attempts to confirm why it did not fit, the gentleman asked if the Jandy name was on the top. I explained it was not and he confirmed that it was not a Jandy piece rather a knockoff by someone. Returning was extremely frustrating and getting the refund required multiple attempts too. Only to find out they did not refund the full price. Therefore, I am writing this review, following up with a call and documentation to Jandy and the BBB for what I believe is false advertising. read more

Recently, I decided I wanted to purchase a robotic pool cleaner to assist my Polaris with capturing the fine silt on the bottom of the pool that the Polaris bag will not catch. I did a ton of research on robotic pool cleaners before going to a couple of locations to look at the actual product. I was hesitant to buy one from Amazon because I like to deal with local vendors as well as ensure I can have the item serviced. In addition to Pool Zoom, I spoke with a couple of pool supply vendors in San Antonio about robotic pool cleaners. The online reviews and descriptions had me more confused than when I started--the ratings were all over the place. The other local vendors I visited had displays of Dolphin robotic pool cleaners but, due to supply chain issues, they had none for immediate sale. When I went to Pool Zoom, I spoke with Kayla, John, and Jerry during the two times I visited there. They were all three very knowledgeable of the pros and cons of each model and we finally arrived at a solution for my specific pool design. Within a week of my last visit, they called and advised that they had received a shipment of the Pentair 920 Prowler robotic pool cleaners which was the solution we had decided on. I was able to go in, pick it up, receive a detailed briefing on set up and operation. In addition, they were readily available by phone to answer several follow on questions. They were always very friendly and glad to help. Bottom Line: Based on my previous interactions with the Pool Zoom staff, I'm confident I made the right choice in purchasing my robotic pool cleaner from this vendor. I ordered a sand filter online and paid via Paypal. Within minutes a tracking number was generated and I received an email stating my item had shipped. When I tried to track the item the next day, and for several days thereafter, it showed only that the tracking number was created, UPS had not received the item. After several days I contacted Poolzoom by email and was told the item was shipped, but UPS doesn't scan "every single package" it picks up from the warehouse. A couple days later there was still no tracking update. I confirmed with UPS that they did not have the filter. I then contacted Poolzoom via online chat. Jon told me the item shipped the day prior. I reminded him that he had told me via email that it had shipped days ago. He apologized for the misinformation. I asked him to check the warehouse record to see when it actually left. He told me the warehouse doesn't keep record of what leaves the warehouse, only tracking numbers. I asked to cancel the order and was told it couldn't be canceled because it had shipped. Next day I tried again and Jon told me he would check with the warehouse and email me back. In the meantime I checked reviews and learned that they had done this with other customers ... they generate a tracking number to receive payment from PayPal but don't ship the item. After learning that I filed a dispute with PayPal. Low and behold, within a couple hours I heard from Dan, the manager, and magically the order was now able to be canceled and refunded. This company came to me endorsed by my pool servicer so I didn't check reviews. After my experience, reading reviews and discovering their "F" rating with the BBB, I will never overlook reviews again. I hope my review saves at least one unfortunate victim from their scam. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! By far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I ordered a Hayward Pool Shark and Cart. Never received any updates with shipping information, etc. It showed up on my doorstep one day (thankfully). I opened both boxes and went to assemble the cart that goes along with the pool shark and it is missing the wheelcaps. So, I contact customer service and was told they would send them out to me immediately and I would receive a confirmation email shortly. a couple of days pass and no confirmation email. So, I reach out to customer service again and now they ask me to send pics of the cart and they will send me the wheel caps and a confirmation email. So, I take the pics and wait for my confirmation email....no email. So, after a couple of days I reach out again and am told Hayward has not responded to them, but they will keep trying to get me the wheel caps and will email me before the end of the day....no email. SO, I reach out again today and ask what the status is. They tell me that I need to ship the entire cart back and once they receive it they will ship me a new one. WHAT????!!!! It has been almost a month since I received the shark and the cart and I have long since thrown out the boxes and packing material because Pool Zoom assured me multiple times that they were sending the wheel caps. So, they tell me to go buy a box and packing materials, pack it up and ship it back. When I explain that is not an option and they need to fix this without me having to ship everything back, they tell me to call Hayward myself. So much for customer service. I purchased genuine Polaris hose and a back up valve for my 360 vacuum the end of June. I had generic hose on my vacuum but needed some new and thought I would see if the actual Polaris stuff was better. Within 3 minutes of running the unit with the new parts the first section of hose blew apart. I put an old section of hose in and ran it, and the next section of Polaris hose blew apart. I finally had to replace all the Polaris hose with the generic hose I originally had. Contacted customer service, sent photos and data on my vacuum in July. Got an update in the beginning of August that Polaris will send replacements since they had a defect. End of August still nothing. I have been following up every few weeks to see what's going on and I get no response. I paid over $180 for plastic hose by Polaris and I am using the stuff I bought from Amazon that I originally had on the unit. read more

I ordered supplies April 28th. They were suppose to be delivered May 6. UPS arrived delivering another package said he couldn't find one of my packages (from Poolzoom). I waited 2 days to give them time to find it allowing for the COVID excuse. Spent all morning trying to reach Poolzoom. No phones answered. Ignored emails and chat box. Pretty worthless customer service. I would never order from them again. There are much faster pool suppliers with far better customer service. Order at your own risk!! I placed an order for a pool pump and paid via PayPal. PayPal's policy is clear: The seller cannot charge you unless the item has been shipped. Guess what? They charged me and 10 days after paying for it, no pool pump! The phone call to their "customer service" line went nowhere and after hitting all the prompts, it just hangs up on you. Then, off to the "chat line," which is a joke! After waiting forever, they said they'd look into the issue and email me. Nothing day 1, day 2 or day 3 after chatting with three separate, very disinterested "chat people." Then, I asked for a refund and they said the item had shipped. Apparently, they "create" a shipping label, then charge you and never mail the product. Sounds like fraud too me! UPS confirmed that they did NOT take possession of any package with that tracking number! What??! So, they're either incompetent, dishonest or both. Either way, they will never get my business again and I have contacted PayPal and filed a complaint. Let's see how quickly they return my money! My verdict: PoolZoom is absolutely horrible and if you do business with them, do so at your own risk! Don't be fooled by their nice-looking website. Long story short, this past Thursday (9/1) the lady at Poolzoom told me they stopped testing pool water for the past 1yr and a half because of the pandemic (although I've had my water tested there several times this year). She said Jerry (the owner) stopped testing and she doesn't know when they will start up. I am not sure why she wouldn't test my pool water sample (she had been testing water prior to me arriving because her testing bottles were out; she said she was testing rain water). I did tell her that I had my water tested in July so they have been testing since the pandemic. She kept saying she they no longer test the pool water. I did ask is it because of the color of my skin? When I got home I asked my neighbor if he had his water test there and he said yes; 2 or 3 months ago. I called the 888 number on the website and was told that they have not stopped testing the water (they send their online customers there every day). I did file a complaint with Poolzoom but they haven't called me back to address the matter. read more

Terrible customer service from this company. Had to call twice to initiate a return. Was not told of a $9.99 shipping label, which is now being taken off from the purchase. Item was received by them 3 weeks ago via UPS tracking and refund still not issued. Had to call 2 more times for the refund. Spoke with supervisor Ray, and he was extremely rude and condescending stating it was "my fault" for ordering a wrong size skimmer cover. He said they were being "very generous " by providing me with a $9.99 shipping label! I will never purchase anything from this company again.
