I hired Bluewater Pro Service before to service my rental home and they were a joke. Manager never cleaned up after himself and the pool techs did a ludicrous cleaning job. Rashad on the other hand is a great worker with a fantastic work ethic. This is a rental home so he willingly spoke to the tenant and gave a run down on how the care for the pool. I called Mitchell and Patrick at Pool Side Leak Detection. They came out within a week with a big trailer full of equipment to see what was going on with my pool. I hung out with the crew as they went from jet to jet, drain to drain, and carefully and diligently checked out every pipe, and every light to get to the bottom of the problem. I was super impressed when they brought out an underwater microphone to listen for drips. As they worked, they explained good pool practices, maintenance tips, they told me what they were doing, their line of reasoning for what they're doing. They answered all my crazy pool questions with a smile. I really appreciated the tutorials and info on the pool. In all, they had to break out the scuba equipment to find the leak- it was in the underwater light! They got in there with some 'bubblegum' and fixed it right up so it's watertight. It was a great value to have them out and saved me lots of money with otherwise having to search for the leak, which I'd have never found. They were upfront about expectations, pricing, and how they work. I am new to pools, so I really appreciated the crash course in pool mechanics and maintenance. Thursday we didn't get in, nor Friday, however, I did go out to test water temp and it was cold. It never heated. I tried to start the heat again, and the control panel would NOT work. Nothing came on, no lights, nothing. My husband texted our salesperson and I called the store. Apparently, our sales guy was busy with another customer. We got a call shortly after from the tech guy I guess. He asked if we reset, explained my husband had already done that AND checked the brackers AND tested the outlet with hair dryer. Still, nothing. correction hair dryer came on NOT tub. Then a woman called to set up a repair appointment, Monday is the soonest she said, ok find. Hung up, she called again. Apologized. And said Tuesday actually because she only had one repair guy. I'm FURIOUS at this point. Almost $6000.00 hot tub and nearing three month wait and NOW this. It's bullshit and we won't be back to this store to do anymore shopping. VERY VERY Disappointing! Oh ps.... upon delivery they forgot our steps and said they were on back order but I went to store second day, and our sales guy told us they had excess supply and didn't understand why they didn't bring it.
