The electrician, who later came out, checked the service and it was fine. I contacted Jimmy at All Knowledge Pool Service, and he was able to determine the sensors were keeping the hot tub from staying on. He further found a problem with the motor wiring that caused a "flo" error related to the first technician misconnecting the motor following his trouble shooting efforts. Communication with Jimmy was excellent throughout the process and I'm happy to have a working hot tub again.

When I was contacted by the business I was quoted $110/hr plus - specifically so I would be aware of the full cost/charge spectrum - the cost of any chemicals consumed. Upon receiving the bill, the time billed was well over the time the Technician was working on the pool. I challenged this with detail to the time he was here. In response I was nonchalantly told that the distance to my residence from their office was 'such a long drive' (Norman to NW OKC) so the time to get here was included. It was very easy for them to casually demand that after the fact, but apparently hard to think that was a cost customers should be aware of upfront. As I had been taking cost estimates from other providers for this job, this omission deceptively skewed their cost profile against their competition. As far as I'm concerned, they employed deceptive pricing and all around poor businesses practice. Will not recommend to anyone on a moral basis.

The first time we had Galaxy come out for a repair they diagnosed a bad pump. It costed $800, which didn't fix the problem. A couple of months go by and we have Galaxy come out again. This time Galaxy diagnoses the problem as a heating element and said it would cost $1500 to replace. We decided to find someone else this time. We called Affordable Spa Service, Marcos and his team were out to our house the very next day. As soon as they arrived on site they got to work. Within ten minutes they found the problem, a wire had been plugged in incorrectly. They still stayed the hour we paid for to ensure the hot tub heated up and everything functioned properly. This company acted very dishonest and the 'boyfriend / girlfriend' team both appeared and then sounded impaired. Girlfriend falling asleep on the job on initial visit. Very frustrating depending on contractors for work and then able to put a delay on our home closing, as well as having no regard for multiple parties involved. Came out the second time and said it was the gas pressure, which was actually fine btw. Had three different people verify it. Came again said to was still bad pressure, left it. Charged me 200 bucks and no heater. I finally paid fox pools. They figured it out right away. Heater fixed. Dont use these guys. Not customer oriented for sure. All they want is money.
