We moved into a house with a dinosaur level of old hot tub, something was found to not work in inspection and the old owners had someone "fix it" through their warranty. They did not fix it, at all. That's a whole other story I'll spare you. It was later mostly fixed. Then everything started falling apart after we got our own warranty, and the company we found who were also great sold it and closed up shop. Recently I went to clean the spa to refill it, and noticed it was literally falling apart. I had to stop cleaning it as I couldn't, so I jumped on here to try and find help, most responses I got said they weren't taking on new clients. Enter DJ and amber. Heaven sent magical beings. DJ gave me a fair estimate to replaster and paint it, came back maybe 6 times in 2 weeks to get it all done, was beyond responsive, hilarious, fun, my doggie loves him, and he's the type of guy I'd 110% be friends with. I was away while he finished fixing it up, and got endless updates in text and picture form and appreciated it more than I could express. I recently got home and found out the company sent by the warranty to fix the heater and the pump did neither of them. So I called DJ and he said he'd be over in 20 minutes to take a look. This guy is my hero, and though the issues are still bad and we're still getting bs runaround responses from companies, I feel safer and better knowing that when it comes down to it he'll make sure everything gets done. After being screwed over and burned by so many contractors over the years, it's so incredible to find someone who goes beyond above and beyond to get the jobs done. I don't ever wanna use another company as long as I have a pool or spa in my yard in Vegas.

Unfortunately, the service since then has been extremely disappointing. We've had multiple technicians come out, some spending much of the visit loudly talking on the phone, and they're routinely in and out in less than 15 minutes. The photos speak for themselves. Their apparent solution has repeatedly been to simply add more chlorine. We tested the water ourselves, and the chlorine level was so high that the pool was not safe or usable for swimming. Meanwhile, the pool has deteriorated to the point that Splash Pools is now quoting us to drain and acid wash it, rather than addressing how it was allowed to get into this condition while under their care. One technician blamed our trees, despite the fact that our home and mature landscaping have been here since the late '90s and our pool has never looked remotely this bad. I reached out directly to Stephen again using the number he specifically gave me for future issues and received no response. I've also contacted the company, and instead of resolving the underlying service problem, the primary response I've received is a quote for additional work. It's incredibly frustrating to pay for ongoing pool maintenance, end up with a pool that looks like this and cannot safely be used, and then be asked to pay even more to correct the condition that developed while they were responsible for maintaining it.

We suspected a leak in/around our pool for a while. Had 2 different leak detection services come…read moreout and tell us no! We finally found out the plastic fitting to our autofill was cracked. Sharp pool service was recommended. Jose came out, verified the fitting was not repairable and gave us a quote to cut the deck, jackhammer out the concrete and replace the pvc pipe and replace the broken fitting. The price was fair. While doing the work Jose called me out to the pool and showed me that he also found the skimmer box was cracked and it too was leaking. We added that repair to their to-do list. They cut more of our deck out and continued jackhammering the concrete in place to hold the skimmer and auto fill in place. They replaced/repaired everything and poured new concrete deck. We looked at the patch and decided after 25 years, it was time to recoat our entire deck. Again, Jose gave me a fair price. The next day Pablo came out and started working. He ground off all the old coating, cleaned and sealed the concrete deck. He spayed the new texture coating and paint matched our house as requested. He did a fantastic job. I had no idea it would be so labor intensive, especially in the 110° heat. They are finished now and we are so happy. No more leaking pool and our deck looks brand new. I did not hesitate to call Shark Pool Services. The did a fantastic job once again. It was a difficult job but they were excellent once again. When they were finished the left the entire pool spotless so that I could start adding water without me having to clean anything up. Also, the job was finished in less that a week. That's pretty amazing for an entire refurbishment. I love these guys and will not hesitate to recommend them or use them when any repair is necessary.

Big mistake... within just a couple days the pool turned green (see pic). Ace Pools came out a day after I called to give me a quote to get us back on track. We ended up needing to drain the pool and do an acid wash for the staining that had happened. They were able to get it done quickly and the pool was brand new again! We also signed up for their pool service. They come out weekly to check/adjust chemicals and handle all the other pool maintenance. We are still working on getting rid of the pigeons :( but our water stays beautiful with their help and all we have to worry about is our tan lines. Totally worth the money!
