They created a drain system and found a solution to a complicated problem. Our property had some low points and they were able to bring in loam and level our entire yard. You would never know we used to have any issues. Cape Edge was nothing but professional, timely, and very communicative throughout the whole process. Most importantly, they were very reasonable price wise. I highly recommend them for any projects.

The last part was what I feared would cost us a small fortune ... removing the HUGE oak stumps. The were massive!! We called several companies - including local companies - they either did not call us back or their rate was literally higher than our mortgage payment!!! We came across Cape Edge and said what the hell - can't be any worse than what we had already heard. Jarrod was awesome to deal with!! He returned our call in a timely manner. He was very professional. Jarrod came to the house - spoke with my husband and explained his thoughts and what his "plan" would be. Jarrod gave us a rough estimate and said he would get back to us with a firm estimate that afternoon. A man of his word - we got our estimate and immediately hired him! Jarrod showed up to do the job when he said he would. The stumps were gone and the holes were filled in!! We still have a lot of putting our yard back together but thanks to Cape Edge Development we are well on our way!!!

I hired Mike Andrews to replace my heat/cooling pump. I told him I wanted the best, most efficient…read moresystem I could get. Mike installed the unit with the promise that he would always service it. After installing the unit, I asked for an invoice. He refused. I asked for the manual. He told me he gave it to me and pointed to the installation instructions. Then, he told me it was probably in the box in the van. Then, he said I could get it online. I went online and found out that he sold me a soon to be discontinued unit. He charged me $1500 more than he should have absolutely knew that, if I knew it was discontinued, I would never have paid for the unit. He denied it was being discontinued in 2 months yet it stated just that on the website of the manufacturer. He installed a thermostat and left a hole in the wall. When I tried to get in touch with him, he disappeared. He is a liar and a cheat. If you use Cape State Heating and Cooling, you'd better expect problems, especially from Mike Andrews.

I was a bit shocked at first however they are doing a lot more work than I even imagined. Example; my home is antique and well over 100 years old. Reinforcing and leveling the floor took about 2 weeks but when the project was done the floor repair was totally necessary and added so much to the finished result. Also if you are hoping the project will be done in a few weeks, it might, however the bigger the project the more chance for delays. Pros: I was communicating with a team of extremely competent people. Each is a specialist in a narrow field. Greg has an incredible sense of design and really digs into the details. Sonja handles the crew that does the prep, construction and heavy lifting. Mylia coordinates all products to be ordered. Special shout out to Bill who handles anything going on with all the crews. He returns your text or call in a minute or less and remembers every detail of your project. No regrets for me.

Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. I am so glad I was able to do this renovation with Cape & Islands Kitchens!

My mom had a pool installed by another company that unfortunately did a terrible job. The situation was a mess. Thankfully, John came to the rescue. He and his team evaluated the damage, clearly explained everything my mom would need to replace, and got to work right away. John was prompt, professional, and very reasonably priced. In just two short visits, they completely turned things around. The pool now looks amazing! Huge thanks to A-1 Quality Installs for saving the day. I'll definitely be referring you to all our family and friends! (Check out the photos -- Top/Left shows the original mess, and Bottom/Right shows A-1's magic touch!)
