He was very professional. Jarrod came to the house - spoke with my husband and explained his thoughts and what his "plan" would be. Jarrod gave us a rough estimate and said he would get back to us with a firm estimate that afternoon. A man of his word - we got our estimate and immediately hired him! Jarrod showed up to do the job when he said he would. The stumps were gone and the holes were filled in!! We still have a lot of putting our yard back together but thanks to Cape Edge Development we are well on our way!!!

Mike installed the unit with the promise that he would always service it. After installing the unit, I asked for an invoice. He refused. I asked for the manual. He told me he gave it to me and pointed to the installation instructions. Then, he told me it was probably in the box in the van. Then, he said I could get it online. I went online and found out that he sold me a soon to be discontinued unit. He charged me $1500 more than he should have absolutely knew that, if I knew it was discontinued, I would never have paid for the unit. He denied it was being discontinued in 2 months yet it stated just that on the website of the manufacturer. He installed a thermostat and left a hole in the wall. When I tried to get in touch with him, he disappeared. He is a liar and a cheat. If you use Cape State Heating and Cooling, you'd better expect problems, especially from Mike Andrews.

Needed to add a kitchen and two full baths, as well as closets, move beam and add a laundry area. It came out fantastic. This group--from Tracey Perry's help with design (amazing!) to Mike Heinrich's detailed budget which they stuck to and Bill Schmidt's communication on every detail, it was actually a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this group. In between my two projects with Cape & Islands Kitchens I did another property with a well known, popular Falmouth builder (hint: begins with an "L"). It was a DISASTER. Do not be fooled by the lower initial numbers--you will pay in the end and the quality of work will suffer. My pool has never had a leaking problem until after they serviced it. I reached out to the owner hoping to resolve the situation, but instead of listening to my concerns, he told me to refill the entire pool "to see if it drains again." I explained that I didn't want to waste money refilling thousands of gallons of water just to watch it leak out, and his response was, "it doesn't cost that much. You live in Barrington, not East Providence," implying that I should just be able to afford the cost. It was condescending, rude, and completely unprofessional. I also explained, as a business owner in the trades myself, that I understand callbacks can be frustrating, but we just needed help resolving the problem. Instead of working with us, he told me he would charge a service fee--despite the fact that the issue only began after they closed the pool. The owner took zero accountability and dismissed everything I said. The lack of customer service, respect, and responsibility is extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable or professional pool services.
