We also met with others who had used pool plus to install their pools. The installation was more difficult than anticipated because of a very high water table on our property. Pools Plus took the extra effort to overcome that issue. We have enjoyed our pool over the last 3 years and routinely receive compliments. Recently, one section of the concrete coping developed a large crack and some of the wall tiles below the crack fell off and needed to be replaced. Pools Plus evaluated the problem and fixed the issues over the next 3 weeks. The best part is that they took responsibility for the issue and charged nothing for the repair. Hard to find that kind of service today.

(704) 363-0500 But for some crazy reason you still decided to go with pools plus ,here is what ya need to know . 1- You cant be a timid or shy person ,They would do whatever they want. 2-If ya have other obligations ,ya'd need to put it aside and dedicate ur full attention to this project ,by watching everything they do in ur house . 3-Ya need to make sure all ur communication , goes directly with Owner since day one , not salesperson not the office ppl not anyone.Get his cell's # and don't lose it. The office people are freaking thugs they'd argue ,scream at you and hang up on you... 4- When ya sign the contract ,do not agree to arbitration only, ya can not forfeit ur right to sue ,cant stress this enough,They'd Freaking damage your house Call their bluff and walk away . If they do quality work ,then they'd have nothing to worry about . 5- Make sure they'd rent a porter potty and pads for ur lawn ,ya have to include these 2 items in the contract. because they will destroy your lawn and they will use your backyard as a bathroom 6-Make sure ya get a a written timeline for the entire project,detailing and dating every stage of the install,OtherwiseYour project could take months 7-Mark all sprinklers, and run them right before they start ,and right after the finish,make them aware of that Also. If you don't ,they'll just run your sprinkles over And won't even tell you about it ,they'd just Bury it. 8-I think everyone who's laying a pool should do this,regardless of what company ya may hire,since this is an expensive project and non of us know about pools,protect ur investment ,by hiring a second pool company to double check the work quality .this may cost ya few hundreds but it's well worth it. 9- make sure that ya know your pool's manufacturer contact info, The same goes for Better Business Bureau,and don't hesitate to call them if ya suspect poor quality work. 10-carefully read all reviews and listen to ur instinct and heart .and remember ya get what ya paid for. 11 .Make sure your sales person it's not Kimberly ,she knows nothing about pools. We need to stop these gangsters from Abusing and scamming other citizens ,even run them out of business,If possible . My wife had brought our official plot plan -- an actual surveyed document of our property -- and was told Melissa "couldn't even talk to her" unless she also had photos of the yard. Not asked for additional info -- told she couldn't proceed at all, despite having the more precise and useful document in hand. My wife called me on the phone during the appointment, and Melissa's rude tone came through clearly even secondhand. I told her directly: based on how she was speaking to my wife, it was obvious she didn't actually want our business. She didn't disagree. Instead she hung up on me. If this is the level of customer service you get just trying to give this company money, I can't imagine what happens once you're a paying customer stuck in a contract with them. Mike was incredibly thorough with equipment installation and all that we needed to know to ensure we ran the equipment as it should be run. Additionally, when we had an issue with the pool, not pumping properly and we could not reach our pool contractor, Mike came out to the house within 15 minutes to help diagnose and solve the issue. In the future if we need any type of maintenance on our pool equipment, we will definitely be calling Skeeter again.

Well when someone tells you a price includes installation my understanding of that means the labor to install that part is included. Mike first arrived at 12:46 PM to diagnose the problem and was done and pulling away from the site by 4:33 PM so from start to finish he was on site for three hours and 47 minutes and there is proof on camera footage. Mike then proceeded to turn around and bill for 4 hours of labor in addition to the overinflated price of the part. So how was the installation included in the part price? Double billed for labor, did additional work without letting the homeowner know the cost, then makes false threatening posts online that he didn't get paid making him look like some sort of victim when he did get paid but his shady double charging was questioned. About three years ago Mike was great I guess times got tough and he started taking advantage of people thinking they didn't know any better. If you're going to use him, read his bills, he will overcharge you.

He quickly went to work cleaning our pool and starting the process to restore the green murky water back to the crystal clear appearance we had before our pump issue. Next, Lou restarted our pump, examined it, and expertly figured out what was causing it not to hold a prime. Lou has honesty and integrity, which is hard to find nowadays. He could have led us to believe we needed a much more expensive repair, but had the integrity to fix our problem inexpensively. Lou not only fixed our initial problem with the pump, but he returned the next day, and again after the weekend, to check on and continue to improve the condition of the water. I had a leak from one of the pvc pipes which Lou promptly figured out what the problem was, and cleaned out the green algae in the pool as well. By the time he was finished, the leak was fixed and the pool was crystal clear again. He's extremely friendly, knowledgeable, as well as affordable, and offered tips on how to properly maintain the pool before he left. Don't hesitate to call him. You'll get a response (unlike alot of the other places around), and the issue will get fixed, as Lou not only does maintenance, he does repair as well. I'll be calling him again if/ when I need him.
