First, when I book an hour massage and include 2 add ons (dry brush and foot scrub), I don't expect them to be bundled within my one hour massage. It should be an hour massage plus the add-ons. My girlfriend was fine with hers (except for reason above), but 2 issues with mine. First, Kaitlyn did ask me if I wanted any area to have special attention and I said my scalp. Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no. There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and one person walked in when we were leaving. I emailed the owner to share this (not requesting a refund but as a head's up) and never heard back.

I had her do my hair for my wedding and was shocked at the great updo I got. Not because I doubt her skills but because I have the worlds finest hair but even after a full day of things to do and dancing all night my hair was still perfect. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with such an important day. She's also terrific with my constantly changing ideas for haircuts and makes suggestions along the way. The salon also invests in ongoing education for their stylists. It's a local place with lots of the same clientele in there. Most of the stylists have worked their for years and have a great repoire. I always enjoy my visits. I've had highlights, perms, updos and multiple hairstyles/haircuts all successfully and happily completed. The one time I wasn't happy with my hair and tried to live with it and then could get back for weeks, Jamey made a point of reminding me I didn't need to live with it, but should have come in earlier and she would have fixed it. Since I change my hairstyle about every 10-12 months I always give myself 2-4 weeks to adjust to a new style. So it was my own fault I lived with it...but it's nice to hear a stylist say "hey you didn't need to do that, I'd have fixed it for you!!!" By the time I got back to her my hair had grown out and we started fresh and I walked out smiling ear to ear.

I bought a promo from LivingSocial for facial, which included exfoliation for my hands & feet. Right from the start, she was trying to up-sell me for a different costly treatment. When I said to just do what's included in my package, her mood was immediately turned off. She hardly did anything on my face, then put a cold towel and told me to wait 5 mins while she left the room. She came back in and quickly to put a scrub on the top of my hands and feet and told me my facial was done. There was no exfoliation of any sorts done on my hands or feet. I don't know why they even bother to put up a voucher. Please save your money and go somewhere else with better service.
