Finally installed in October so we did not start up (Our mistake). Opened in May and have multiple leaks in plumbing. Very unhappy with the service Greg has provided to my mother. He and his company saw an older woman with money who didn't have a clue what she was doing and took full advantage of her. The pallets the rock wall was delivered on sat here for several months and didn't get picked up until I left a Google review. They never put the salt in the pool. They never came out and showed her how to use the filtration system. The concrete was cracked within 2 months. The light doesn't work. His guys left a trailer parked across the street at the church and Greg was unaware of it. Once my mom paid off her over $100,000 pool (before everything was completed) they ran. They never reached back out to her until I left a 1 star Google review. They then reached out the next day. I'm disappointed that's what it took. Unfortunately my experience with Greg was not very good. I really liked him when we got started on the phone. Found him knowledgeable. Communicative. And he earned my business at first. But that is where the positive stopped. Fast forward through a botched installation by a team that admittedly had never done it before. Damage to my home physically. Damage to my fence and yard. Swim spa installed incorrectly. Numerous promises to show up on site for a site survey or to help fix the problem. Greg has never been to my property even though part of our arrangement was that he would perform a site survey and oversee the installation himself. When I suggested to his crew that he might show up, they laughed at me. I was the sucker. The crew damaged the electrical wire during the first botched install. Note that I used his recommend electrician. A new wire was needed because the spa was installed on top of the wires. Yes, on top. He wanted to charge me 150 for a new wire claiming that the wire wasn't initially long enough. Convenient now that the wire was damaged. Fortunately I had photographs. Given the physical damage to my property, I figured that when I needed service I would get it. I got a terse response when the heater went out that I needed to clear my tab first. He spent more time arguing with me then replacing the $30 part that I got off of Amazon. There is no other way to put this. I thought I was getting a good deal with some quality service but I got the shaft. Send me an email for photos, details, email exchanges between he and I. I would caution you to look at all your options before you select this company. I hate writing negative reviews because I realize they put a nail in the coffin of a relationship. And as a small business owner, they can make the difference between earning a customer, keeping a customer, or losing one. But at this point, i feel sorry strongly about how poorly I was treated that there is no recourse for me. I have absolutely no desire to deal with Greg or his company ever again. Wow. What a ride. There really is so much to say, but I will attempt to keep it as simple as possible. I paid around $42,000 for an inground pool, and here what I've learned. DO YOUR RESEARCH! I cannot stress how important it is. Read these reviews, get on Yelp, get on the Better Business Bureau. Call and visit your local pool maintenance companies. Greg(owner) has been in this for a long time and has a reputation. Buying this pool was easy, getting it was a complete organizational nightmare. Far and beyond, the hardest things to deal with was their lack of organization, punctuality, and the utter failure to communicate even sparsely without have to be chased down. Organization - I don't even know where to begin here. When you sign the contract, make sure you understand what you are getting. Build yourself a checklist based on the "options" you select. They misrepresented certain items, attempted to install inferior items despite paying for upgrades, and even failed to install things all together. The biggest issue? I was the one to find it all. Had I not decided to micromanage this situation, I would have paid for thousands in upgrades that were never installed. I don't know who does the build-out or sets up the operations, but it is clear that no one is checking behind the crews to ensure that customers are actually getting what they paid for. To this day, the only person to come out during the build other than the builder was Dan, and that was to either get a check or confirm that a measurement I disputed was correct. They attempted to charge me almost $1000 dollars for concrete that was never poured. This entire business needs an overhaul in structure and management. Punctuality & Communication - I went into this with no expectation of a speedy completion. We had a tentative start date of May 20th or so, and it started a month late, no big deal. We were given a tentative completion of 6 weeks, it took about 8. Again, not a big deal. What is a big deal is that they almost NEVER showed when they said they would. Maybe the first day. Once they completed the work, they would tell us that they would be back tomorrow morning, then nothing. No call to let us know that something had changed and when they would be back - NOTHING. We would shoot a text asking to advise if we can move the cars back to the driveway (HOA fun). They would go days without responding or showing up. Then they would just show up at 730 A.M. with no notice at all. This went on the entire time. Again, I'm not pressuring to get it done, just do what you say, and if something changes, let us know. I have a kid in school, a baby at home, the wife needs to plan her day etc. A little planning and just a single update regularly would have been excellent. This never changed to the very end. Once the pool was done, there were a few items left to complete. It was a battle just getting that done. I finally washed my hands of them. They came out to finish up, still doing a half-ass job, but I am so over dealing with them that I will finish it myself. It is absolutely PATHETIC to have to send multiple messages and make multiple calls and leave voicemails just to get a simple update. They would go days without answering at some points. Overall - My pool (so far) is great. Everything appears to be working properly. Unfortunately I better understand what Dan said many times - "judge us on the finished product". One could only hope that this would be all they are judged by, because it would be a 5-start review. However, this is the most difficult $42,000 I have ever spent. The entire process was riddled with what felt like complete incompetency. I want to reiterate that I hold ownership and upper management completely responsible for the negativity portrayed here. Our builder did what he was supposed to, build a great pool. Is it his fault that they sent the wrong pool initially? Or that the X-bracing was never installed? Or that the wrong pump and filter were sent? Is it his fault that he didn't show when he said he would? Not in my opinion. These issues are a direct result of management failure. I could go on and on, but I hope the picture is painted here. This company has a nifty sales process where they will show you prices and options. Bear in mind there is some trickery here. Pools do not come with steps - so add $2500 - its probably more now. Again, make a checklist if you agree to upgrades and confirm those upgrades yourself because no one else is going to do it. Remember that this project needs to be managed, and this company will not do that. YOU are paying them and YOU will also need to manage the project. Do not allow ego or anything in your mind to let you believe that you will get to pay big money and watch this thing come to fruition. If you do, it will take months, and you will lose your mind. Though our experience with this company so far has been incredibly disappointing, we are still hoping that we can resolve this matter in a professional and time efficient manner. On June 3rd, 2020 we paid the down payment for our pool, and by the beginning of July paid for remainder (minus installation fee). We were told we could expect to have pool installed at the beginning of August, due to everyone getting a pool this year because of Covid, and we felt that this was completely reasonable. August came and past and we had to call them to find out it would be longer yet for installation. In the beginning of September, pool installers show up, but without a liner, ladder and correct pump. We were told the liner would be in on the following Monday, and Monday came and went with no liner. We waited two weeks and then had to settle for a different type of liner as the process was already being prolonged. The liner was installed carelessly as well because there's are many wrinkles throughout. We have called more than once and spoke with our salesman named Dan, and were told that someone would call back. The following weekend after the installation was completed, we noticed that the pump was not the upgraded version we paid for. We called and were told it was on back order..."on a slow boat from China." Just when you think there couldn't be more going wrong with this installation, we noticed that there are dents around the bottom of the pool siding. This makes us question the integrity of the structure of the pool. We have spoken to the same employee, Dan, on this matter and have been told someone will be out to fix it... Only to have no one show up since September 17th (6 whole weeks and still waiting) after being told someone would. We have spoken to the owner, Greg, at one point and he made a promise that he did not fulfill, stating they had other repairs to attend to. As previously stated we are still hoping to resolve this matter in a professional and time-conscientious manner, but making phone call after phone call has not gotten us anywhere. We will continue to take steps until this is resolved, as we feel it's a businesses' obligation to us customers to uphold standards of quality and professionalism. read more

Love this place we got a pool timer from Greg it worked great for a while then one day it stopped working I called Greg up and told him what had happened and no questions asked he said bring it back and we will swap for a new one super great people and company you won't be disappointed going here for you pool shopping needs !!! We got a 24' round pool from them earlier this year 2019 best experience ever !!! Highly recommend getting a pool timer makes life some much easier!!! Now we just need to get pool light from them it looks like they have a good selection of them so everyone should check them out for that too I know we will !!! read more

First of all I'm not a Karen and it is rare for me to complain BUT Absolutely at ALL cost do NOT use this company!!! And wait for the end it's the best part! My parents had their pool relined a couple months ago and not Only did the employee do a botched job costing $1500 but he lied and said a new skimmer was $200 cash only....my dad then called the owner and the owner (infront of my dad) called the employee upset because he was scamming customers out of money under the table (the skimmer was supposed to be free)...it get better! The said employee then goes to fill the pool while my parents are out of town and leaves the water running for days ....yes days....then he calls my dad while they are on vacation apologizing...a month later and extra $800 was added to their water bill for the employee accidentally leaving the water on! My parents call the company and they are refusing to do anything about their mistakes or to even help cover the water bill THEY caused after trying to steal $200 cash! On top of all of they said the walls wouldn't hold and they can't put the skimmer on and THEY CAVED A WALL AND DID DAMAGE.....ALLLLLLL OF THAT AND STILL NO POOL!!!! Now a little info on my parents they adopted 4 young children (ages 2-7) the last thing in the world they needed was a company trying to steal money and then cause an additional $800 problem...it was pretty much handled as a "to bad so sad" situation....I am disgusted that such people could still be in business! I'm happy that I did, the process was simple, everyone was friendly and professional, I can't recall a single instance where I felt they did not have my best interest at heart. The final result is beautiful and I'm happy with my decision more than ever now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! First off, I wanna say I'm a commercial plumbing contractor/ business owner. Literally construction is my day to day routine. I have 36 employees. With that being said this has been the worst contract I have entered into out of building 2 personal houses and millions of plumbing work. I put in a fiberglass pool that was supposed to take 4-8 weeks. They started the last week of August 2020, they just finished up February 2021. Greg, the owner is a complete liar. The water truck he sent hit my house. The pool drained down twice because the laminars leaked out, and then sent a guy to put in the safety cover that drilled 13 holes in the wrong place. As if that isn't enough we decided the only way to fix the concrete from looking like a patch job was to put down a pool deck finish. The day after they started the deck finish Greg decide to text me that I owed him $3995 for the painting of the deck. A screw up on his part he wanted me to pay for half of it. None of this came easy, it was like pulling teeth to try to get him to fulfill his part of the contract the whole entire project. Being a contractor I was smart enough to get his insurance certificate and called his insurance company about the pool deck. He only has "sales" insurance the agent told me, no installation insurance. He is crooked and will try to get over on a customer if he can. I wish I would have read the reviews first also wish I would have read the comments on his company Facebook page as well. If you look closely on the Google reviews it is like he has paid for the good reviews because a lot of the reviews come from people that have only reviewed the pool company and the "uhaul" business at the same location. The guy is a hack and in my opinion not a good business person or person in general. This is my first pool and I don't know what pool company to us, but I suggest you not use this company unless you want disappointment after disappointment. read more

As I read these reviews, I can't help but wonder how in the hell he is still in business. All of these issues I have experienced myself. He doesn't even deserve a 1 star review. We purchased an above ground pool in February 2021. We were told it would be installed and ready for summer by April. They came late April to install it, already a month behind. Told us they would be here by 8 am, finally showed up at 4:30. Didn't get anything done, but damage to the pool. He didn't have up to date tags on his trailer so it was pulled over by GSP. They came in A Uhaul truck. Threw (literally) the pool, the wall and all the pieces out of the back of the truck. It dented an 18 in long deep cut in yhe wall of a brand new pool. We were going to let it slide. As time progressed they came back 2 weeks later to finish. Once the pool was up, it was 4 inches off level on 2 sides. We called Greg, he came to look. Tried to deny anything being wrong. I insisted it be fixed. It wasn't easy, but after a lot of lies and frustration he sent the same idiots back to fix what they had terribly messed up. They came back and did more damage the second time than they did the first time! The bottom of the pool had ruts so bad you could stub your toe! It was worse than a washed out dirt road! PATHETIC!!! Many more weeks of LIES, not answering calls and refusing to give me my money back. He finally agreed to give me a second pool and have a sub contractor to come and install it. Sub contractor had already told us bad stuff about Greg (the owner). He was playing sides. Sub contractor installed the pool. (Second pool, third time) It looked as if he did a great job. We drove to Commerce to get chemicals. by the time we got back home an hour later the pool was caving in, the walls were buckled and the liner was very off!! It was so off centered it had the liner line 12 inches toward center of the pool on one side and 12 inches up the wall on the other. It was so off it was putting so much pressure it was causing the walls to bend and buckle. The liner stretched so bad that it stretched a hole in the liner. We were immediately accused of cutting a hole in the liner. Clearly the walls and the liner being off could clearly explain the hole in the liner and the buckling of the wall. Needless to say there were many frustrating conversations, many voicemails left with no response from Greg. The sub contractor basically said it was our fault, we cut the hole in the liner. Several weeks went by and we still haven't stepped foot in our pool. It is now July!!! greg is still blaming us. He tells me he is bringing the pool manufacturer to my house! Please do!! He is more than welcome! Finally 3 weeks later they finally do come. Pool manufacturer tells Greg and verifies that the pool indeed was NOT installed correctly. WoW!!! I DID NOT expect this! The pool manufacturer actually told the truth. He said it need to be installed again! This would make the 4th time! At this point we have given them enough chances. We have hundreds of conversations that were nothing but lies!! I called magistrate court and got an appt to start a process to get a full refund. Greg finally agreed to give us a refund before taking it to court. The pool sat in our yard for several months!!! He would say they were coming... we would wait around for them and they would never show up when they said they were going to. They didn't even have the decency to call and let us know they weren't coming. By this time Greg is acting like the Big coward he is. He won't answer our calls or text! He gives his dirty work to his poor employees. It is now mid-September and they finally came Tuesday and got the pool on Sept 14th. Let me remind you that this pool was paid on and ordered on February 5. It has sat in my yard since then and we never step foot in it! (We were guaranteed by April). 7 MONTHS! 7 months, 2 new pools and 3 different installers and still could not get it right!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! The employees will even tell you Greg is a screwball. The service up front is great until they get your money! Go elsewhere for better quality and much better service. Pool Spa Clearance along with Greg have horrible service, terrible quality, absolutely NO work ethic and honesty is at Rock bottom! Greg will play the church card, and say he is praying for you. It's just a cover up! If you would like to see pictures and text of proof of all that I have said feel free to contact me! I can show you over 300 pictures of absolutely terrible, horrible work and a pool that wouldn't last 1 year! If I had it to go over again I would have went to court anyway to get all my money back for chemicals purchased, water bills and mental anguish. I contracted with Greg at Pool & Spa Clearance Center On January 19, 2021 to move a hot tub to my home. I purchased the hot tub from a friend and was able to be there when they arrived to load the hot tub. There were only 3 people sent to move a 7-8 person hot tub. I contacted Greg to let him know I didn't think that was enough people to move it and he assured me they knew what they were doing. As soon as they lifted the tub to put it on the dolly, they cracked a panel. I asked them to stop and we contacted Greg to ensure he would cover any damage. He agreed he would. We moved forward with the move and as I thought, there were not enough people and I ended up helping lift and push the hot tub through the yard and onto the trailer. I texted Greg after the tub was set up to ensure he was sending a replacement panel given I paid him in full. He assured me he was. I texted and called Greg 18 times over a period of going on 2 months and every time was told he was working on getting the panel. I continued to give him benefit of the doubt and remain patient. He continued to deflect and make excuses. Meanwhile, I have a piece of styrofoam that is leaning up against this hot tub and while this review board does not allow me to post pictures, it looks poor and isn't functioning to insulate the tub. BEWARE Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina .This company is not interested in customer satisfaction. The owner (Greg) is not helpful, rude, disrespectful, and deceiving. We explained we had never had a pool and needed all the help we can get. They promised they would show us how everything works and maintenance required. The crew came a day late, threw our above ground pool together with instructions laid for them to follow. Obvious they didn't know what they were doing. They started filling up with water and then they left!!! Minimum communication with us. Warranty information was brought to us at door. No interpretation or review. We had spent $2,000 in excavation for the pool area pad which was ready for them to set up. They took a ditch witch(small digger) and dug up pad leaving uneven for damage and water drainage. Immediately, during fill up, liner was rippled on inside, holes sunk in on bottom where beams lay under pool. This leads to tearing which us not covered in warranty. They left trash all over yards and we found more warranty information in their trash. We wrote Better Business Bureau, no reply from them. We reported the holes sunk in bottom pool. They sent a man, we had to drain pool, he pushed sand over holes. We refilled and the holes are still there. No restitution, they got their money and no support afterwards. We had to call them again cause pump leaked. They came, glued and bid farewell. We never experienced such a sham!!!!!! read more
