The grooming team at Angel's Pet World worked on my pup for more than three hours and he looks fabulous! They seem to have a little of everything...live rodents, Beta's, a few lizards, live insect feeders, fresh foods, and dog grooming - full service & self-service. The only things they don't have are live fish (except the Betas) and aquatics. The other big area I like about Angel's is cat adoption. There's a huge cat adoption area right up front. They're very serious about it. They also have a big display (in the entryway) of dogs that are up for adoption through local agencies. This is the kind of good-hearted thing that separates Angel's from the big box corporation pet stores. I had a chance to talk with Angel herself. One is a 65 pound labradoodle and the other is a 15 pound poodle. Penny asks what you want and then does what you want and I just asked for general grooming for poodles and labradoodles including a bath, nail clip etc. When I picked them up they were happy and looked great. Penny really knows her stuff. I used to go to another well rated groomer on Yelp but recently my dogs came home with bloody paws and were crazy the rest of the day. Going to Penny's is like taking my dogs to someone's house. As I write this my dogs are snuggled up to each other and me and content. UNTIL, later that night, with her cone on, she keeps crying and trying to itch her ear but the cone is there.. i take the cone off and what do you know. they left her EAR OUT of the bandage??? I went there to get her wound wrapped, and they wrap her head and not her ear??? The cone was on her ear, pinching it. THATS, why she was crying. i called blue pearl and they said i can try and shove it back in. which wasn't possible, since she was crying and freaking out. i told the lady at blue pearl and she said i can take the wrap off, put her ear in and wrap it back up. i did as told.. UNTIL. They. Did. NOT. Change. The gauze. Dry bled all over it. And it can't be from her ear, because guess what? THEY DIDNT PUT IT IN THE WRAP.
