Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). Being that our company name is called Gatsby Chocolate, I thought it would be perfect to have a Gatsby-themed party, and Unforgettable Events completely delivered. Tashianna and her team are SO detail-oriented, and that's something I truly appreciate. They thought of everything. The entire event looked so gorgeous. The color palette was exactly what I was imagining, and everything exceeded my expectations. Working with Tashianna was SO easy. She was super communicative, and if a problem arose, she handled it gracefully. She kept me calm/sane during the whole process. Originally, I was supposed to plan this holiday party by myself, but a couple weeks into it, I realized I needed professional party-planning help, so that's when we hired Unforgettable Events. Tashianna picked up right where I left off, and alleviated so much stress. She communicated with all the vendors, had a schedule for the day of, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We truly couldn't have pulled this off without her and her team. Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

However, because the business was closed during our scheduled pickup, the owner agreed to make an exception and refund the money. Unfortunately, we never received the refund. When you hire a company for an event as important as a wedding, you expect the absolute best from your vendors. To clarify, the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because yes the set up was beautiful and we had no problem with the guys that came to physically put up the rental tents. They were great, they worked really hard, this is not about them. This is specifically towards Darlene, the company coordinator/manager/owner. Darlene was quick to respond when it came to taking your money. But after the payment was made, she went MIA. She wouldn't answer several calls and texts for days. "Sorry we are really busy", no that's no excuse to not be available to a paid client especially when there are issues/questions. The day before the event, instead of showing face and apologizing for the bad communication she sends her young attitude-filled teenage daughter instead to coordinate the guys setting up. We paid for the tents with fabric, wedding chairs, table runners etc and guess what? The wedding chair cushions were DIRTY. I bring this to the attention of Darlene's daughter and she very dismissively says, "I'll bring some more tomorrow". Fine, as long as they are replaced. Darlene's daughter leaves before the set up is complete, and we realize that they did not bring the table runners. We call and text Miss teenage attitude, no answer. The set up guys claim "maybe this fabric left behind is supposed to be the table runner", but after inspecting it we realize the dirty and torn fabric is actually for the tents not the tables. Again, tried to contact Darlene to advise her that our items are missing. No answer. She finally calls the day of the wedding and claims the fabric is the table runner. No it isn't! The fabric was clearly for the tents not the tables. And she says they will not be coming back to replace the dirty seat cushions. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! She did reimburse for the missing/dirty items but that doesn't change the fact that the items were delivered like that, terrible service and that the communication was almost zero. You can imagine how this made the bride feel on her big day. I do NOT recommend this company, they will give you a headache, stress, anxiety over bad communication and deliver dirty items.. or just not deliver some items altogether! From the very first point of contact with 1024 when getting a quote to literally the seconds before my bouquet toss when Trey found my flowers and handed them to me himself, the folks at 1024 were professional, responsive (even responding late on a Saturday night in the lead up to the big day!), highly organized and energetic. You can tell they care, and they are committed to being the very best. I even found out from my wedding venue that Trey scoped out the scene the day before! And, most importantly, the actual music itself was amazing - guests never left the dance floor and there was never a lull in the music or atmosphere, and never a bad pick. Trey was able to read the crowd and keep the party going. I actually had guests approach me in the days after the wedding asking for 1024's contact info for their own events, so be expecting an email! Plus, the price was completely on par with other DJs in the area (and I got a lot of quotes). Don't underestimate the importance of music at your wedding. Hire these guys and you'll be so happy you did. Thank you, Trey and 1024!

If You Care About Your Wedding Day, I Recommend Looking Elsewhere…read more I don't write negative reviews lightly, but if sharing our experience helps another couple avoid what we went through, it's worth it. We hired this company over two years before our wedding and worked directly with DJ Mike the entire time. During those two years, we met with him, planned our reception, discussed every detail of our timeline, and were repeatedly assured that he would be our DJ and MC. He emphasized that, as our MC, his job was to keep the reception running smoothly so we could simply enjoy our wedding day. The company had us use their planning app, where I spent countless hours entering every detail of our reception--from announcements and pronunciations to specific songs timed down to the exact second they were supposed to play. I trusted that all of that planning would ensure our wedding ran seamlessly. Then, about a week before our wedding, Mike essentially stopped communicating with us. It wasn't until our hired coordinator contacted the owner just two days before the wedding that we learned Mike would no longer be our DJ. We were never proactively informed. My husband eventually received a message from Mike stating that he had been reassigned to a corporate event. After two years of building a relationship and planning our wedding with him, we were simply replaced at the last minute. We were assured Javier would take over and that he was "great." Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Nearly every major musical moment during our reception was wrong. My husband's processional song was incorrect. Our first dance was incorrect. My father-daughter dance was incorrect. The mother-son dance was incorrect. We had to stop our own wedding reception multiple times to correct the DJ. Think about that for a moment. A bride and groom should never have to interrupt their own wedding to fix mistakes that should have been prevented through preparation. The most frustrating part is that every one of these songs had already been entered into the company's planning app months in advance. Instead of using the detailed timeline we spent two years creating, Javier appeared to be working from a handwritten sheet of paper covered in scribbled notes. It left us asking one simple question: What was the purpose of the planning app if none of the information was actually being used? The mistakes didn't stop with the music. Despite confirming pronunciations with both us and our coordinator, names were still announced incorrectly. What makes this especially heartbreaking is that my husband's parents both have Alzheimer's dementia. This was likely one of the last major family celebrations they'll remember. Moments that should have been joyful and unforgettable were interrupted by confusion, corrections, and preventable mistakes. Those memories cannot be recreated. After the wedding, we contacted the owner, Monique, hoping for accountability and, at the very least, some empathy. Instead, we received what felt like a dismissive response. We were told she had conducted a "review" which concluded everything went well minus two songs. Our experience as the bride and groom was effectively minimized. We were also told that our coordinator wasn't present for the entire reception--as though that somehow explained what happened. Yet we specifically hired a DJ who assured us he would also serve as the MC and keep the reception on track. That responsibility didn't disappear because our coordinator stepped away. Mistakes can happen. What defines a business is how it responds when they do. Unfortunately, what disappointed us most wasn't just the last-minute DJ change or the repeated mistakes throughout our reception. It was the complete lack of ownership afterward. We were left feeling unheard, dismissed, and blamed for problems that should never have occurred. Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. You don't get a second chance at your first dance, your parents' dances, or the memories made that night.
