My hamburger was excellent and my friend's steak salad was declared delicious as always...the steak being perfectly med rare. My only complaint was that I asked for no mustard and it came with mustard.....I had no allergies so I did my best to wipe it off. I am glad to say Duskees is as good as ever.

They were great with French fries with gravy to dip in. Paired with our favorite beers, it was an SU game meal to remember! Great job, Duskee's! We normally hit Chubbys up for wings but these were on par and on point for a couple of hungry guys on a cold Saturday afternoon!

Pizza shop in the front restaurant in the back. They had ceiling fans but they where mot on! My drink was sweating and warmed very fast in the humid air! While we waiting a bug flew in NY drink. My husband called them canal bugs! My husband ordered a steak. But that was not longer on the menu. They change the type of meat. Still at market value. Came with some over cooked blacken Brussels and fries. Apparently the truffle and balsamic was left out as well. Steak comes in truffle butter. Sprouts used to come with pancetta, and fries were to have truffle butter! All non exsitent. We asked for the glaze for the spouts. Her response was that it came with it. My husband pointed out it was non exsitent. She looks at the plate and takes it saying she will see if they will fix it! Really. Just bring it on the side. She came back as quickly as she left. She was what we call flighty! She did not give us a chance to order another drink or to ask questions. I ordered the empanadas. They where 2 large ones when I last went. Best around. Not anymore! 2 small over cooked shells with a side of sour cream that was it! I requested salsa that I thought was on the menu to come with it. Response was oh we do not have that. I asked for hot sauce she brings this big bottle of some brownish red watery stuff in tobacco bottle. It was not put not the same. Then I noticed it was our dated. Inside the shell was 95% potatoes. Whereres the beef!? When she came to clear the plates she never asked how anything was. Asked if my husband wanted a box for this meat. My husband told her the Brussels were over cooked. Chewy and burnt. She just went in to say how she tells them but they keep doing it. My thoughts. Ok but you brought it to the table! With out the glaze or truffle butter! Never offered to rectify the issue. So very said and mad. Should of went to Victor as that was the plan. If you look how good was from past reviews to what they serve now. You will see a bug difference. Be wary of the menu and the details. Last note. After we ordered or food I could of swarn she was reading a list of speacials to another table. Unless... No I heard someone rattling off specials. Guess it was on a need to know bases because we were not told of any speacials!

We had a few questions about the menu and the person working was happy to help. My husband asked for meat sauce on his cheese steak and they added this at no additional charge. We forgot how filling the cheesesteaks could be and were not able to finish all our fries. I love the mural in the dining area and the comfy booths. Pricing wasn't too bad. We ordered one combo and one additional cheesesteak and it was around 26 dollars for everything. We loved our visit and hope to visit again soon. 4 years is too long to go without Mac's.

The place itself is rustic and relatively quiet, even though they were quite busy. The service was great and friendly, the close-caption TVs were tuned to the Padres game - 2,500 miles from San Diego and we still got to watch our hometown team. The kitchen was a little slow turning out dishes, so when my wife's Pesto Pasta turned out to be something else, she didn't even say anything. I recently tried Green Front Restaurant for the first time, and it was an absolute rollercoaster of…read morean experience. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, but the front-of-house needs some serious help. We began with the fried pickle chips, which were amazing--served piping hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The kitchen is remarkably quick, too; almost immediately after our appetizers arrived, the staff was already at our table taking main course orders. For my entree, I ordered the chicken tenders and fries basket. The tenders were perfectly golden and incredibly crispy, served with a generous mountain of fresh crinkle-cut fries. I'd rate the tenders a solid 3.5/5--my only minor critique is that they could be a bit more generous with the dipping sauce for a portion that size. My dad also ordered a beer, which was poured beautifully with a nice head. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience completely dragged the meal down with some glaring cleanliness and professionalism issues. I found a long hair wrapped right around the lemon wedge in my iced tea. To make matters worse, I watched the staff member pouring drinks rub her mouth right at the drink station before handling other beverages. Meanwhile, the lady behind the counter was completely disengaged, literally just scrolling on her phone instead of focusing on the dining room. The overall neglect was obvious if you looked around. Hanging directly above our dining table was a vintage wall thermometer covered in a heavy, flaking buildup of rust and grime--definitely not what you want hanging over your food. Even the bathroom was neglected, with trash and used paper towels left on the floor. If you are strictly judging by the kitchen's output, the food tastes fantastic and comes out incredibly fast. However, management desperately needs to invest in a deep clean and have a serious huddle with the staff regarding basic front-of-house hygiene.
