Past experience has taught me that the sound is from a nail in my tire or a rock stuck in the tread of a tire. I pulled over and found a large sheet metal screw in the driver's side front tire. I added the maintenance package to my tires when I bought them because I knew my 4+ years of no tire issues was bound to end, except I couldn't get through when I called, and they were about a 25 minute drive away via the highway, which wouldn't be the smartest move to attempt. Pulled up local tire shops and Waheed's was the nearest with a 4 1/2 star rating on Yelp. Called them up, explained my situation, and they said come right over. I pulled up, told the gentleman which tire had the screw in it, he guided me toward backing up and forward and turning wheels until he saw it. Then he grabbed his tools and a plug, removed the screw and plugged the hole without me even leaving my car! I heard a little air escape for a few seconds between removing the screw, prepping the hole, and plugging it, but the tire pressure light didn't come on, so he assured me I was good to go. No issues at all since the repair. I'll call my tire store anyway to follow up, but Waheed's showed me why they are highly rated, and I highly recommend them. Inexpensive and very fast repair (less than 10 minutes), great service (I tipped the guy who made the repair), and one very happy customer (me).

Talk about crap customer service. That's when we found family run A&A Tire, a few miles away. They were also booked all day but they actually understand customers who are in need and stranded. A&A told us to have the dealer inflate the tire and drive right over. They sent a mechanic to a tire distributor just in case the tire was ruined. They fit us in, replaced the tire, and actually charged 100.00 less for the tire than the Mercedes dealer told us the new tire would cost. Great shop, extremely nice people.

This time I needed a new tire for one that had sidewall damage. It's a special tire, but they were able to locate one and have it delivered and installed in a couple of days. When picking it up, I was running late and they said, "No worries, we'll be around a little longer -- stop by as soon as you can." I really appreciate their focus on the customer, setting realistic expectations, and getting the work done as promised. I've only had them do tire work, but I'm considering using them for other repairs.

Got out the car and didn't see a flat and my tire pressure light was not on. This flapping sound became a little louder the closer I got to her drop off point and now I'm nervous. Checked again no flat so after I dropped my passenger off I went to my job blocks away to grab my laptop and contact someone for a ride as I still don't see what's going on. I called my friend about it and she advised to contact Luckey's because she was told from a friend of hers they are super reasonable and to have them inspect the issue. I called them to explain the issue they informed me that they can take a look in the morning as they are closing in 45 minutes. I safely got my car up there and they gave me a call the very next morning around 8:15 and informed me they were able to locate the issue right away. I had a long bolt of some sort in the tire and the sound I was hearing was this little bugger rubbing against the tire well. They were able to get the tired replaced with a new and got my car that same day! Not only was Kurt and Bryan professional and kind, they were able to save me a little money with my issue. A new tire, labor and tax it came to $125 and you can't beat that with a stick. Because of their price and service, I have a new go to for my car needs and love the fact they're local. Neighborhood gas and service station, but I will not buy my gas here ever again…read more I've been putting gas in my car using pick n save loyalty points, for many years. I ran the pump which had signed in and confirmed my loyalty discount at .10 a gallon for regular gas. I only use regular in my car. I filled up over 16 gallons and looked at the price of $71.44 !!! Shocked I discussed with Wally at counter, he said nothing he can do. You must've hit the wrong buttons. Come back tomorrow and talk to the owner. So I did. He said maybe the hose hit the premium button when you dragged it to the car? That happens sometimes. I said no... the pump confirmed my loyalty discount at $3.39 a gallon and THEN I filled up. He said well there's nothing I can do... you got premium gas and we can't take it out of the tank. Wish I could do more! I said I am not the guy that wants to screw you out of 17.00 in gas money, you have a glitch on pump 5. I won't be coming back to this station because you don't seem to mind screwing me for that $17.00 gas money. Anyone else have this happen to them at this station? I mean, a small gesture of acknowledgement that I was telling the truth could have changed the outcome here. But my weekly fills at that station have come to a final and screeching halt. Buyer beware.

After calling 6 or 7 places, Voline fell toward the lower end in pricing, was right in the middle on timing and they are walkable from my home. I dropped the car off believing that I needed an alternator, an expense I was not planning on. I walked home. Two hours later they called me and said the car was fine. I didn't need the expensive replacement after all. That's an honest garage. I was pleased. I asked them if they could install a mirror that I had pre-purchased since they had the vehicle and the mirror was in the car. They worked me back into the schedule. Labor costs were reasonable. I paid about $150 all in; the VW dealer charges $750 for the mirror plus installation. (Note: When they quoted me the alternator, they looked at rebuilt units to save me money. Then they called me back when they did further research and discovered there were two sizes and prices. Thorough.) They were friendly and accommodating, honest and helpful. In a world of people who would take advantage, they went out of their way to do the opposite. My mom has also gotten gas here. Full service means they even clean your windows. Sadly, my car is diesel and they only have regular and premium. I will, however, recommend them to all my friends and visitors. Three cheers to Dick and the team.
