I have been coming to this nail shop off and on for many years and have had no problems. Today I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure and the nail tech did a decent job, nothing extraordinary, just decent. It almost felt during the gel manicure she was rushing. So it's time to pay, I have a card I tell her how much to add on for the tip and she basically said it wasn't enough! For excellent service I usually tip at least 20% if not more, but because her service was just okay I did 15%. She said it wasn't enough and wouldn't run my card. I have never in all my years of going to nail shops experienced this. So be ready to be called out publicly if you do not tip to there liking. read more

Very dirty. They reuse, don't sterilize and don't wipe down anything. They barely clean the foot sinks. Making appointments are useless.

Can't comment on services - since they couldn't get me in. Came on a Sunday and was told to come back in 30 mins. When I came back, they didn't recognize me and asked what I needed. When I said mani/pedi, they say come back in an hour. I told them I'd already been told to come back - and they replied that more people had come. Well, uh, why wouldn't you put my name in and hold a spot?!?! What the heck? as I left she said "maybe tomorrow". I don't think so. I don't mind being told to come back when I'm a walk-in, but to not hold a spot is ridiculous. read more

This place is dirty and there is no customer service. The only reason I have been going there is because it is close to my home. But now, I will not go back. I went there a couple of days ago for a eye brow/lip waxing and the lady (I think the owner) was finishing up a pedicure and said she'd be available in a few minutes. As soon as she finished the pedicure, she walked me to the waxing room in the back. I asked her to wash her hands and she mumbled something acting annoyed that I asked her that and proceeded to "wash" her hands with the pedicure water. I asked her if she used soap and she said yes but I knew the real answer! How can someone touch someone's feet and then touch someone's face right after without washing their hands!! I shouldn't have had to ask her, she should automatically wash her hands between each client. No matter how convenience that place is, I will never go back! read more

I left this place in tears. The woman waxing me continued to burn and rip my skin after I asked her again and again to be more gentle. She completely ignored me and was very rude treating me like a child telling me she knows what she is doing. I left to pay and then as I was leaving in so much pain, just wanting to get out of there, the manager came over to me and asked why I didn't tip. I said that I have been coming here for a very long time and have no issue returning (with a different waxer) but today because of how much pain I am in, I do not feel I can pay even more money for the service that hurt me. She yelled at me in front of the entire store telling me how awful I am and how I came late. I came 5 minutes before my appointment. The system they have set up is that they overbook you so they can have more business and don't care that you wait for 30 + minutes without acknowledgment . (As many other reviews suggest here.) They will lie continuously saying they are about to take you and knowingly have 4 other customers booked in front of you. I can't support such an establishment again. read more

I have tried my best to overlook the poor customer service I receive from this place time and time again! I guess I kept going because it is close to home but I am now officially done with them!!! The owner Young does not treat all her customers the same and despite the fact that I have gone numerous times and patronized her business I still receive very poor treatment. Today she let me sit down for 15 minutes and then proceeded to tell me she has two appts at 10am and if they come she would not be able to do me or my daughters mani/pedi!!!! She did not try to accommodate any other time and proceeded to rub my daughters back and said NEXT TIME!!! Well Young, there will not be a next time because that was the last time we will ever walk in your salon again!!! Beware of unjust treatment when you are spending your hard earned money! Horrible service, always packed, no English speaking staff and worse mani pedi ever!!!!!!!!!

Clean place, warm homey environment. The staff is very friendly and means well despite speaking broken English. Got a mani and pedi and both came out very nicely. You can tell they know what they are doing! I would return here with my daughter. read more

Very friend staff and clean. I had just had a mani and pedi done in Hoboken for double that price and was so upset as the quality was terrible. I had a wedding to go to and on a whim, I just stopped in hoping they could fix it and wound up finding a great gem. Right now they offer a special - mani and pedi for $20. :) The lady that did my manicure didn't need direction from me and did a great job. Same goes for the lady who did my pedicure. She even looked at my toes from my viewpoint to see if they looked even! Great experience here. read more

Truly a terrible experience. My usual nail salon changed owners and is now terrible so I've been trying out other salons in the area, which led me here. The salon is small and somewhat dingy. Certainly not a particularly clean salon. I asked for a gel manicure and a simple floral design that had similar colors to the dress that I planed to wear for a wedding. The nail tech said fine and proceeded to do the manicure. The gel polish was acceptable, but if you are not comfortable doing designs, be honest to your client. I would have been fine with a regular polish without the design. My nails are sloppy and do not look uniform. If I wanted a poorly drawn flower on my nail I would have done them myself. She proceeded to make numerous excuses saying that she is not a professional at designs. Is your job not a nail tech? Should you not be honest with your clients and say if you are able to perform the desired service? I will not be returning to this establishment, I am extremely disappointed. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This establishment is the most unprofessional, unorganized place I have ever stepped into. The service is horrible and the owner is the most rude lady you will ever come across. She had the nerve to haggle her clients for tips. I've been to this salon numerous times, and each time it's the same treatment. Today, my mother and I called for an appointment at 9:30 and now she claims that we don't have an appointment. The only reason I'll give you one star is because it's not an option to give zero. I'm only writing this review to save somebody else from going through the frustration I did..what wasn't wrong..my grandmother waited a half hour past her appt time because they had helped 4 walk-ins before her...I was charged for 15$ extra for a service I did not ask for, did not want, and did not like. When asked to polish over the work she did I was told that was Ugly, only because the woman doing my nails was too lazy to fix what she had done. Then at 7 when it was time for a pedicure (mind you they close at 730) I was given the largest attitude and death-stare for god-forbid wanting to spend more money at this establishment and ended up telling them not to bother..save yourself the time and money and go to one of the other just as good establishments in a 6-mile radius of this place...PLUS the nail the woman fixed popped off 1 day later due to poor work. One of the nail technicians thought I won't tip her when she asked me to pay $20 for mani and pedi (when paying with a visa) so she did my nails in 20mins. She applied a nail polish on old nail polish on my toes. She didn't think I would pay attention, but I could see that on one of my toes I could only see orange (previous nail polish). So when i was drying my nails i gave her $10 to keep. this person went crazy. She gaved my daughter a lollipop she offered me to put my shoes on (I was wearing sandals) it was pathetic. I don't expect anyone to do this!!!!! I've been getting pedicures for years and I never been treated like a this. These people only want the money they don't appreciate that are allowed to work in our country and its never enough. And they don't care about the quality. Job that she did I could do it myself, I wasted 30mins of waiting and stressing out that I won't make it before my quests will show up for my daughters 1st birthday. I don't recommend this place to anyone because you don't know how they will treat you and how long it will take to wait and how the job will be done. Very disappointed. read more

Just had a mani to fill in my gel tips they had put on a few weeks earlier. This was my 3rd visit since I had gotten the tips on. The first time I had a manicurist that was nasty and kept twisting my fingers as I clearly was not holding my hands the way she wanted. She was mean and abusive. I went back 2 weeks later to get one of the nails fixed. I had a different manicurist - I believe her name is Christine. She was lovely and fixed the crappy job the first one has done. She didn't complain at all about how I was holding my hands. Unfortunately when I went on today I didn't have an appointment and was given to the mean-spirited one. Once again she was agitated with my hand positions and proceeded to twist my fingers and yell at me even waving her hands in my face to wake up. (I was up). I could have blown up but stayed quiet. It was horrible and humiliating. As convenient and inexpensive as the place is, I will not be back. read more
