One time we did have a waitress who seemed preoccupied and forgot to bring our drink order, but that seemed to be an isolated incident. We really like their Chicken Parmesan which is smothered in cheese...we thought it was a pizza the first time we ordered it. LOL Their patio is nice with a good view of the Trent river and boating traffic. They offer a take-out menu as well and we've picked it up several times and it's just as good as dine-in. My fettucine was undercooked (not even close to being al dente), the chicken breast was dry and the overall seasoning was weak. Even with the addition of giant slivers of Parmaggiano didn't do much to elevate the dish. I would have sent the dish back if we weren't in a rush to finish our meal and get back on the road. The Margherita pizza was the best part of this dinner sadly. I'm not sure if we'll be back in Trenton again any time soon, but I will be looking for other options than Tomasso's.

Loaded with toppings! So much cheese! My wife would love this. The cheese has more flavour than you will usually find and Jim's sauce stands out through the toppings. It tastes like real tomatoes not spaghetti sauce. And has texture. Seems they are using real food ingredients rather than super processed alternatives that may be cheaper. The funny thing is, this pizza is very inexpensive. I would definitely return to Jim's next time I'm in Port Hope. I look forward to trying more of the items on their menu. And if it's during the day, I may sit on their sidewalk patio and just enjoy this charming town!
