My oldest is now 33 and met her husband at WCS - they now have three beautiful kids and lead a Godly life. My middle child started in preschool right across the way from where he graduated. Western focus' on spirituality, safety, education and the knowledge to excel in whatever your child dreams of. WCS works with parent's who really want for their kids, the best environment to thrive in. The sacrifice to have your kids attend this fantastic school will over exceed any hardship ever. In sports, she never got a fair shot because of favoritism - certain kids were clearly favored and got the playing time and attention, while mine was pushed aside. More than once, staff took the other kids' side over hers without even hearing her out. Not exactly what I'd expect from a school that claims to run on biblical principles. Also, the emails we got from Reggie Stephens were AI generated. Cold, generic, no real answers to the actual concerns we brought up. If that's the level of effort put into communicating with parents, it tells you a lot. We paid a lot of money for this school and got basically nothing in return. No support for our kid when it mattered most. She started at her new school today and is already so much happier. The staff there is genuinely superior in every way - support, communication, they actually care. Night and day difference. Wish we'd made the switch sooner. Would not recommend Western Christian to anyone looking for real support for their kid.

Carnival foods included American classics like burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fries and soft drinks and there was also Italian, Filipino, and Mexican foods. Prior to our family being asked to leave on January 28, 2025, my children had already completed shadow days at neighboring schools in early December. While the academics at this school are rigorous and they pride themselves on being a year ahead, the workload had become increasingly stressful for my oldest child. I began to feel that the expectations were no longer a healthy fit for her, and paying for outside academic support on top of tuition was not something our family could continue long-term. I would like to sincerely thank the families who reached out to us with genuine concern during this time. Several people contacted Mrs. Ossa and Fr. Richard to express their concern regarding how our situation was handled, and that support meant so much. Unfortunately, the reason our family was asked to leave, was due to a rumor created by two mothers . According to Mrs. Ossa, it was claimed that I had spread this rumor to other families. When I challenged the accusation on the Band app, (not mentioning what the rumor was) many parents surprised and said they had not heard of any rumor. What is especially concerning is that before this rumor was ever brought to administration, I had already informed Mrs. Ossa that I had heard two individuals were attempting to start a rumor involving me. Despite that conversation, no action was taken at the time. For clarity, I never accused nor implied that any individual was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a married man. In fact, weeks before the accusation surfaced, one of the mothers involved had asked me to support her in a custody matter regarding her child. I was initially under the impression that she was asking for a character reference letter. However, the request later changed to providing a statement against her ex-husband in court. I declined to participate in that. Shortly after, the allegation against me was reported to the school. When administration contacted me about the accusation, I firmly denied it and reminded them that I had previously brought concerns about this rumor to their attention. Despite this, my family was given three business days to remove our children from the school. This situation was extremely stressful and unfair to my children. They are kind, caring students who had no behavioral issues. While the experience was painful, I had already begun to recognize that this academic environment was not the right fit for my children. What made the transition even more stressful was that when other schools contacted the administration for recommendations in the middle of the school year, the feedback provided created additional challenges for our family. My goal has always been to provide my children with the same Christ-centered education that I experienced growing up. Unfortunately, this experience with the administration deeply shook that trust. As for those mothers, you know who you are, and you are despicable. Though time has passed, I am still appalled that my family was asked to leave on a lie you created. It is terrible that refusing to do something, resulted in your vengeance. You made this rumor up knowing it could have had damaging consequences for the mentioned family. I am sharing this now because I always intended to speak openly about what happened so other families can make informed decisions about the environment they are placing their children in. Despite everything that happened, I remain hopeful that schools rooted in faith can lead with fairness, compassion, and integrity.

Hello Reader! If you…read morelike you are able to read my original review of this school, I submitted the review on 05/03/2019. Just 4 days later my whole life fell apart. However, I would not know this until many days later because I was in a coma fighting for my life. I woke up at Pomona Valley Hospital on 05/15/19 and I had no idea what had happened. As I became more conscious I learned I was driving my Son home from school; when a young man under the influence of alcohol and drugs crashed into me. My amazing Son Julian was killed instantly and I was badly hurt and unconscious. Virtually everyone who saw me at the hospital told me they were sure I would not make it. My Femur, Tibia, Fibula, Calcaneus, Sternum, Ribs 5-7, Mandible, and Nose were broken. Both my lungs collapsed, I had 2 strokes, and got pneumonia while at the hospital. The day of the accident my wife Jessica called Pastor Lincoln. He immediately started a prayer chain, and had Church/School Officials go to Pomona Valley Hospital to console Jessica and see my condition. They brought water and snacks for my family and prayed for us. I was told Mrs. Lee held my hand and prayed for me for about an hour. My Son Julian's Teacher Mr. Pate came and gave condolences and valuable advice to my Wife. A lot of people from Calvary (most we didn't know or didn't know well) came to the hospital to give support and prayers. It was immensely remarkable. It was my first lesson in TRUE GENUINE CHRISTIANITY. Pastor Lincoln helped my wife with Julian's funeral arrangements and planning. School was actually cancelled the day of Julian's funeral which was held at Calvary Church. I have a lot more to say and many others to thank. However, it is hard to concentrate fully and put everything to words. I'll make it simple, deciding to have Julian attend school at Calvary was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I have met some of the most spiritually beautiful people I have ever encountered. I really believe with all my heart the only reason I am alive, is because of the prayer chain Pastor Lincoln started. Seriously, Calvary Baptist School and Church is absolutely amazing and Godly to the max. Thank you for all you have done for my family and myself.

I wont name any names, however The Science Department, and the Math Department have some issues. 8th Grade Intro to Physical Science. Worst Teacher Ever. I had so many problems and The counselors couldn't help me out. Academically Speaking, She prepared me for High School Well. I am well Above my Class, With the Ability to Use and Recognize Chemistry Level material. The Math Department was OK. I felt "Blown Off" By some of the teachers, but again, I was prepared well for High School. The Administration was always extremely courteous, and helped me solve many of my problems that I faced while Attending. Counselors worked with me, and I enjoyed my Enrollment here. Library: Extremely Clean, Neat, and Nice place to relax! The Campus is outdoors, and if its hot, the Library is the Only escape! Nice Media Tech, and Nice Selection! Security: Extremely Friendly! Always felt Safe and Secure, and Security was NEVER an issue. Cafeteria: The cafeteria is Indoor, But is surrounded with chain link openings. There is No A/C. ***Note My remark about the library*** Gymnasium: Could receive some TLC. Needs A/C. Gets Really hot, and they have really big fans that they use, that dont really do anything. Features Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, and is also Really good for DodgeBall :) Portables: Typical. Athletic Fields: Football, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Track. Thats About it. Track is dirt, and Gets muddy when wet, but belongs to Diamond Bar, not PUSD. Parking: READ THE WEBSITE! It clearly states that it is extremely busy. However i would recommend walking to nearby business and getting a ride there. Locker Rooms: Typical, Large lockers.
