Our son has been attending for Pre-K and TK, and from the very beginning the teachers and staff made our family feel welcomed and supported. The transition into preschool can be emotional for little ones, but the teachers were so patient and caring that it helped him settle in much quicker than we expected. What has stood out the most to us is how much he has grown since starting here. His confidence, independence, and social skills have really blossomed. He often comes home excited to tell us about the friends he played with, the activities they did, and the things he learned that day. You can truly tell the teachers care about the kids and create a warm, structured environment where children feel safe and encouraged. As a parent, there's real peace of mind knowing your child is somewhere they are valued and supported. If you're a parent looking for a preschool where your child will be nurtured, cared for, and given a great start, we would absolutely recommend this school to other families.

From day one, I felt like I was leaving my children with family--not just teachers. The love, patience, and intentional care they provide is unmatched. The preschool has a strong, well-organized program with fun, age-appropriate activities that help the kids grow emotionally, socially, and academically. They also go above and beyond to create special days and events for parents, which helps us feel truly included in the school experience. One of the things that gave me the most confidence as a parent was how excited my daughters were to go each day--they would often ask when they could go back to school! That joy and eagerness made it clear they were not only learning but also truly thriving. Honestly, if they offered elementary school, I wouldn't think twice--I'd love to keep them in an environment like this for years to come. The peace of mind and confidence I've had every day dropping them off is something I'll always be grateful for. Highly recommend!

I moved my child to this school after a HORRIBLE experience at another daycare in Upland, so I can truly appreciate the love & guidance they take with their kids. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about this place. The daycare my child came from, the kids were mean and the teachers looked like they'd rather be elsewhere. However, here it's different. I can tell the teachers really want to be there with the kids and enjoy their jobs. The children, in return, seem to genuinely love and respect each other and them. Their 'hands-on' learning approach is one of the best draws of this school. My little girl is inquisitive, and helpful both inside and outside the classroom. She does very well at playing by herself and with others, and cleans up after herself at the school and at home! A lot of these skills I can say were honed from going to Upland Montessori! They are one of the best schools in the Upland area by far! I would highly recommend anyone looking for daycare for their pre-school age child to strongly consider this school. Hands down one of the best childcare decisions I've ever made. *In response to Joy & her "concerns", I must say I don't think she really gave the school a chance enough to write a negative review. Yes, it's family run and they are a little short handed in the office, but I see those as Minor hiccups in comparison to the quality of education they receive here. I understand the miscommunication about the hot lunch because I was a little disappointed myself - but it's not a deal breaker! She took the child there for one day and then removed him because of a policy the school has not to interrupt the children during school hours. I was told of this policy upon enrolling my child and have seen the benefits of it myself. Going into the classroom to greet a child or hand them items IS disruptive to their learning environment. Hand the lunch off to the teacher, and then leave. You can see your child when you pick them up, or if you're that concerned, watch through the video monitors - that's what they are there for. The last thing any teacher needs is one child who is completely fine, seeing mommy or grandma, and then having a breakdown in front of the entire class just because you wanted to 'peek in.' I'm not even a teacher, and I understand this. The teachers do what is best for the children. If you had given your child a little more time at the school you may have seen how amazing it truly is.

Having never attended daycare before we expected the transition to be long and difficult but the teachers there worked hard to help him adjust and he was settled into the routine by week 2. Ms Kim, Ms Emily and Ms Kimmy from Toddler 1 have shown an abundance of care to our child which is shown in how quickly he was able to adapt, he was reaching for his teachers at drop off by week 2. But we love all the staff we have encountered and they all welcome our child by name each day, from the director and front desk staff to the other classroom teachers! (Honestly it feels like Cheers walking in everyday- where everybody knows your name!) Communication- The staff have been very communicative both in person and through the sprout about app with sharing suggestions of how to help in his transition, checking in on him when he's sick and out of school and reminders of events coming up, and we love the stories they share at the end of the day that let us know how well they know each individual child. Security- the sprout about app is great for being able to check in throughout the day. Staff are quick to respond to messages through the app. Cameras are well placed for visibility, to see everyone and everything except diaper changing. The rooms are open with good windows of visibility from the hallway and outdoors, no blind corners or spaces for hiding. We feel very comfortable knowing where our child is. There are no cameras outside for the playground but given that the play area looks out on the street there is good visibility from the public. The front door is shaded with privacy glass and locked with passcode required for entry. Check in and out is double verified by a parent log in/log out computer at the entrance and by staff through the sprout about app. I also really love that each parent, and grandparent if desired, gets their own sprout about account and door codes. Food- meals and snacks are served family style for the group and offered regularly around every 3 hours. There is a weekly meal schedule made available and has a varied menu. Staff also gives updates after meals/snacks to say how much the child ate which is helpful. The school provides sippy cups for milk, and parents provide water bottles which are offered several times throughout the day, especially during/after outdoor play time. Lastly we are very appreciative of the efforts of the administration staff (Wendy and Letty) to work with us on our military assistance program for subsidy for daycare (Child Care Aware). It required a fair bit of effort on their part to get it set up and monthly follow up on checking our child's attendance. It was one of the things that sold us on this daycare in that they were willing to work with us and they have made the process easy.

The first 3 years of his life he was at home with me so I was expecting a much more rough transition, since I had been the only taking care of him. The first day was your typical crying at drop off; I'm not sure who was more scared, him or me. As a parent your first thought and priority is the safety of your child and their well being. Within the first 30 minutes Ms. Vanessa was sharing positive updates about my son along with pictures of him smiling and having fun. I cannot describe the comfort I felt. The next couple of days Ms. Vanessa made it a point to show my son that she was there to take care of him and protect him. By the third day there was no more tears. My son runs into his classroom now and sometimes even forgets to say bye to me because he's that excited. Apart from Ms. Vanessa, all the teachers there are so very warming and welcoming. My son knows every teacher and every teacher makes it a point to know him as well. Apart from Ms. Vanessa, my son also spends a lot of time with Ms. Michelle. He looks for her every morning, as does she, and he asks me every morning if it's time for him to move up to her class. Seeing their bond makes me realize how grateful I am that he is able to attend a school with such great staff. During his initial days, the assistant director Ms. Letty was there to assure him that he was safe and that they were always going to take care of him. My son is more on the timid side so he struggles with adapting to new environments at time. Ms. Wendy, the director, has offered him the same safe space as the others and she's always been extremely helpful and attentive to whatever needs we may have. They're always cheering him on for his next steps, giving him the confidence that he needs. My son looks forward to seeing each and every one of the staff and he immediately notices if someone isn't there, but most importantly he recognizes the safety that they hold, which is why I believe he's had such a positive experience. Apart from the staff, the other kids are a dream. They are all such respectful and well-educated kids that I have no doubt that they treat my son well, and vice versa. Again, I can't say enough good things about this school. From the live feed cameras, to the staff and kids. They make it a point to make sure that the kids are experiencing new activities and are always engaged, from water day to bike day, or learning how to put together a trail mix snack. He comes every day to tell me a story of all the new things he has tried and learned. My son is very lucky to be able to attend a school like the one he attends.

The director Pauline and asst director Ellie are both fantastic. Both our kids attend full time and our older son attended full time all through COVID. They take cleanliness, sanitization, and CA regulations seriously and I have always felt my children were safe and well taken care of. I also love the creativity, arts and crafts and curriculum for each age. I feel like my kids are socially developed very well. The teachers and center as a whole have become a big part of our life, Several of the staff members have been around for 3+ years and watched over both our boys, and that goes to show what a great positive environment has been created here. Because of this daycare my kids have been potty trained, transitioned milks, helped nap schedules, taught counting and ABCs and so much more. They also provide all food, and even baby formula. They even do before and after school drop off! Although daycare is expensive, it was one of the more affordable ones we looked at. I honestly don't know what we would do without this place!!!
