Our son has been attending for Pre-K and TK, and from the very beginning the teachers and staff made our family feel welcomed and supported. The transition into preschool can be emotional for little ones, but the teachers were so patient and caring that it helped him settle in much quicker than we expected. What has stood out the most to us is how much he has grown since starting here. His confidence, independence, and social skills have really blossomed. He often comes home excited to tell us about the friends he played with, the activities they did, and the things he learned that day. You can truly tell the teachers care about the kids and create a warm, structured environment where children feel safe and encouraged. As a parent, there's real peace of mind knowing your child is somewhere they are valued and supported. If you're a parent looking for a preschool where your child will be nurtured, cared for, and given a great start, we would absolutely recommend this school to other families.

From day one, I felt like I was leaving my children with family--not just teachers. The love, patience, and intentional care they provide is unmatched. The preschool has a strong, well-organized program with fun, age-appropriate activities that help the kids grow emotionally, socially, and academically. They also go above and beyond to create special days and events for parents, which helps us feel truly included in the school experience. One of the things that gave me the most confidence as a parent was how excited my daughters were to go each day--they would often ask when they could go back to school! That joy and eagerness made it clear they were not only learning but also truly thriving. Honestly, if they offered elementary school, I wouldn't think twice--I'd love to keep them in an environment like this for years to come. The peace of mind and confidence I've had every day dropping them off is something I'll always be grateful for. Highly recommend!

There aren't enough good things to say about this school, along with the staff. My 3 year old…read morestarted here about 5 months ago and it has been the easiest transition. The first 3 years of his life he was at home with me so I was expecting a much more rough transition, since I had been the only taking care of him. The first day was your typical crying at drop off; I'm not sure who was more scared, him or me. As a parent your first thought and priority is the safety of your child and their well being. Within the first 30 minutes Ms. Vanessa was sharing positive updates about my son along with pictures of him smiling and having fun. I cannot describe the comfort I felt. The next couple of days Ms. Vanessa made it a point to show my son that she was there to take care of him and protect him. By the third day there was no more tears. My son runs into his classroom now and sometimes even forgets to say bye to me because he's that excited. Apart from Ms. Vanessa, all the teachers there are so very warming and welcoming. My son knows every teacher and every teacher makes it a point to know him as well. Apart from Ms. Vanessa, my son also spends a lot of time with Ms. Michelle. He looks for her every morning, as does she, and he asks me every morning if it's time for him to move up to her class. Seeing their bond makes me realize how grateful I am that he is able to attend a school with such great staff. During his initial days, the assistant director Ms. Letty was there to assure him that he was safe and that they were always going to take care of him. My son is more on the timid side so he struggles with adapting to new environments at time. Ms. Wendy, the director, has offered him the same safe space as the others and she's always been extremely helpful and attentive to whatever needs we may have. They're always cheering him on for his next steps, giving him the confidence that he needs. My son looks forward to seeing each and every one of the staff and he immediately notices if someone isn't there, but most importantly he recognizes the safety that they hold, which is why I believe he's had such a positive experience. Apart from the staff, the other kids are a dream. They are all such respectful and well-educated kids that I have no doubt that they treat my son well, and vice versa. Again, I can't say enough good things about this school. From the live feed cameras, to the staff and kids. They make it a point to make sure that the kids are experiencing new activities and are always engaged, from water day to bike day, or learning how to put together a trail mix snack. He comes every day to tell me a story of all the new things he has tried and learned. My son is very lucky to be able to attend a school like the one he attends.

The director Pauline and asst director Ellie are both fantastic. Both our kids attend full time and our older son attended full time all through COVID. They take cleanliness, sanitization, and CA regulations seriously and I have always felt my children were safe and well taken care of. I also love the creativity, arts and crafts and curriculum for each age. I feel like my kids are socially developed very well. The teachers and center as a whole have become a big part of our life, Several of the staff members have been around for 3+ years and watched over both our boys, and that goes to show what a great positive environment has been created here. Because of this daycare my kids have been potty trained, transitioned milks, helped nap schedules, taught counting and ABCs and so much more. They also provide all food, and even baby formula. They even do before and after school drop off! Although daycare is expensive, it was one of the more affordable ones we looked at. I honestly don't know what we would do without this place!!!

In the front of desk, they display various expensive toys and snacks for sale that tempts children to pester their parents to buy. it bothers me a lot. they also promote their own laundry bag. an orange and urgly bag. i dont like this bag,so every time they ask me to buy I always refuse. one day , they put my kids clothes into the bag without my permission. So I have to cost 20 dollars to buy this laundry bag and the zipper broken next day, so cheap material!!! In my opinion, as an educational institution, the main mission is educate children not about the money. About the educations Be honest , their teachers are patient and nice before. However, the quality of teaching has worst with a high turnover rate among teachers。 so far there are only three formal teachers ,the others just teachers assistants. sometimes I saw kids cry sadly , they just ignore and didn't comfort them. And they always let kids watch iPad

I tried to teach him at home and my son had absolutely no interest - which gets into another whole analysis with learning disorders and what not.. He dropped out 6 times!!!! I explained to my son, you have to learn your ABC's and how to count to 10. He graduated! Then started kindergarten, and had a very hard time. In second grade the school recommended to transfer him to public school For free additional help (Now I believe WCS can accommodate more with disorders in kids as I believe they have an onsite program to assist better). I did send my child to a public school, and he was depressed for the entire 3 years! I worked hard during the recession and told my husband I am placing our child back at Western. And as Soon as I told our son, there was a sense of hope. He returned in sixth grade and graduated high school. Today he is an IT Tech for a mortgage company and has a heart that is open to life with non--judgment. He's trying to figure out how to make this world a better place. If anyone ever wanted to reach out and hear my story, I am willing to talk to you in person through WCS.. My son has expressed to me that he enjoys Western a lot more than his previous school. He loves his teachers and is making new friends. God willing my son will continue with Western until he graduates High School.
