Love love love. This school has been such a blessing for us. From the recent meal program to the love and commitment from the staff. I have no complaints. The teachers are all very attentive and care about the kids. They're super communicative about my kiddos. I have two kids that attend and have no complaints. The long hours are also a plus for our families fluctuating work schedules. My kids are learning academically and socially. They're also being potty trained and super consistent as I can tell from how my kids go at home. My kids were transfer students mid year last school year and I wasn't sure how they would adjust but they thrived. They come home with the brightest imagination and replay what they learned at school. They have made friends and connections and I couldn't ask for a better place for them. read more

The staff here is very polite. I first met Ms. Michelle while walking by with my daughter so she could see the kids playing outside. She always greeted me and asked if I was enrolling. Ms. Danielle is the Admin and she is very polite and gave me a tour. She is very responsive on anything you need or have questions about. Ms. Tanisha was very protective of the children. She saw my husband and I sitting in a parked car watching our daughter play. It was her first week and we just wanted to check in on her. Ms. Tanisha called us over and we immediately told her we were new parents. We appreciated her making sure we weren't strangers just watching the kids. She's no longer there but was an awesome teacher. Ms. Claudia is a sweetheart. She held our daughter every time she cried for the first 2 weeks. We appreciated that so much. Ms. Andrea is currently the 4 and older kids teacher. She has a lot of knowledge about kindergarten as her daughter teaches it. She applies kindergarten teachings to this class to help get them ready. Although they don't have a curriculum for pre-k Ms. Andrea is a great asset to help with that. Lastly Ms. Kristie the director is super friendly. Her father was the one with the vision to open up this daycare/Preschool. I like how they separate the kids in classes by age and try to treat it look a preschool. Ms. Danielle saw that my daughter could benefit from being in the older kids class so had her moved. I really appreciated that. They try to do cute events for Mother's Day, Father's Day, harvest fest and Xmas. Always fun and cute. TPA helped me get all 3 toddlers potty trained, become less picky when it came to food and filled their developing minds with TONS of new words and vocab they didn't have prior to attending TPA. Not only is this school safe, but SO friendly and CLEAN . You will truly feel like family. The staff is empathetic and so loving, but very empowering to those parents who really do need extra help! After all it takes a village. They've been such a blessing to me and my family and I definitely recommend this school to those who are searching for a preschool in the I.E. also; in addition to the fun they have planned year round including summer! My son has been going to Truth Preschool Academy for 6 months now and we LOVE IT! His verbal skills thrived being around so many other children and he is now speaking in full sentences. my children had been attending this academy for a few years now and the only thing I would change is ,that they only go to age 7, because they are that awesome. the teachers constantly show all the children love. the atmosphere is always welcoming. everyone is so understanding especially with me being a full time mother and student. every teacher engages with the parents when it comes to the children as well a simple conversation at drop off/pick up. it's the simple things that help us as parents push through the day. Absolutely love this school! The teachers are all so caring and way more patient than I could ever be. My son learned so much while attending here. He is diagnosed with Autism and has a speech delay but I never felt like he was treated any differently and they adapted quickly to his different moods and triggers. The only reason he is not still attending is because we had to move to a different county. I recommend this school to all my mom friends. If there was ever an issue Ms. Danielle always made sure to promptly address my concerns and make me feel at ease. Both of my sons attended TPA for well over a year. The facility is clean and the director is absolutely wonderful. My sons loved their teachers and grew socially by leaps and bounds. They keep things fun and exciting with events throughout the year that are top-notch and so sweet. What I really love is the close relationship they form with the parents as well, so you feel comfortable to ask them anything, observe your child, or just check in. They go the extra mile for the children there and it's very evident from the smiling faces and happy sounds when you drop off your kids. What I love about their facility is that they are very above board and by the book. You rarely find a facility that maintains its integrity, and this one does. If your child struggles in an area, they work closely with you to help them develop out of it and form good habits. My kids still repeat positive instructions that they were taught at TPA ("what do we use our hands for" and things like that). They're also very careful about cleanliness and health. I've personally witnessed the kids being instructed to wash their hands many times throughout the day. They encourage the kiddos to drink water to stay hydrated. The facility is divided into 4 classrooms (as of now) that are age appropriate so every child is where they fit best and can learn and grow. The staff are very in tune with where the kids are developmentally and give them fun things to do within their capacity (ie play-doh for the young ones to help them strengthen their fine motor skills in preparation for future writing, etc.). My oldest son was very shy and had a very hard time speaking to adults or making new friends before attending TPA. Now he meets people politely and makes new friends at the park and plays well in group settings. If you're a type-A mom like me, you can observe the preschool and take a tour. They are also very open to you observing your child there (it's your legal right but most facilities don't like it and don't encourage it. TPA welcomes parental involvement.) As a concerned and involved parent, TPA gave me serious peace of mind about my kids being in their care. My kids still get excited when we drive by TPA. They have wonderful experiences and memories from their preschool. We stayed until Kindergarten and loved it. Highly recommend. read more

Yelp should allow us to rate a 0 star because that's what I give "truth preschool academy". The teachers and the Director Danielle clearly don't tell the "truth" because my toddler whom was diagnosed SPEECH DELAYED at the time was sent home on more than one occasion with UNEXPLAINED INJURIES, huge protruding knots on the back of my child's head and a hurt ankle to the point my child was limping and dragging his foot and couldn't lift his foot up off of the ground as he walked! Danielle called me and told me my child allegedly "threw a temper tantrum and threw himself on the ground and hurt his ankle" and that I should "take my child to the hospital" VERY ALARMING!!! That ankle injury was MY LAST STRAW with these people! Once I arrived to "truth preschool" to pick my child up, I further asked Danielle to explain to me what happened and she stated "he threw himself on the ground you can ask all the other teachers they were there and saw what happened" so I wasted no time and went directly to my child's teacher at the time, "Ms Michelle" and proceeded to ask her what happened... Michelle looked at me with a suspicious look on her face and stated "I don't know I was outside when it happen and he was inside with Ms Danielle" so what's the "truth"?? "Truth preschool academy"!?!?!? the Director just stated all of the teachers were there and saw him throw himself on the ground! I smell LIES!! I took my child to the hospital and the Doctor himself stated that I should trust my instinct about this school because there was trauma detected in the ankle X-ray and their story doesn't make sense to him either and especially since they don't have cameras in the school. I IMMEDIATELY removed my child from this school and my child has been BLESSED, HAPPY, SAFE and THRIVING ever since, at his new school. I want to be sure to add that in this review! ((I have NOT received not 1 phone call that my child has had a temper tantrum or threw himself on the ground at his new school)) my child comes home very happy every single day and has been tremendously progressing verbally since being there! There were also multiple times I arrived to pick up my child from "truth preschool" and my child was COVERED IN DIRT and there was another concerned parent in the parking lot when I arrived that pulled me aside and asked me if I've noticed my child coming home covered in dirt and I stated YES and that parent stated their child has been covered in dirt as well! ANOTHER RED FLAG! And when I went to "Ms Michelle" to voice my concerns about the playground slide being covered in dirt and how the staff should clean it to avoid kids sliding down a slide covered in dirt Michelle jokingly but not joking said "you need to leave" what teacher jokes around and says that to a concerned parent!? Also, there's another teacher at truth preschool I can't think of her name unfortunately but I won't forget her face... she's tall with black hair and wears glasses... my Mother and I both noticed at times that we would drop my child off that he would instantly charge at this teacher and would throw his sippy cup towards her as she would approach him at the doors in the morning. (HE DID NOT WANT THIS TEACHER COMING NEAR HIM AT ALL) Hmmm ANOTHER RED FLAG!! My Mother and I believe this was a defense mechanism from my toddler because of how this particular teacher interacted with and treated my child! Needless to say WE WILL NEVER REVISIT or recommend "truth preschool academy"! And I want all of the staff to know, YOU WILL ANSWER TO GOD for whatever you guys were doing to my child! And Kristy if your response isn't going to be a SINCERE APOLOGY for how your staff handled my child while in their care and for how Danielle and Michelle both clearly lied to my face your response isn't needed. This is the most AMAZING preschool around. Ms. Tanisha, Ms. Kristy, Ms. Claudia, Ms. Danielle, Ms. Michelle they are all incredible women with hearts of GOLD. My son, Thomas, attended for two years and was handled always with care, respect, and LOVE. He was newly potty trained when first attending, and he had a couple of accidents. Ms. Danielle and Ms. Tanisha did not embarrass him at all and when I thanked Ms. Danielle she smiled so sweetly and told me how she was a mommy of a little boy herself and made my whole family feel like it was so normal and okay. My son THRIVED in his early development thanks to TPA. His attitude, attention span, communication skills, and speech have all developed in the most beautiful way. My son has been attending truth preschool academy since October 25, 2022. I absolutely LOVE every staff remember every single teacher , director volunteer are completely hands on. Everyone goes beyond measures to make sure ALL the kiddos are properly taken care of. My son went in truth preschool barley talking. Now Today August 7 , 2023 he's talking so good. He's so happy he runs into the door so excited to be at school his safe fun place. My son went to Truth Academy from the age of 3 to 5 years old. I can not speak highly enough about the staff here. Their careful documentation and protocols were pivotal in my current custody of my son. Truth Academy was a place where I knew my child was loved and was safe while he was learning. I never once questioned the safety or care of my child by any of the staff. The staff prayed for me and my son, and they prayed with me and supported us through a very difficult time. So far my little guy enjoys this facility. And while I'm sure he rather be home as all children prefer, he enjoys his time at this school so much. Always getting pictures of him smiling. TRUTH PRESCHOOL ACADEMY was an answered prayer for my family. Our daughter attended TPA in DECEMBER of 2020 and graduated in JUNE of 2022, but stayed for there Summer Program until Kindergarten started AUG 2022. We have had several great experiences with staff, I love that my daughter was advanced and prepared academically for Kindergarten so much her teacher inquired where she went before! We currently have a 9 month old, who we cannot wait to attend TPA as soon as he turns 2. i'm glad you decided to respond - as "Mandated Reporters" there should have also been reports made when my son had experienced the same type of marks on his face while in the care of your teachers. So the fact that their were multiple ouch reports that was given to me exhibiting the lack of safety awareness that my austic son can not completely understand due to his disability goes to show how ignorant your justification is. And I stand on my initial statement as this is not the best environment for an autistic child and instead of supporting his growth and development the teacher and director put him on probation for behavior that could be redirected with positive reinforcement. Instead of making accommodations they punished him and made me feel as if i was not making him a priority because I could not remove him from the daycare soon enough. so please remember to put the "convenient" in front of Mandated Reporter- so the title is correct read more

My daughter began attending this preschool in 2022 after having a rough experience at a preschool prior. My husband and I explained our concerns to Ms. Danielle prior to enrolling her and she assured us that the school and teachers would patiently work with our daughter to halo her make the adjustment to the new school and they kept their promise to the very end. My daughter attended the school for a little over a year and all of the teachers were phenomenal! She started in Ms. Claudia's class and moved to Ms. Patty's class, however all of the teachers and the director and administrator were involved in her overall growth and development during her time there. They not only taught her well, they loved on her and made her feel safe (which is the most important thing to me). My daughter has been attending for 2 years now and I have nothing but great things to say about TPA! I was very nervous, scared and anxious when my daughter's grandmother could no longer babysit so we had to find the perfect child center for her. Being a first time mom I was very nervous to just leave my then (3 year old) who was not fully potty trained at a school with people I did not even know. I can truly say, that after touring mannyyy places this was the BEST choice! Right off the bat the director, and teachers made us feel so comfortable. Reassuring me that my daughter would be in great hands. Everyone at TPA has a family like relationship, all the students know each-other, the staff all knows each and every student. The school is very clean and sanitized, and I love that their open floor plan allows for everyone to see everything going on. I love how parents are always being involved in any news and are constantly being updated. If you would like to check in on your little one you could always just call or text and they are very quick to respond. My son was born just before COVID and did not get to be around many kids. This was the first kind of daycare/school he had ever been to. It started off really well. They said they were working on him keeping his hands to himself since he seemed to have an issue sharing. We had an incident where my son told me one of the teachers hit him and shortly after that everything changed. I was told it was because he kept having issues with other kids but they seemed to have just given up on my son. I went in to observe one day and saw that every action he took (good or bad) was now being ignored. The week after I went to observe we were told if he had another incident he would be kicked out. We left the school the same day. They made me feel like an awful parent yet my son NEVER had issues around other kids when we were around. read more
