    Latte and Provençal omelette
    Michele S.

Lovely place and people. Prices for coffee and food are lower for takeaway, but fully worth the up charge to sit and be served. My latte and Provençal omelette were perfect. A great breakfast option in a very convenient location.

During my visit to London, while shopping, I wanted some coffee and wanted to try somewhere that was not in the U.S. so gave this place a try. I didn't end up ordering a coffee but got an iced chai tea latte. It was very delicious except I asked for whipped cream but received just cream. Drink still tasted great but I would have preferred the whip cream. Normally I would have taken the drink back, but I was so thirsty! Lol. Although the have quite a bit of food options, I opted just for a bag of salt and malt vinegar chips which were DELICIOUS! I just wanted a snack and the hit the spot. As for the employees, the seemed nice and the seating area was very clean. Always a plus in my book. Would I visit again if in London? Probably yes.

Matcha and Chai Lattes! I have to admit I did a little happy dance. Pomme De Pain is a small lunchroom that serves sandwiches, smoothies, yogurts, salads, pastries, coffee, and tea. Nothing too crazy, extraordinary, or special. You can even get a sandwich with Nutella! Simplicity is key and Pomme De Pain gets it. This is a nice place to grab a quick bite or drink in the Tottenham Court Road area. Good coffee, lattes, and free wifi equals nothing but smiles!

Great sandwich joint with really friendly staff and lively atmosphere. One of the tables turns into a ping pong table so kids and adults can play. The baguettes and coffee are fresh, recommended for students and anyone looking to have a relaxing sit down in somewhere new!

I don't review often but this place was awesome. It was so delicious. I had the cordon bleu baguette, a bag of chips, and a San pellegrino, all for 5 pounds with the student deal. It's a great meal, has a great friendly staff, and has a tremendous atmosphere. A real gem.

Student special with The tuna baguette.

I decided to return early the next morning, and we were seated quickly. The staff is friendly and attentive. The cafe is quirky with shelves of vintage books and customer napkin art. You read that correctly - napkin art. A craft of water with fresh mint came out quickly. We ordered Americana coffees and I had the Eggs Drury. The food came out fairly quickly. My poached eggs were served on a massive bed of bacon and fresh made English muffins. The English bacon was incredibly delicious. It is no wonder that there are lines waiting to dine here. My husband had one of their premade breakfast sandwiches, made on fresh rolls, which he loved. There was a service charge added to the bill. I would definitely recommend and return.

I ordered the chorizo sandwich; the bread had a good crunch and the sun dried tomato added a bonus pop of flavor. The real winner and bar-setter for me was their iced vanilla latte. I'm not sure if it was the espresso or the vanilla syrup they used but it was probably the best latte I had. Inside the restaurant has lots of character and you can get more info on the decorations. Employees were kind and handled the business of the day with ease. If anyone happens to see this from the cafe, I'd really love to know what vanilla syrup is used as I'm still thinking about that latte weeks later!

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
