Yum!! I was planning on lentil soup and baba, but switched to the cauliflower dish. Blew my mind with presentation and flavors. Took photos and sent to foodie friends. Quiet relaxed atmosphere. Not self conscious dining solo.

    Sweet potato fries were fantastic

A fabulous restaurant that had very flavorful dishes. We tried the fried okra, a thinner okra than the US, which was split in half, then fried. The spicy red sauce was delicious and almost came with every dish. The sweet potato fries were actually the best in recent memory as they were warm and soft but fully cooked. The Safron rice was good too. My ground lamb skewers were delicious and it came with a healthy side salad of mixed Greens. Charlie the active had the lamb dumplings cooked in yogurt with pine nuts. Also delicious. You can't go wrong with stopping in and trying something new.

    Halloumi Sandwich

Was In London for two nights during the Euro 2024 football championship, so I watched a game at a nearby pub and on my way back to hotel saw this place, the name is what got me to try it out. I tried the halloumi & the chicken shish sandwich. Food was good and service was as good. I would try their main courses if I visit London again.

I found this place close to my hotel. I wanted to try it, the menu looked good. I had the English breakfast and I enjoyed it. It was a cute little place, seating inside and out. I liked they had spots for solo diners. The food was good plus I had an Americano. Think I'll visit tomorrow and try the Levantine breakfast or just a coffee. Service was great and liked how close it was to my hotel. Enjoyed it on my stop in London.

Wow. A fantastic little hideaway. Get the maqluba. The best eggplant I've ever had with crispy skin. It's like Peking duck of eggplants.

Great food... Cozy place. The lamb dumplings were amazing. I also recommend their hummus plate.

Almond croissant and a berry smoothie to start my day.

Cool little cafe immediately across the street fro Paddington. Very clean and a couple of garden tables - which is a nice touch. I had an almond croissant and a berry smoothie. They were both fresh and delicious. Far better than you will get in the station. And the coffee was good too - and the service was prompt and friendly.

So good! I literally had the best porridge of my life here! I got the date and banana porridge. It was warm and creamy with honey. The dates were such a good addition; I need to do this when I get home! Really cute little cafe next to Paddington station.

French toast. Didn't want dates so they added bananas - nice!

We had a full sit down breakfast here on our first morning in London. I had the full English breakfast of course and others had the French toast and shaksuka. A bit on the more pricey side compared to other places, but everything was good and made to order. Service was friendly and efficient.

Service was amazing and we loved our breakfast shakshouka. Beautiful Palestinian owned spot!

The Haloumi with oolong tea on ice

Fantastic little cafe near Paddington Station. Just far enough away that the crowds seems to dissipate a bit. I had a haloumi sandwich with a oolong tea on ice. My friend and I stopped here before she headed back to Canada, and we were happy to find a place to sit, relax and cool off for a bit. The week were where in London was boiling! The upstairs is quite busy and cramped, but there is additional seating downstairs, so if you're looking to escape for a place to study or just chill, head down to the basement. Tell the cashier if you're going to sit down there because they will bring you your order. The tables down there were all really cool wood, and it was just a chill place for us to hang out and talk before parting ways. I would definitely recommend this location as the atmosphere, and the flavors of the food were top notch!

    Latte delish !

Waiting for my Sister to arrive I remembered last time I was in London near Paddington a cool coffee shop so thought - let's see if it's still their ! Voila - it is Super nice friendly guys make the most delish latte - and I am a coffee geek ! Nice atmosphere and music - open to the street but no street noise - just pleasant music . Their pastries look super yummy - I had one last time but just the coffee itself is worth the very short 2 min walk from the station !

I went there a few nights ago and the guy behind the counter said that they are closed? Then why is your door wide open? Avoid this place.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...

I always come to this establishment if I'm in the area and demand that my colleagues meet me there. I've never heard a complaint. Many local establishments wouldn't know a "full English" of it slapped them across the back of their legs, but you won't be disappointed here. Decent, tasty, full-sized sausages, quality bacon and all of the assorted extras that would set anybody for the day. The coffee is good and if you've still got space for lunch later, they also sell a range of delicious sandwiches. The owners are flying the flag for English (no fuss) breakfasts. The interesting thing is that neither of the owners are native Brits, but they've certainly created a welcome oasis in this part of London. Even the health conscious and vegetarians will be happy. Highly recommended.
