However recently I purchased a new pool and my intention was to use Niagara as a data point to compare packages with another local vendor that had already given me a price (WOW). He also tried to leverage my past experience with Niagara that I communicated after he asked about experiences with other suppliers. Needless to say, I did a u-turn and pulled into Niagara for some info. I'm very glad I did. I ultimately saved literally over $1000 on my pool and I was very happy with the product. Now, pool installation time. After unpacking all of the supports, etc for the pool while the installer was on-site we found 6 supports that were compromised in some manner (broken at various locations). I called Niagara spoke to several folks, but ultimately the right individual who arranged to have replacements from a local warehouse available in 15 minutes. This is what counts from a customer service standpoint. The sales rep, unfortunately I do not have her name with me at this time of writing was very very good as well. Helpful and knowledgeable during and after the sale. So I'm giving this review a 5 for not only the above but these are expectations customers are looking for in the end and when executed properly result in great reviews. I hope you all have my success, my salesperson and are persistent to drive the deliverable I was looking for in the end. This way everyone wins. Glad to be back.

I visited the showroom and found a hot tub I was interested in purchasing. The following day, I called ready to move forward based on the pricing and details I was originally shown. However, once financing was discussed, the terms changed. The advertised package originally included an electric cover, but I was told that if I financed the purchase, the cover would be removed and pricing/specifications would change. What made the experience frustrating was that the website promotes financing, but the final offer did not match what was originally presented. It also felt like pricing was being adjusted above manufacturer retail while still being marketed as a "sale." As a customer, transparency and consistency matter. If a product is advertised at a certain price with included features, those terms should remain clear regardless of payment method. The experience reminded me of seeing a car at one price and then being quoted something different when you're ready to buy. Disappointing experience overall.
