We stumbled upon this restaurant serving island food and wanted to try everything on the menu! We unfortunately just missed their hot and ready made foods behind the glass- they had sold out- but thankfully we were able to snag one of their last poke bowls of the day. It was over a pound of fish not including the large portion of rice and fresh avocado. The creamy sauce was perfect I'd say it would be a good meal for two for only $25. They offer other dishes like short rib bbq, spam musibi, and garlic shrimp. The malasadas were what we came for and they did not disappoint! The owner was very friendly and accommodating. So glad we stopped by!

If you're looking for authentic Polynesian food, especially Tongan cuisine, this is the place to go! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and reminded me of home. The lu sipi was rich and tender, and the sapasui was absolutely delicious. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was excellent--the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you're Polynesian or simply want to experience incredible island food. You won't be disappointed!

There was a review that mentioned the food was 'Too Salty' which made me kind of skeptical, but I then decided to go in and order (door dash was charging too much). I ordered the 'BBQ Mix Plate' which came with beef, chicken, and short ribs, absolutely ALL OF IT WAS AMAZING! Even the side of Macaroni salad was DELICIOUS! I'm grateful I disregarded that one review, and went anyways, I will be coming again ! ‍

The owner(I assume) was extremely friendly and kind. The other diners were friendly too. Be aware there isn't a ton of seating - just two tables. I got fish n chips which was perhaps the best fish n chips I've ever had. The fish was so fresh and the breading was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I believe the owner said they do different types of fish so check to see what's currently on offer if you're curious. My friends got fried chicken at first we could not tell what pieces of chicken they were but they turned out to be the biggest juiciest wings we'd ever seen. Again, the breading was perfect and the wings were delicious. The chicken came with macaroni salad which I didn't have a chance to try because they ate it so quickly. I was a bit jealous. The portions were huge. We could have easily split our meals, but it was nice knowing we had enough for dinner later on. Definitely give this place a try. One of Burien's hidden gems! I'm looking forward to going back.

The runny egg on top ties everything together perfectly, and the spam hits that sweet spot: firm with a slight crisp, not soft, not burnt. Been going here for several years now - poke has always been solid and the Hawaiian dishes were good not great. But today it was all different - everything was outstanding! Wife got a 2 salmon scoop poke : fish was great as always, but the seasoned potatoes (gamja jorim) she chose as 1 of 3 sides was very good. Dad had the hwae-dupbap (think of it as Korean bibimbap but with poke instead of meat) and the Cho-gochujang sauce was excellent. I had the loco moco and it was better than in the past. Also the banchan with that were fire (seasoned japchae noodles, spicy shredded radish) both better than in the past They sell most of the side dishes as banchan and as a Korean I fully endorse them. I am a huge Korean banchan snob and I will absolutely countersign their cooking I don't know what's going on but like I said - everything tastes better than before. The ajumma who runs the place said business is getting slower as the economy is imploding so let's support this awesome local business so we can keep this place around.

All of the instructors are kind and supportive and even though our daughter is only 5 she has loved performing in the bi-annual performances at the Highline Performing Arts Center. They do a holiday season performance and another performance in June. It has been so fun to watch our daughter gain confidence in ballet (she wants to be a ballerina when she grows up) and learn a routine and perform it on a large stage in front of a huge crowd. We love Ms. Marinucci as she's been the primary teacher of the classes we've been in but this spring our daughter wanted to also try out hip hop class in addition to ballet/jazz. They offer the first class for free so you can see if your child likes it, and what I really appreciated is this also extended to currently enrolled families wanting to try another type of class in addition to what they were already doing. I also need to acknowledge Ms. Alida who works the front desk most nights. This woman is a true rock star. She knows everybody and everything and is so friendly and welcoming and beyond helpful - not only to my dancer, but to her little sister who has to come sit in the lobby and wait with me during classes. Alida is amazing.

I found two places this one and a Ballards brew house a little closer to D7. I decided to try the Poke tacos since I saw a bunch of reviews on how good they are. I also ordered the lumpia. The Poke Tacos were so BOMB the amount of chunks you get of delicious tuna is so good! The flavor of the cilantro and spicy aioli sauce drizzled on top is phenomenal. I'm not lying when I say ORDER THE TACOS! The lumpia was crispy and cooked to perfection every bite had a blast of flavor and talking about blast of flavor the Poke tacos are on a bed of soft tortilla then a hard tortilla holding everything together. The cabbage and flavor with that aioli is like a perfect combination! I added a drizzle of soy sauce and a drop of Tabasco to give it a better kick ! Will be back soon!

Kalua pork plate $17.99- great Smokey taste on the kalua pig and the side salad had nice greens. However, the rice was re-purposed hard and sour sushi rice which I assume is also used for the other menu items. I would prefer just plain hapa or white rice. Loco style $6.49 it was an extra cost to make the kalua pig plate, loco moco style which means brown gravy with sunny side egg. Enjoyed the gravy, but the price was too high. Because the kiosk was self serve, I was unable to know what loco style meant and wished I had ordered at the counter. Hawaiian sun POG $3.99 very reasonable price. Ice cold. Perfect.
