Most likely not going back to this place. I went on two separate occasions and each time, I was given a different reason why my gold bullion was priced lower than market value. On the first visit we were told the gold packaging was slightly compromised so they deducted $25. Not a problem. It was around the then current gold price in the market, minus the $25. On the second visit, they deducted $75 and the reason for the price change was because they stated it was what the market gold price was. BS. I checked on several reputable sites and each site was price on the average higher than the first visit. How can they be deducting more on the second visit than the first? We've come to Polyak twice now and each time the experience was positive. Parking and the environment outside is quite crowded and busy but once youare through lines for seafood or restaurants and inside Polyak, that isn't an issue (until you leave). Inside the decor leaves no kind of impression other than handle business/get out. However considering the nature of the business, maybe that is best - not the time or place for hanging out and socializing. The staff there have alway bee courteous, well spoken, balanced between explaining why decisions and valuations are made vs keeping the process moving. And we have felt seen and valued when there to transact. Considering that we live across a bridge and well up/down the road away from Polyak and there are other precious metals locations even closer to us, the fact we bypass them to come to fight for parking near Polyak says a lot. give them a shot, you should come away happy. read more
